You explained it well. I was able to follow along with not problem. I have watched other videos and could not followed along due the person rushing, no voice or they did not say the words correctly. Please do more videos with Blender.
do you how to keep land impact to same on mesh after resizing in secondlife too, i have seen some mesh is such you resize to any size but land impact is same
i want to learn how to convert prim object to mesh in blender, like i make some thing in secondlife , save as colada and import to blender make it mesh and take it back to secondlife , if yes please make a video on it , i searching from a long time and could not find anything helpful, and yes if you make please make some thing small like in this video, that is easy to learn and ty for this video, i will watch and few times and try to learn it
But if you doing texure in blender and baking it. In Sl its looks like a rubbish, because of small resolution. Even 2k is not enough sometimes. Especially its a big problem, when i want to add AO. ITs looks like that impossible to do with texture, right?
Not sure what you mean? I made this video very recently and it does indeed work. I've been using it to texture parts of my new fleet ship with trim sheets.
@@GraveRender Well, I don't know why, but when I tried it, it came out pixelated, and not blurry.. the texture was all over the place. With "diamond" pixels very large spread throughout.. I even tried using planar, to no avail.
Great to see Second Life oriented content. Thanks!
Super cool, looks great!
Thank you for this, I'm still learning
I'm glad you liked it! Thank you.

This looks great. Thanks from learners like us.
From a SL poster as well, Ty for posting about this game
Very welcome.

Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. :)
Thank you for sharing!

Thanks :)

All I know is that mesh changes land impact based on its size. I don't know any way around it.

You definitely can! I do that all the time for size references. I'll make a video soon.

Is it possible to put face numbers on materials name in blender and mesh face numbers will be same from blender to sl?
If there is I don't know how, but I am pretty sure they are randomly assigned on upload. Could be wrong though.
can you make same video in 2.79, i dare not learn 2.8 or higher, the scene scares me
xD Understandable. Sadly I might not even know older versions.
wow
That was too fast to catch up. Good for intermediates not beginner friendly. Thanks though
Sorry for not being slower! But feel free to pause and re-play certain part to get what you need. :)
Doesn't work anymore. Maybe on simplistic shapes, but nothing complex. Not even close.

@@magicool5981 You must have done something incorrectly with the UV mapping or assigning materials for different faces I think.
@@GraveRender I don't think.. been doing it for a while.. just thought your way may be easier.. I dunno.
I just went back and tried again, and I get a "No Active Face" error when I try to do the second part. (Follow Active Quads)
