My hair used to be very long (at my waist) and is very thick/wavy/curly/messy. I remember trying to do a bun like this and it simply not working at all. I feel like its not a messy bun if you are like back combing to add more volume and try to make it look good. I feel like a messy bun is something you do wit your hair when its in the way when you don't have a brush or a mirror
For those of us with thin hair, we have to add a hair extension. I use a 22-inch 5 clip in straight. And this bun looks amazing when you add an extension.👍
My hair was super damaged from dying my hair and I used hear daily,I cut most of my hair and got a keratin and Now I'm letting my hair grow out so excited to try all these styles
