My husband I both agree this is one of your best videos to date. The couch to bed debacle… the bird attack… the pretzel smile and yoga. We were giggling a lot in this one.
Fun story (for me anyway), in the 80’s we had done our best to book at trip to WDW. We booked a hotel that was a Polynesian inn (not Disney’s) or something like that. We arrived in Florida late at night. We took a taxi to the hotel but the driver took us to Disney’s Polynesian. They told us it was the wrong hotel. We thanked them and asked for a cab. They said, you can stay here. They told us the rates and we said “oh, that’s so much higher”. They told us it’s ok, will let you stay here for the price you booked at the other hotel. Now that is Disney Magic!

I’ve been watching and loving your videos whilst going to all the Disney hotels. In this particular video, I found it very cute that your smile was the bottom of your pretzel. Also, I like the parts when you’re just going through all the rides and saying the wait times. When you stopped and showed the glowing castle and you said beautiful castle, I said timeless because obviously that’s a pun on just sitting there absorbing the ambience is beautiful and timeless but also it’s not gonna take any time or waiting to admire the fun and beauty and glowing-ness of the castle. Great videos, thanks. BTDubs, you really touch my heart, make me cry and make my day when you have those “I’m talking to you moments”…So thank you for doing that. Positivity/positive affirmations is what we all need a little bit more of. I know that getting a little boost of positive energy every day helps me out especially when I’m having a bad day at work or am not feeling good.

35:33 SO glad that Happily Ever After Returned! The very best show on WDW property and a huge reason to stay late at Magic Kingdom. Of course, staying at the Poly isn't too bad either... one of the originals and still the best.
I'm so old that I remember when they had the macaws in the lobby. Tonga Toast and POG juice at Kona Cafe was the best breakfast. I don't know if they were pumping aromatics around the resort artificially, or if it was a combo of the tiki torches and plants, but waking up and stepping outside to that tropical smell was the perfect reminder that you were on vacation. And sitting on the beach, watching the water pageant on the seven seas lagoon, with the MK fireworks going off in the background was a great way to end the night.
Hey Chris this is Matthias I have been really enjoying you showing 20 days at 20 the Disney World hotels. Just finished you watching this video on day 10 at the Polynesian Village resort. That place looks beautiful. I love things Polynesian because I am part Polynesian. Does look a bit different from 'Alani. Would like to have some Dole whip from their it is one my favorite treats when I get to Disneyland in California. Mickey looks nice with his 'aloha outfit and you too as well. That's cool to know that the monorail is not an attraction but a transport a bit similar to Tokyo. Doing great job Chris.

The crow probably thought you were someone else. Crows have good memories and if someone that had a similar Hawaiian shirt harassed the crow at some point, it will remember that for years. They will sometimes have their buddies join them too. A crow will also remember if someone treats it very kindly. If you feed a crow regularly it may start leaving presents for you. They like to collect unique shiny things. It’s pretty amazing… “bird brain” is actually a compliment cause they are such intelligent creatures. About the same level as a 6 year old child.

At the Contemporary You need to be in the California Grill during the fireworks or on the 3rd floor outside stairway. The viewing deck by the gift shop can get crowded.

Love Polynesian Village Resort. My family and I stayed at the Resort Easter of 1972 and Every year after that at Easter time. My parents paid $49 a night.
The last time my husband and I were there, in 2021, I think, we were on the People Mover when the fireworks started. They stopped it and BOY WHAT A VIEW! I loved it so much!
Stitch is my youngest daughter ‘s favorite! She is grown and both my daughters are expecting ! Two baby boys that I am already planning Disney visits with.
My wife and I booked the Poly back in the early 90’s through Disney and they booked a “smoking “ room (yes they had that). When we checked in I said not a smoking room we wanted a nonsmoking one. We had booked a garden view (cheapest) and they said sorry we’ll take care of it and put us in a ground floor room facing the beach and seven seas lagoon! Disney is amazing at taking care of guests and we were in awe with the room.

My husband and I love resort hopping to The Poly on every trip that we come to WDW. I could listen to the Hawaiin music all day. Love that you can take the boats to the parks from some of the resorts. It's our favorite transportation.😊

I’ve been watching and loving your videos whilst going to all the Disney hotels. In this particular video, I found it very cute that your smile was the bottom of your pretzel. Also, I like the parts when you’re just going through all the rides and saying the wait times. When you stopped and showed the glowing castle and you said beautiful castle, I said timeless because obviously that’s a pun on just sitting there absorbing the ambience is beautiful and timeless but also it’s not gonna take any time or waiting to admire the fun and beauty and glowing-ness of the castle. Great videos, thanks. BTDubs, you really touch my heart, make me cry and make my day when you have those “I’m talking to you moments”…So thank you for doing that. Positivity/positive affirmations is what we all need a little bit more of. I know that getting a little boost of positive energy every day helps me out especially when I’m having a bad day at work or am not feeling good.

I'm so old that I remember when they had the macaws in the lobby. Tonga Toast and POG juice at Kona Cafe was the best breakfast. I don't know if they were pumping aromatics around the resort artificially, or if it was a combo of the tiki torches and plants, but waking up and stepping outside to that tropical smell was the perfect reminder that you were on vacation. And sitting on the beach, watching the water pageant on the seven seas lagoon, with the MK fireworks going off in the background was a great way to end the night.
Hey Chris this is Matthias I have been really enjoying you showing 20 days at 20 the Disney World hotels. Just finished you watching this video on day 10 at the Polynesian Village resort. That place looks beautiful. I love things Polynesian because I am part Polynesian. Does look a bit different from 'Alani. Would like to have some Dole whip from their it is one my favorite treats when I get to Disneyland in California. Mickey looks nice with his 'aloha outfit and you too as well. That's cool to know that the monorail is not an attraction but a transport a bit similar to Tokyo. Doing great job Chris.

The crow probably thought you were someone else. Crows have good memories and if someone that had a similar Hawaiian shirt harassed the crow at some point, it will remember that for years. They will sometimes have their buddies join them too. A crow will also remember if someone treats it very kindly. If you feed a crow regularly it may start leaving presents for you. They like to collect unique shiny things. It’s pretty amazing… “bird brain” is actually a compliment cause they are such intelligent creatures. About the same level as a 6 year old child.

Chris, now you know why ZZ Top can never shave. Stay positive, great content. It is good to know about the boats for when the monorail is down. At the Contemporary You need to be in the California Grill during the fireworks or on the 3rd floor outside stairway. The viewing deck by the gift shop can get crowded.
Please don’t forget Fort Wilderness as a moderate resort. It’s a magical place.
I think the bungalows were under big renovation and not available to rent til later this summer.

Love Polynesian Village Resort. My family and I stayed at the Resort Easter of 1972 and Every year after that at Easter time. My parents paid $49 a night.
The last time my husband and I were there, in 2021, I think, we were on the People Mover when the fireworks started. They stopped it and BOY WHAT A VIEW! I loved it so much!
Stitch is my youngest daughter ‘s favorite! She is grown and both my daughters are expecting ! Two baby boys that I am already planning Disney visits with.
My wife and I booked the Poly back in the early 90’s through Disney and they booked a “smoking “ room (yes they had that). When we checked in I said not a smoking room we wanted a nonsmoking one. We had booked a garden view (cheapest) and they said sorry we’ll take care of it and put us in a ground floor room facing the beach and seven seas lagoon! Disney is amazing at taking care of guests and we were in awe with the room.

My husband and I love resort hopping to The Poly on every trip that we come to WDW. I could listen to the Hawaiin music all day. Love that you can take the boats to the parks from some of the resorts. It's our favorite transportation.😊

Each day I watch for your new video. We have gone to WDW twice in our RV as part of a one year (each) cross country trip. We spent Christmas 2022 at Fort Wilderness. It was fabulous. Now we have sold our RV and figured we would not be able to go to WDW again. Your series has opened up a whole new opportunity and option to go and stay. Thank you.
