Sitting here watching from Norway. I have been following along since last summer and think you are really good at developing the farm. I see that you are struggling a bit with the construction of the chicken coop. I would advise that if you make each wall first, with inclined braces for stability, it will be easier to erect the walls and screw them together at the end. Just a tip from a retired architect and grandmother. Hope you have a wonderful summer.
If you take a paperbag, the next size up from a lunch bag, fill it with abunch of plastic grocerybags to make it somewhat round, gather the top and tie it off with twine and hang it up in the shed. It gives the other bees and wasps the impression that there is a baldfaced wasp nest and wont come around it since they are the most aggressive and territorial wasps.
The best, safest way to get rid of wasp nests is cup of water and some dish soap. Just squirt some dish soap in a cup of water and throw it on the nest, it not only kills the Wasps, but prevents the other wasps from coming back to that nest. Once you try it you will be amazed at how well it works. The Wasps cannot fly covered with soap like that, they die within a few seconds.
I love me some Kayson...❤ I think he is so cute and funny with his shoes on backwards...😂 He's such a boy, always getting into something. Walks around with a goose egg on his forehead and acts like it's nothing. Scares me, especially when he said he felt dizzy so I can only imagine how Brandon and Stephanie feel. 🙏🏽God Bless these beautiful kids...❤
@@donnacrane6944 if hes highly allergic I'm sure they do because I'm allergic and within 5 minutes of being stung my throat closes so I doubt they'd be out in farm land without one
A screen door/half door on that building would keep what you want inside! Hope Kayson noggin is really hard and he’s alright!❤ It really takes a lot of smarts to think up a coop in your head with no pattern and it’s beautiful every time! That is God given talent!

I like seeing what you do to help improve your situation and people should not say anything about it. I feel very fortunate to be able to share your experiences with your family and animals. Hey Brandon and Stephanie, Leighton, Kayson, Addison and Braylee ❤️ great video ❤️ love watching y'all call the goat's and they come running down it's beautiful ❤️ Stephanie at one point in the video in a distance you could see that beautiful flag flying in the back. The baby puppies are so big. I'm so glad you got the wraps killed before they got Kayson ❤️ Brandon you are awesome making them chicken coops, if you ever have time you should make some and sale them. All of my chickens free ranged, I had a coop if they wanted to go in it, but I had geese that helped with the predators and wonderful dogs. Love y'all and God bless you and your family and all the animals and feather's 💕💖💕❤️❤️❤️ y'all have a safe trip.❤️❤️
It is natural for an animal to want to move their offspring periodically. This is an instinct to protect them from bacteria build up and paracite load. Now that they are up and toddling, they need a larger fenced area to play in safely with some soft rope to play tug games and puppy safe chew toys to occupy them as mama naturally starts spending more time away.
I am very happy with my two Bluetti units. EB70S and AC200Max, with a 120W solar and two 200W solar panels. Had these since ordering them in late October 2022. Both working well.
I hope you didn't leave the dead wasps and nests in there. If the puppies find them and chew on them they could ingest that spray and get sick. I love watching your channel. Learning right along with you.
i was thinking the same thing the spray on the ground leaves a residue that they are walking through then climbing and biting on siblings so ingesting it hopefully it is a non poisonous spray that only kills insects and doesn't hurt people or pets
Soooo many negative and a few hateful comments on this video! It’s not even suggestions but everyone thinking their way is better. And my goodness how did dogs survive in the past, this is an LGD mama who had puppies and is taking good care of them. I’ve seen Puppies in the past survive with laying in the dirt. The Eddy’s take good care of their animals.
Poor little Kayson! He better learn to get ice on his head when he hits it. He doesn’t want it to swell inside. The egg coming outside is what you need to see but darn I bet that hurt. I hope he doesn’t get dizzy anymore. The chicken pin looks good. You have some adorable and big helpers there!
Yes Brandon I got stung by a wood bee and my arm was as big as a foot ball. As you have said farm work is never done!! God bless you all and stay safe.
I don't know what a wood bee is . Could it be a carpenter bee ? PLEASE let me know about this because I would like to look it up on Google to find out about it !!!! 😊😊😊😊😊 .
I use hair spray on the bees. Bees breathe through their wings. So the hair spray clogs and sticks the wings together. It also will seal the nest. It safe and doesn't hurt anything. I use to carry a can with me when i was working around the farm and trail riding. Hate those ground bees. My horse stepped on a nest and it was a bucking spree event. Bees attacking her i started spraying the bees un fight and the ones on her body and they fell to the ground. Wings stuck to their bodies like glue. Once we were picking up old cans and pails plus garbage and before we turned the stuff over we would spray under or in the cans. Just for safety. I love the eddy system. You save a lot on money by using it. Hydro is so expensive here in Ontario Canada. I suggest getting a magnet to gather up nails (may you have one) if you drop them on the ground. It just a suggestion. Do you put a roost in your pens. I love it when everyone chips in to build them. Thank you for a great video.
It would be best to move the puppies when spraying the bee spray. The residue from the spray lands on the ground and not safe for the puppies to be near.
We have a bluetti for our home and Airstream. We use it for charging all the phones, Ipads, kindles and watches. and can do them all at once. Also, we do lose power during storms in the summer so it is very useful for that.

Brandon, just a little note. I saw the solar panel as you had it setup earlier there was a significant patch of shadow at one end panel of the array. You only had 107W delivery though having strong full sun on the nominal 200W panel. Due to the solar array of silicon cells, being series connected to get the higher voltage that is needed for power output, ANY shadow, even a narrow little strip can very significantly limit from full power. Any silicon cell in partial shadow will restrict maximum current delivery from the entire array. Any shadow determines maximum current in the individual cells without full sun. Such limiting causes these silicon cells to block increased current and go into reverse polarity blocking current going higher. To limit potential reverse breakdown groups of cells will be bypassed by diodes, as too high reverse polarity can put potentially damaging reverse breakdown otherwise. Such bypass then allows the higher current ofvthe remainder full sun lit array to flow, BUT cuts down the delivered voltage, which then reduced power, as P = V x I. Net effect is that in this case you got only 107W, when by strong sun exposure you should have more like the 200W that the panel is designed to deliver. At some opportunity try it, set up with the array either fully exposed or partly in shadow, note the power delivery, then move the panel, or create a shadow/full exposure, opposite to first observation and note the change In power delivered for the two conditions. In general for maximum power avoid ANY SHADOW of any region of the panel, as well as as near as possible right angle, 90°, to direction of the sun.
