Advance was her best 2D gameplay, and I think later 2D games should've adapted it more and given a couple tweaks to perfect it. I really don't like how she plays in modern 2D titles like Origins and Superstars. even though I am excited to play her in the latter.

Fun fact: in Sonic CD Amy was originally named Sally acorn by Sega of America.
Because they wanted a name that American kids can recognise.
but it's obvious that Amy and Sally are two different characters for obvious reasons:
1)Sally Is a squirrel and Amy Is..... I don't know an hedgehog or an echidna, probably hedgehog or even an another animal because Sega says that knuckles is the last remaining echidna.
2)Sally Is a Freedom fighter and Amy Is someone who predict the future.
3)Sally Is brown and Amy Is Pink.
