I was hoping it would grow on a lot of people. It's probably jarring if you're not expecting it and you're not a big fan of the metal/heavy rock genre. But with the deeper meanings (like Brutus' betrayal of Caesar when he was conspired against then murdered, being stabbed in the back by those he trusted. Which is why Rome eventually fell). And Ryan's different inflections he uses with his vocals. A lot of comments mention Ryan being off key, but that's not what I hear. I absolutely love this song.
