I will admit. The 1 good thing about the quarantine: exposing all of the bullshit from celebrities, politicians, corporations, private equity firms, hedge funds, activists, and governments.

Quarantine was where my chronic depression began. I honestly haven’t been all the same since that day in 2020 when I learned I wasn’t going to be seeing any of my friends for a long time, and my dad for a few weeks. The state of the US as a nation hasn’t helped to make it better.
The quarantine was the start of the downfall of the US not gonna lie.
Quarantine was pretty nostalgic for me, it was the year where i started to understand more about computers by doing random stuff and watching videos while in the classes, im kind of an omnivert but i like my solitude a bit more sometimes so quarantine was the shit for me, (though tuning into the news to see how many bodies the virus got wasn't the coolest thing in the world, it was still very intriguing, thinking of it as a modern plague, i never got it btw and still haven't vaccined) also cuz I got a Nintendo Switch for Christmas and a Chromebook for my b-day, quarantine was also the year i got into gaming channels and streaming, watching people like Stumpt, ChilledChaos, ZeRoyalViking and the Derp Crew, was the highlight of my year, and one thing I will NEVER forget the insurrection, omg that HAD to have been the biggest riot on a federal building I've ever seen so long story short, it was cool
I was born in 2003 as well and I hold no nostalgia for quarantine itself. In fact 2020 is when it felt like everything started going downhill in the world imo. I miss the 2010s...
Literally 2021 was so trash, literally everybody wasn’t even in class we all just had our cameras off sleeping, eating, or playing games
The place I work at was considered an essential business since we sold groceries, so we stayed open, and since fewer customers came in during that time, I just played Super Nintendo all day. It was a chill time for me.

As someone who was young when Quarantine started, I don’t consider that time NOSTALGIC. At all.
When digital classes started, I wasn’t allowed to go to the zoom meetings in my pajamas. I was forced to wear my regular clothes “like I was going to school”, which annoyed the hell out of me. And ALL MY TEACHERS said that the camera and mic must be on at ALL times.
During that time, I had Invisalign (and was on the phase where I had to wear it ALL day, except for meals and stuff).
So I was only allowed to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. With no snacks.
And now I have an overeating problem (not an ED).

Bro in 2020, I worked minimum wage, and spent all my time inside watching anime or playing Overwatch. I recall my bedroom walls in greater detail than the grass or snow outside that year. I missed the time off, but simply being able to CHOOSE to go the grocery store or the gym to keep healthy does wonders compared to being a couch potato in a bubble.

Honestly, for me, quarantine was really good. Mainly because I lived in a village where the closest school was in a town nearby, so I didn't need a car to go to school, and the fact that my social life was not affected at all because I didn't have it (And still don't).
Oh, and its not like I missed any good memories because I barely have any.

I was 13 at the start. Had one girl i had interest in. Sadly covid hit. I couldnt talk to her anymore. After 2 years all ny aocial skills went away and i couldnt make eye contact with a girl. Now i finished school and she asked me something via whatsapp. I tried to reply but she blocked me 💀. Quarintine sucked.

I graduated high school in 2020 and I honestly agree that we all need to let it go. It's been 4 years now, and for me, I found that for most of that time I didn't really think about it at all until recently due to a few family members graduating. And now after that I think maybe not having to sit through hours of speeches wasn't all that bad. Although my school did also do a drive through graduation ceremony so while not the conventional ceremony was at least better than nothing so that may also influence my opinion.
I liked the quarantine when it happened but looking back on it I’m sad I got locked indoors for a year at the last of my teenage years because of an off brand flu.
The only silver lining about quarantine is that my art got better because I had more time to draw

It was an interesting time, but I learned very quickly I do not work or learn well from home. Thats why even when given the opportunity to have work from home days, I still choose to go into the office. I need my own space to work away from home and I need people around me that I can socialize with.

Quarantine really messed me up, I was introverted before COVID, but after COVID I just didn't talk at all for like a year or two when I went back to school. Thank god I managed to find some people I can talk to, even if I only really talk to 3 people a lot, it is better than talking to no one.
