Very informative stuff. I've been earning salary through PayPal for about 2 months now and I've still not found the best way to withdraw it. I heard from your other video that cbn suspended naira cards from dealing with online... I followed your advice and got a dollar prepaid card from Uba bank, but for some reason they said if I load the card I can only use it to spend online or outside the country. That it's not possible for me to unload the cash from the card.
So I checked your vid. and you said you wait an hour when you want to unload from your dollar card at the bank. Maybe the branch policy is different, I don't know... So I checked for other methods and will try out the payoneer account. Later I will create the Dom account for smoother purchase and withdrawals, thanks for your help and I'll recommend your channel to my friends and associates😁

Yes Ngozi, your Dom account can be credit in many other ways besides PayPal and Payoneer, you can get a direct wire transfer, western union transfer, money gram, direct to your Dom account 👍🏾

For PayPal I'll advice linking a Prepaid Card (Currently the UBA Prepaid Card works great), or alternatively you can link and withdraw from your PayPal to Payoneer (here's a video I did showing how that can be done ruclips.net/video/UcDrvnJDe9U/видео.html)
Then from your payoneer I advice withdrawing to your dollar account rather than Niara. I hope you get my drift

This video is confusing, are you trying to say that if you add a Dorm account to Payoneer, you cant withdraw to that dorm account until you have $1000 in your Payoneer account before you can send it to the dorm account ?
No Future, that's not what I'm saying.
You can add and withdraw to both your Naira account and Dom account, that's not the problem.
The point I'm trying to make is that if you choose to withdraw to your Naira account using the payoneer exchange rate, you'll be losing a substantial amount of money, so I'm advicing to withdraw to you Dom account so you can withdraw in dollars which when you exchange on the black market you'll get way higher, right now Naira is 570 to $1, whearas payoneer gives you around 400naira.

If you want cash yes, they will give you, but its not advisable, coz most of these transactions happen on the street side, and hoodlums are known to lurk around anywhere money transaction goes down like Atm Machines, POS Outlets and most especially dollar exchange points coz they believe since its dollar you may have good amounts of money that they can snatch from you (this is the major downside of the black market exchange, but attacks rarely happen, the Aboki dealers are also know to protect their customers in cases of attack). However, always insist on mobile transfers from the Aboki regardless of how small the transaction.

@Et Cetera Sure you can, but two main issues are finding someone you can trust online, as you can't trade face to face with them, secondly you can never find any online exchange as high as the Aboki rate, coz any online exchanger hopes to makes some profit. For instance, we buy from some freelancers and affiliate marketers at the rate of 400naira per dollar currently, coz after paypal/payooner, transfer and withdrawal charges we resell and only make a profit of 5naira per dollar. If you don't mind selling at 400 we can buy from you.

No it is not the same, different withdrawal amounts means different charges. The withdrawal fee is 3.5%. So for instance $100 withdrawal is $3.5 charge, while for $500 withdrawal payoneer will charge $17.5,

Hi Ifeoluwa, so withdrawal charges vary based on the type of withdrawal, for instance, if you are withdrawing to your Naira account, the charges are included in the exchange rate, but if you are withdrawing dollars to your domiciliary account, you'll pay somewhere around 2.5% of the amount as charges
I doubt if UBA allows any customer to withdraw from any usd prepaid visa card.... I went to the bank and it took them forever to work on that and later told me that there was a new directive from CBN not allowing customers from withdrawing from their cards. That's annoying and so frustrating

Yea you can withdraw from your Dom account over the counter at the bank, the bank will give you Dollars, you then have to go and exchange your Dollars for Naira at the black market

But doesn't your domiciliary account also deduct their charges?
Yes Audrey they do, but the bank charges a fraction of what Payoneer charges per transaction. So for this withdrawal, Payoneer charged $36.10 and the bank (UBA) charged $5, that's $41.10. This is still nothing compared to what you lose by using the exchange rate on Payoneer if you were to withdraw directly to a naira account.
Going by an exchange rate of 475 naira to 1$ which it was at the time of making this video, losing $41 will be losing 19,680naira, compared to losing over 170,000 naira
Even if your bank charged exactly the same as Payoneer did, you will be losing around 34,000, which is still nothing compared to 170,000.

If you withdraw from PayPal to your UBA Prepaid Naira card, you can withdraw your money with the card at any atm. I also think you should be able to link the card to your UBA app and transfer to your UBA account or any other Nigerian bank account you may have.
I don't use the UBA naira card, but I think it should generally be easy, easier than the dollar card

You can't get the money in dollars in your Naira card, if you want to get it in dollar, you have to request a UBA "dollar" card

I need to mention that if you want a mic for content creation like making youtube videos and you're on a budget, these mics may be a bit of an overkill as there are cheaper alternatives, coz I primarily use them for professional music recording, but if you can afford to get it, then I highly recommend as either one of them is great all around.

You have probably done this transaction more than once so i wanted to ask if that $5 is a flat/constant fee or its a percentage fee and varies? Btw i just did the math on payonneers charges and it's 2% of any withdraw excluding exchange fees.
No it's not a flat rate of $5, that's for transactions below a certain amount ($20 I think). Charges are quite higher on the card now
