wow simply amazing 😍😍😍 i didn't even know there are so many adjustments we can make on this over lock machine .... i couldn't even put thread properly... if messed i had to call technician n he would charge 500 rs each visit now i can save alot of money n do this simple trick to use fully .... thanks

I love your studio! And thank you very much for teaching us! I am in fashion school and my school is a Jack school. I have my Jack F4 single needle lockstitch and now want to get my first ever overlocker. It will be the Jack E4 because these series with the white, blue and grey colours are cheaper for us students. I have the Jack E4S and had it for about 6 months and wouldn't be without it, it's quiet, (wouldn't wake a sleeping baby) variable speed, and the second line of stitching which is 3/4 of a cm from the edge I use as a guide for sewing a 1cm seam allowance.

I believe that this can also be used as a 4 thread overlocker as i have Jack E3 4 thread Overlocker and it has the same mechanism except for the chain stitch (the last part of threading). Thread the 2 loopers & the 2 needles and i assume it will give you a 4 thread overlock. I tried a 3 thread overlock on the 4 thread Jack E3 by not threading the second needle & it worked, that's why i believe yours could work as 4 thread overlocker too.

I think what you need is a speed control attached to the motor. That way, when you sew on curves, you can regulate the speed in order to sew carefully. My opinion 🤷‍♀️

Hi, thank you.
If it is for business purpose you can buy an industrial overlock machine which costs around 26k or a regular overlock machine which may cost around 6 - 8k.
4 thread overlock is the most commonly used and 5 thread overlock will have an additional safety stitch which makes the seam stronger.
