@@StickNclutch These guys could smoke those other riders on a base Specialized Allez. Strength and conditioning are far more important than the bike itself. Though obviously high-end groupsets and nice stiff carbon frames like these guys have do help. "Don't buy upgrades, ride up grades"

They aren't chilling at all. This is a FTP-like ride. Didn't you notice how the ride was short, or their position on the bike (not like someone going z2), or the film-maker heart-rate ?

This is beautiful to watch. The production is pro using 24fps with correct shutter speed causing the blur on every movement. Probably the best biking I've seen so far.
Started riding this route before you were born. There was even a TT in the colony back in the day. I live in Az. now so it was cool to relive this ride. And you are fast.

I went thru the same in 1993 arthroscopic knee surgery. Thorn meniscus, cracked kneecap and cartilage gone about 80%. Thank God I'm 95% recovered riding an average of 200 miles a week.

*I just bought a little 20" folding bike that's super fast and customized, I ride this thing 10+ miles per day on the bike trails around my house for exercise and I can easily maintain 20 mph on this small bike just like a full sized road bike. If you don't own a bike you don't know what you're missing.*

I am impressed by the speed and the fact that the cameraman could keep up. In the past, I've ridden on pch doing centuries, and never had anyone this fast pass me. Amazing. What I didn't like was seeing him blow through stop signs, I've never done that. I make an effort to almost come to a complete stop, so I don't tip over, but never just blow through. He was going to go through the red light and saw the cop on the left side. Good idea not to run them. But I do wish I had the legs.
No fixed gear bull. Actually has gears and rim brakes. Love it!

I'm watching this now in Australia. Most of the east coast has gone into lockdown (again)with Delta with the exception of my region atm but we'll probably follow soon. I managed a 40km spin on my mtb out through along some country lanes this afternoon so I'm feeling quite chuffed and appreciative I can still get out. I'm really enjoying your vid. It's actually quite meditative. And I love the way the other riders look around and go "What was that?!" as you fly past. lol. Cycling-bringing the word together. It's cool and I love it! Stay safe. What a great ride. I love cycling. I have a mountain bike. I ride it every day. I tried the crouching down technic way it makes you go fast. I was like damn, not ready for that type of speed I'm only a beginner.
