Spammers are mostly based in third world countries. I have hidden my FB page from a bunch of countries to help mitigate that problem.. The counties I have selected so far are, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, The Philippines, Thailand, Burma, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia. I will continue to hide my page from more countries like this if the problem persists. Many offenders are creating dummy FB pages to use for the purpose of spamming other FB pages that have large audiences. That means that if their FB page profile gets blocked by an admin of the other which they’ve targeted, they can simply create another FB page in a matter of minutes and do the same thing over and over again.

I have banned/blocked just as you say, but it only blocks *me from seeing the comment. I copied the link of the original comment (that the spammer commented on) and sent it to my husband, and the spam comment is still visible from my husband's account. I don't know of a way of actually deleting the spam comment.

Hi George, I wonder if you can help me. Attached to my Fb profile is a business page for a small vacation rental my family owns. I keep getting spam comments under any new posts I create for the vacation rental. The spam comments promote financial services and loans for very low interest rate and come from fake profiles that were created days ago. If I block the commenter, another 3 new commenters pop up, with the same exact spam message. Can I somehow block anyone from commenting whose profile, let's say, is less than a year old? Thanks so much!
At this time you cannot delete reviews even if it's spam. I had to completely remove the Reviews section of my FB page: ruclips.net/video/OyWQkR6FIXo/видео.html
