that was considerably closer than I thought it was up until those last few seconds of the video showed the weapon's state wasn't it? on a related note: does the tail help with unbalance issues or hurt? way less holding it in place seems like it should be an issue but there probably isn't all that much on the end of the tail that actually cares about getting shaken up like that and it probably keeps a lot of the motion away from internals...energy dump still needs to translate through though...yeah, no idea, hence asking.
