Finally, a lost media youtuber that doesn't make it unnecessarily unsettling for no reason. I don't need to be jittering in my britches when I'm watching a video about a spongebob flash game or something.
10:13 it's found apparently! The song is taken directly from the ending credits of “Please Don't Stop” a 1986 adult film, and the band in question is Aladdin's Magic Rub, but the actual band members are unknown.
Nice, another Lost media person to follow! I've never seen it covered by anyone else, but maybe you could look into the lost media animation i'm currently looking for, which was called "Oh Dear" by Jiwook Kim! It was aired in 2006 in the Nicktoons film festival and the only remnant of it currently is a screenshot of it from a commercial. i have a bit of info (like the screenshot) and sources it existed, but not much. The short scared the absolute heck out of me as a kid so i've made it my mission to find it.
8:25 Well, the Wii also vastly outsold the N64 and Gamecube even if you combine them so people who heard that the previous entries were good probably picked that up.
I love how these international VHS vanity plates and intro ads just straight up use music in such a flagrantly unlicensed manner. I think one of the theories about Malibu Video was that they were the Israeli distributors of Canon Films, itself an Israeli company, but that's like 5th or 6th hand information coming from me.
Hopefully this will be one of those things where you release a video and some of the lost stuff pops up online somewhere. Like maybe the GigaLeak will have the GCN Super Paper Mario or something.
There's a piece lost media I've been looking for for a while now, Jib and Crash the Hollywood Sneak's segment about Speed Racer (2008) I got their other segments uploaded on my RUclips channel but the Speed Racer one is the only one on record I haven't found yet.
that Chrome spelling game reminds me a lot of the original Chrome version of Monster Dash by Halfbrick. there's a ton of super old videos from around 10-12 years ago of people playing it, in which you can see a lot of the old UI, the original menu screen where you could shoot monsters onscreen with your mouse, original sprites, the original names of each level, and one of the most interesting removed features, special quotes from Barry (the protagonist) at the end of a game after he gets killed by one of the obstacles (such as monsters, spikes, pits etc.). from what i can see on the Wayback Machine, the game appeared to still be playable until 2017, around the time the app version of the game was also taken down, where it just became a 404 page. you unfortunately also can't access any archived versions before 2017 as it's behind a login prompt that just loops because the Wayback Machine doesn't archive those properly. an interesting thing to note is that it was most likely identical to the iOS version of the game, as i did see videos of people playing it on an iPad, which gives me hope that an early ipa file will pop up again someday. there's a chance it might also resurface on Halfbrick+ in its original form too (although considering how they remastered AOZ instead of simply re-releasing it, i'm not so sure)... pretty interesting stuff!!
Here is some lost media that I found interesting that I found about myself A Mugen character by the name of Omega Weegee that was deleted some time ago. An Eddsworld video where Tord Larson talks about why he left the show. And a game that I played as a child called Ninjump.
The Malibu Video song was identified as “Please Don’t Stop” by an obscure band known as “Aladdin’s Magic Rub”. The song was supposedly used in an 18+ film, which ties into the lyrics being suggestive. Now for how Malibu Video got that song? We may never know. Please see this message, Braden!
I remember renting Super Paper Mario and beating it back in 2009. It's really not a true Paper Mario game, essentially playing like an action RPG. Think of it as a side-scrolling version of Secret of Mana, Illusion of Gaia, or Terranigma.
So I i am a big fan of live tv shut downs so I look up fox kids shut down and found the totally spy pitch plot that was pitch fox family but it was the uk verison

Great video! thanks to youtube for recommending your channel
Oh this'll be fun. Cheers!
Idk why but the last one was very unnerving
I tried looking for any info about Malibu Video, But got nothing...😬
Here is some lost media that I found interesting that I found about myself
A Mugen character by the name of Omega Weegee that was deleted some time ago.
An Eddsworld video where Tord Larson talks about why he left the show.

Jeff Corwin sounds like a bootleg Steve Irwin

Very good video. Hope you get more subs.
Physical media is never going away. It'll just get more niche.
Id also like to add the show called disney's legends of the ring of fire.
09:16 Sounds like the same girl who sings the Night Trap theme
Yeah two lost media greats in one video
Another thing to note is how Alex was Korean instead of Latina.
One day that totally spies episode will be found. 😀👍

Something funny about totally spies along with the amazing spies
