      I was blown away when I got my Sensei recently...and I was already expecting quality! If they had a higher profile, they would be eating Gibson's lunch. Fender shouldn't be too comfortable either...Reverend might do the Tele better than Fender!

    Video Suggestions: Making this on some of my favorites as well as yours which may be my favorite. REAL player.
    The RUclips "GAS" confusion effect. I seem to have gotten myself into a Rut where I have so much "GEAR" I'm just confused.
    "Probably" why I for years and still do reach for my Taylor . Good news front. Landed a 12 Martin When they Zig, I ZAG. But really want to become a better Electric player in 2020. I'm just geared out. Two whole setups. One pure digital. One mostly analog. Both have their flavors. Neither is unique to me. Whereas I pickup my Taylor it's me, every time. Have a fantastic Summer.

      Oh man, gear saturation is a real problem! I'm a very sub-average Guitar player, primarily a Drummer and keyboard player second. The sheer amount of stuff I have for Drums and Synths is quite absurd, I have to just strip right down every so often and focus on the absolute basics. It can be quite refreshing and something of a reboot, quite a kick when you find that sweet spot that's just you.

    • @benlogan430
      @benlogan430 4 года назад +1

      Remember the gear doesn’t matter. You sound like you no matter. A musicians voice is in the hands and the mind. The phrasing, feel, groove and the note choice make the voice. The gear just gives you a tone.

    • @Ndlanding
      @Ndlanding 4 года назад +1

      @@benlogan430 Can't say I agree. When I play, say, a Fender i feel different, sound different and play different music than when I play a Gibson or humbuggery guitar, and playing an acoustic is a million times different, even when playing a lead part.

    I have quite a few made in Japan guitars spread from the 80's to 2012. Not only are they as good as a USA or any other country you care to mention, they are quite often better. Basically I would say that the best guitars made in the 1980's were made in Japan.

I bought this very guitar this weekend and had the same problem, however in the case comes a spare standard size Bigsby spring which solves this issue. The default lower (shorter springed) tremolo arm is something Reverend are trying to innovate I believe, Im sure you guys will know more. Though this might be worth a mention :)

    Hooray! Some Reverend love. In spring last year I went to Andertons with my 335 to try out some amps. Walked past an Orange Club King and thought it looked great so I tried it. Loved it immediately and bought it from Andertons online about a week later. Sold the Gibson to pay for it (with an amp’s worth of change) and don’t regret it. The Club King is wonderful. It can rock, jazz, blues, twang, jangle...everything. The roast maple neck is the best I’ve played and it looks fantastic. Also, if you ask a question in their forums Ken himself often replies. They’re a top company and make Simply amazing guitars for any money. Problem is, once you have one..... charger 290 next, I think!

    Always love the videos, this one was extra fun. The little chord lesson in there was a special treat! Thanks for the great content!

    That Contender sounds great and looks great, but that switch placement would drive me crazy.

    Sound really nice I would have to swap the switch and make the Bass Contour the last one as would use the pickup switch way more than the bass contour which is a shame

      On some Reverend models the bass contour knob is last, for example the Jetstream RB. You should check their website, they got nearly every configuration you can think of.
