So I've got lots of videos about combat and war, how about the chill experience? I know a lot of you prefer this, so testing it out here. If you want to support the channel, buy any game using this GOG referral link: af.gog.com/?as=1715648857 Thank you!
This does indeed look like a way I'd play a Civ game. What I remember most from the few Civ games I have played, I focused most of my time on building things, wonders especially XD
That's how I play most civ games since the very first Civ1, all the way to Civ6, Beyond Earth, Colonization and all. Just building empires... Never won a single game :/
What looks like white sugar in a red bowl, and confusingly appears to give you +2 food @1:45:47 is actually a soft white clay material used in Ceramics, Cosmetics and Medicine 🤷♀
Sometimes i hope there's mixed ideas like city building with RTS combat style similar to c3 & emperor but comes with swords & magics against invaders like aliens, local nomads, grunted natives, rebellions n etc...invaders can be random spawn like in c3 while others as cities in the map. city building would comes with researches n more unlocking quality of life. able to recruit champions, heroes, mercenary n etc. well...hopefully.
Hey @GamerZakh absolutely love all of this content you've been putting out on civilisation 7 and can't wait to play it! Can you clarify how the experience unlocks work for each leader? Is it just that you're unlocking mementoes? Do you earn experience in single player and multiplayer?
Thanks! You earn experience when you do something in the game. So if there's like 'build wonder X as this Civ', the moment you build the wonder as that civ you gain the XP. For gameplay, you unlock mementos and nodes on the attribute trees. Besides that it's cosmetics for your profile, banners, borders, titles, etc. It should also work in multiplayer but I haven't tested that myself.
I gotta say I've been waiting so long for a 4X that can be played as a citybuilder that right now I feel like I've been [a mild description of my feelings that I suspect the post was removed for by RUclips; it involved long sharp metal objects repeatedly inserted into my intestines from the outside]. Why does it have to go with features that absolutely obliterate every last morcel of immersion this series was still capable of generating for me. Why no out-of-city improvements, why no builders, why making all the improvements useless each new era. What's even the point of citybuilding then. Why mutating from one folk to another on a whim, why leaders being detached from their context (we know why, cause it makes no sense to have them attached anyways). My only hope is they'll somehow make Beyond Earth 2 with these city mamagement mechanics. But without making it all null and void every time you jump an era.
@GamerZakh hi, didn't expected you reply in Malay, your Malay is very good :). I have a question, at the start of this video do you play as India? Initially I thought you played as any one of southeast Asian civ (Khmer/Viet) but after I watched closely the cities is Indian. Did you change the civ from India to Khmer/Viet in the next age? I wonder if India's building has its own South Asian design coz it will be amazing since in the previous edition India always has east Asian design building. (Sorry my English is broken lol)
@@anggitaputri3123 I'm Malaysian, tapi bahasa baku sedikit haha. No worries your English is good. I started as India here but Southeast Asia was very influenced by India at that point in history. Malaysian royalty is just based on Indian system, Rajas, yellow umbrellas, etc, so it makes sense the architecture is similar. Southeast Asian architecture changed more once the world started coming in, mainly when it mixed with East Asian and Middle Eastern design. In the 2nd age in this game, you can pick Majapahit for the closest to SEA culture and Khmer is also an option.
@GamerZakh great! Thank you and Terima kasih for your explanation, looking forward to your next Civ7 video (perhaps continuing this India civ to the modern era with Siam/ Jose Rizal (dunno whether Philippines civ is included in modern era or only the leader).
It pains me to not see you use the (I don't know what it's called) Square 'View surroundings' icon on a scout where they don't move and see much further around them. Interesting play style though. 👍
The pros always say 'no one plays on easiest', but checking the stats, 4% of players only play on easiest and 7.7% total play under 'Prince' difficulty which is considered 'normal' difficulty. Turns out a ton of people just want a chill time.

Yeah I didn't read that tooltip haha, it really does look like sugar but forgot sugar is a new world resource in this game.

I can also choose not to play it because it's unfinished.
@@mikael8276 Sure, I've been telling people to not get it if they don't like it. Not sure why it's such a big deal, I don't buy games all the time.
@@GamerZakhEverything has to be a big deal nowadays
You've piqued my interest

I hated this "golden-minimalistic" UI. It has 0 personality.
Also it looks worse in action than on promo screenshots.
Back to ZEPHON.
I thought Ill be first ;]]
