- This RAID FARM uses few blocks, requires little knowledge (but I do teach you) and keeps you 100% safe from the raids as they come in, not even VEX get you!

Oh my goodness. This was my first ever raid farm and I just finished it today. Building in survival was really intense but easier than most other designs I have seen. There is a bug in the newest version that will say you were defeated in a raid even if your villager and their bed is fine. Bit it's easy enough to just start a new raid. I have a very simple storage right now and that will be the next thing I upgrade. Thank you so much I honestly thought raid farms were above my skill level and this design is perfect

Hey Prowl. I’m on ps5 in 1.19 and the raid farm works great but had to make some changes because, you know, glitches and platforms and stuff.
Half slabs on the roof of the pillager tower because sometimes the raid would spawn there (ran out of leaves).
Slabbed the floor of the captain trident killer for the same reason as above, removed the second floor entirely, and slabbed the bottom floor.
Still had issues with spawns on the ground so went a little extra and waterlogged in a radius of 30 blocks from the tower. Helped a lot.
Added trap doors on the walls of the hole for drops since sometimes the captain would spawn in there.
Had to make my trident killer one block lower for the captain since they wouldn’t spawn while I was on my platform while it was running. Works fine now.
Still get a raid mob clipping out of the box every so often and not sure why. Think it is just the way MC runs on the PS5. So off I go hunting. Not to hard to find them. They are normally on the ground somewhere.
But other than that, great design and thanks for the farm. Don’t know what I’d do without some totems and extra emeralds. You’re the best!

Great video, Prowl! A good villager transport method would be a nether portal from village to platform via nether hub at nether level y118.
Also, if you're brave enough to not fear a pillager spawn, you can shaft the spawns to your afk spot and have your trident killer there. That way you'll get better xp.
How's the xp on this farm? Considering dropping the mobs down near my AFK spot for the xp, but I'm not sure if it'd be worth the time/effort/potential danger.
@@xJollyLlama HI, JollyLlama! The xp is pretty good, but the purpose is really for all the drops. Especially the totems of undying. SilentWhisperer has a multi teered raid farm, recently. You should also check out. After creating this farm I used an auto sorter to organize all the drops.
Also, always remember most farms you have to be near them to work. So if you make this farm, you should do a sugar cane, bamboo, auto chicken farm, wood farm...etc. near it. And connect them all to an auto sorter.

Some thing you can use for the dispinser I got it from navy nexus if you fip and up side down stair with the open part on the dropper ( it’s hard to explain ) if you understood this you big brain it will allow the iteams to drop down and be alined .
Thank you for another great video! I made this type once using a tutorial by JC Playz, and it worked great, until an update and it broke. I went through the whole thing to try and fix it… (very labor intensive in survival! )
I could never get it to spawn anything again!!!! So my tower just sits there and it makes me sick when I pass it by( it was close enough to my village I built, but far enough not to interfere! Cannot find another world in the new updates that are as fun and enjoyable as the 1.17 update world I had! 😔

I really prefer this one over silentwhisperers. On his I kept getting killed by ravagers in my afk spot. Even when I reinforced his design

I made this one and it works great better than any others I've found The only thing is every once in a while the ravenger decides to spawn out of the side after doing a triple layer of stone

Update; this farm works great! A couple of changes I made;
1. A cow nearby for milk. Just in case you get bad omen when you don’t want it
2. Spawn proof the ground 6 block perimeter with leaves. I had in raid wave spawn on the ground for some reason.
One thing I found is the difficulty mode you play in matters... in Easy mode, getting totems is VERY rare (maybe impossible). Switching to Normal or Hard yields far more totems... which, lets be honest, is one of the main reasons to build one of these ;)
Awesome video but maybe have a way to turn the top trident killer and bottom trident killer on and off from the afk platform? For us who may not have a way to fly lol

I thought you had to cover the top of the tower with leaf blocks as well but if not that’s good too great video we still like the tutorials
Nope, if you are high enough in the air, the raids cannot spawn down there as long as they have valid spawning spots up top.

This is the most simple Raid Farm I have ever seen since it only took me around an hour because of the villager also I actually built a shulker box loader(the one from Bedrock Guide Season 1 ) for the none stackable items ,arrows,and emeralds.
This is a good tutorial. It only needs one more thing to make it 💯!

If you decide to destroy the floor for the spawning spots, could you just block the bottom floors spawn spot and have this still work?
This has been such a fantastic addition to my realm! Thank you very much for this tutorial. I am having an issue where Vex's still manage to get out and kill me in the AFK spot and can't figure out how or where they're coming from. The raid spawn structure is 3 blocks thick and there are no spawns happening elsewhere near the farm. Any thoughts?
Just finished this in a relam and I'm also having trouble with vex getting out. Tired more tridents and that didn't work either. 🤔🤔
@@jman52008 Yeah, we couldn't ever get it fixed, so nobody on the realm AFK's it for very long. If we do want to AFK for a while, we've all been throwing on armor with Thorns, having a Totem in our Off-Hand, and a Totem in our Main Hand.
We also disabled the death screen so we insta-respawn, so items don't have a chance to despawn when we're AFK.
We did all this exclusively for this raid farm to work well-enough for us. Worth it, though.

i did build this as i said, but no matter what i seem to do, no matter how many blocks i put around the main kill chamber, some are still passing through the walls or floor or somewhere :'(

Having some issues with lost pillagers on the spawn platform. Not sure what was done wrong covered everything with leaves and looked inside still an issue.
built this farm, works great.. only one issue, tridents occasionally glitch through the bottom of the trident killers, is there any way of preventing this?

I have a questionn . So as far as the spawn point method , how do I find the spawn point ? Would it be the same as yours maybe just facing another direction ? Or is there a certain dark spot I should be looking for ?
If you haven’t figured it out yet you can place glass planes at eye level to find the spot, mine was the same as his not sure if it’s always the same spot or not

Assuming you're still struggling with this (or for anyone else), see silentwhisperer's video, but if you fill a layer at eye level (e.g. with a gap between them and the floor) with glass panes, the pillager will spawn on a corner of a block (NW corner I think?), So then you'll know which spot is that spawn location

question do i need to stop the outside spawns if the outpost i chose is in the water? to me atm its liek there is 1 spawn in my building because of the water and i havnt seen nay on the lower floors
@prowlminecaft how do we fix the ravagers getting stuck on the magma blocks now?
I did his in a test world and it worked fine but then I did it in my main and the part that kills them in the outpost is either not spacing them or is spawning them in the glass
Does this mean they fixed the despawning tridents / falling through the world tridents? I remember trident killers were broken for months.

which is the best way to turn off the pillager captain trident killer before it spawns another raid with me on the ground?
How far is the village from the outpost? I found an outpost 50+ blocks from a village, would that be enough?
Can you do a slime farm at some point?
If you keep getting ravengers in the trident killer then put trapdoors on the end of the spawn platforms to make the area smaller (that way the ravengers can't fit Incase I explained it bad lol)
You should do a block count so people can see how many blocks they need
Worth noting that in 1.19 mobs can spawn on leaf blocks.
I mean to get the villager up I just put it in a boat lead it up using scaffolding that way I have a way up and don't have to worry it swaying every ware

No the Trident Killer is needed But does not reduce durability from the Trident und yes the Item sorter is optional

I finally got around to building it. It works really well but I still have those winged devils attacking me. Any tips to stop that? I put boats out but I don't want to have boats all over the place where I access my chests. Thanks for the tutorial!

I find that having multiple tridents or having your one trident be impaling 5 helps to kill the evokers before they can summon the vexes :)

One thing I would say is the to cut out the y levels, as pillager put posts can be at different levels (on mountains ) which will effect your final y levels for each level! But otherwise awesome tutorial!!!
I did also say how many blocks I went up when I was doing this.

Anyone now having issues with witches not falling into kill chamber? Sometimes one is getting stuck after last update. Not sure why.

Wow, I had no idea it was so easy to block the spawns with just a handful of leaf blocks. So many videos just absolutely cover every block with leaves its ridiculous!
my understanding is that Java players have to cover everything but bedrock spawning works differently so easier to do on bedrock and a lot of Java tutorial creators don't realize bedrock doesn't work the same.

Can you combine an iron farm with a raid farm, and also make it a trading hall by having multiple villagers?
In principle if you just have the iron farm high above the pillager outpost spawning spot, then the pan with the water streams for the iron golems to spawn in would also spawn pillagers. You would need to put the lava blade to kill the iron golems, a bit higher up to deal with the ravagers and stop them blocking the chute to the trident killer. Then if you have your villagers and beds underneath the pan with the water streams, and make the floor out of leaves to prevent pillagers spawning in the trading hall, then you should be good, am I right?
Am I right, or is there a problem I've not thought of? Maybe the iron golems kill too many pillagers so you lose out on loot for example? Or I don't know if villagers will refuse to work if they're stood on leaves.
Any advice would be appreciated!
just dont do that..you should have the idea of how annoying raid can be..they can spawn basically on everything..except leaves..they can spawn on some condition of scaffolding also..its possible to do but..then you just have to hope they doesn't spawn inside the hall which is rare but possible ..
@@crocodilebiscuit49 sure, that's why I suggested building the trading hall for the villagers out of leaves, so that the raids are contained in the same spawning area as the iron golems
@@ThePurplePassage if you 100 percent can pull it..then just do it..the chances of things might go wrong is very high..you missed one spot..youre basically doomed..(still not mentioning every other difficulties ) the spawn rate of iron golem however might be affected..because experienced mine get slowed by zombies spawning..
Why not use powdered snow to shoot the items down as it causes them to fall in a straight line.

Question about Trident killer mechanisms... if I make a Trident killer - would my friends on my server be able to benefit from the XP too if they use the farm? Or would each person need to throw a trident in each?
1 trident per player so if ur friend throw one trident inside with yours and your trident kills the mobs he wont get the xp
