- Our Eric Jackson got an exclusive tour behind the scenes in the freshly opened UBS Arena in Long Island, New York.
The Islanders co-own UBS Arena with Oak View Group, a recently established sports and live entertainment company founded by longtime sports exec Tim Leiweke and renowned music manager Irving Azoff.
(This video was filmed on 11/17, two days before the official opening on 11/19 2021)

man this is what the prudential center in newark should look like. the arena is nice but the seats are tight. if your over 5'9 you will be scruntched at the prudential center. same wit metlife stadium. seats should be comfortable in a modern arena with good leg space. congrats islander fans

@@joonalaisi6312 not for this show sadly, once i made it into the buying process a lot of it was just expensive resale for nosebleeds. i did end up getting tickets for the atlanta show though thanks for asking :D

This place is just amazing. Didn’t get to go last year cause of Covid but been twice this year. The home opener and last night, we lost twice but still had great time. Last night was in the dime club which is between sections 113-116. Just incredible. All you can eat and soft drinks. Just top notch. Place is gorgeous.
Got my vip floor tickets for TWICE but after seeing this video even seated tickets will be afforded a fantastic view!!

As an Islanders fan living in NJ (AKA Devils territory), I would gladly make the trip through NYC (via Penn Station) to check out this new arena for myself. I also wish the Islanders would step up their game this season and get back in contention for the 2021-22 playoffs.

can anyone with knowledge reply. im thinking of getting Floor 2/3/or 4. but 4, being "row 1 & 3" ($700-$1100). so is floor 4 closer, or floor 2 being "row 17" ($250) closer!?
its just confusing to see Floor 2 being further from the stage than Floor 4
& can i pay for row 3 & if i find an empty seat in row 1 i can sit there?

@@dat3rdsideboy386 not at all. They have it arranged very well so it’s organized. Ok, yes, it’s a little slow with everyone leaving at the same time. Maybe 10-15 minutes to get out. Still worth it. You’re in the comfort of your own car. The train-you walk a mile to the station and the train comes up with 6 cars already PACKED with rangers fans or some concert so you’re standing all the way to montauk
