Microtransactions in a full priced ($70) unlimited digital game is absolutely predatorial.
I assume you didn’t buy DmC4, DMC 5, Re, 7, 8, 2, 3, 4 or monster hunter then?

Waited 12 years to play the first DD1. Played on a PS5 and wasn’t impressed by the gameplay or the staggering frame rate. I can wait until this comes on a massive sale before trying it.

No one should want mtx in a single player game. We used to boycott predatory stuff like this, what the hell happened? Who the hell cares if you don’t “need” it? It’s a $70 game that didn’t even launch with the option to make a new goddamn save! The devs only just said they are working on adding that option… as if every game in history hasn’t had that by default.
“I haven’t had any issues” is also such a ridiculous statement to make. Moistcritical also tried the game and over 2 hours of crashes he only got to play it for 10 minutes. Watch his video if you don’t believe me. The point is there are obviously people who can play and people who can’t even start the game. That’s unacceptable.

Just the fact they hid the microtransactions from reviewers is a huge issue. Also i hear denuvo bans the account if u manually delete the save file.

Godawful opinion. Stop encouraging the worst devs to add more mtx. Just because you don’t need to buy them doesn’t mean the next game won’t have more intrusive stuff.
It's a single player game. Who in the hell cares about MTX, even if it's full blown pay to win (it seems more like pay for convenience)?? We used to have hardware devices like Gameshark or GameGenie, which hacked game memory to activate cheats in the game. People inherently like to get an advantage in their game, especially if they don't have a lot of time to spare. If this were an online game, I'd dislike the volume and types of MTX it has. But it's a single player RPG experience. Let people play it how they want to play it. Buy the stuff or earn it ingame, that's YOUR DECISION, people.
Or you can just use the Gameshark/GameGenie equivalent WeMod and do ALL that for free and not pay a single penny on microtransaction in a single player game.
The MTX doesn't bother me as all of it can be earned ingame without spending a penny. Its not look any of the MTX really mean anything as its a single player game. Your not playing against other players or anything so what the heck does it matter if someone wants to spend another $70 in MTX because they are dumb.
Now it would be a problem if any of this stuff was only accessable via MTX but since thats not the case its a moot point.
It ALWAYS starts with something "not that bad" for mtx. And it will ALWAYS get worse unless people make a stink over something "not that bad." You might be willing to ignore it, but ANY mtx in a single player RPG for basic features in ANY other RPG is predatory and worthy of boycott. It worked on battlefront 2 and it can work now. Do not lay down and accept this greed.
I would like to be able to edit my character whenever I want when I pay $70+ for my game, especially if it's singleplayer. That and the savefiles available. (But that's another subject.)

What? D4 ate sh1t over cosmetic shop/battle pass in their full priced game. MANY MANY game companies get sh1t on for the predatory practice.
Electronic Arts pretty much destroyed their own company by having microtransactions in a majority of their games.

I personally don’t have an issue with game companies giving people the option to buy extras in their games as long as the game itself is good…

this is so idiotic. an absolute imbecilic issue. None of the items are necessary to play the game. every item in the microstransaction list is available in game....all of this is just idiotic. Its as if automobile fans got angry with Mercedes Benz because they offer extra features, at extra cost, for their brand new super expensive model.....this is simply idiotic...
