i was waiting for you to say you put a bunch of conditioner in it then combed it out. thats like step one, this type of hair doesnt like oil it needs light moisture such as water and conditioner, then leave a little conditioner in it and let it air dry , that should help a lot.
Say it again!! Everybody know you don’t put oil on curly hair lol i used the argan coconut oil conditioner from Walgreens in the blue bottle and water! Curly hair does not last a lifetime if you dont sleep in a silk scarf or bonnet it will matt up from the texture of your pillow and heat (from laying for too long) you have to really take care of that hair.

Try silicone mix . Wet the hair put a shit load of silicone mix on it ... Put it in a zip block bag and boil some water ... Turn the water off then sit the bag in there and just let it sit . For like a week . hair too damn expensive to throw it out 😩

Girl I had this same problem with Mayvenn, I live to wear body wave "Brazilian" and when I wore their hair it started matting in the nape too , plus it wouldn't straighten for Sh!t, not to mention I had the hair in for not even a month and I used oils and all but it was so matted when I took it out the bundles wouldn't separate 😭 on life I swear it was synthetic..... Did I mention the first bundles they sent me didn't bleach right, I should've known something was fishy

I bought from them 3 times and i would like to say it is "okay" but never like how i wanted. I would see girls getting beauty supply store hair and their hair would be more silkier then mine. Their is barley shine... Id say it last for a week or two and then it starts fucking up. I honestly don't know why i continue to buy from Mayveen but i'm just nervous about other Hair Stores ripping me off or scamming me so that's why i'm looking now. I hate Kendra's hair boutique‼️ I paid almost $400 for curly hair and it literally lasted a week. It shed like a dog and then matted so bad to the point that I had to literally cut it out because I couldn't comb through it. I told them what was going on and they told me it was the product that I was using on the hair and that it was my fault and they blocked me on Instagram. 😡 I hate them so much
Curly hair in general, even if it it still on a person's head, has to be cared for in a very specific way. This means if you want nice curls all the time make sure you wash it all the time. NEVER comb it while it is dry because it will get fluffy and lose its curls. The best way to Comb curly hair is when it is wet. So for defined curls and to avoid matting make sure you are combing your hair often while it is wet. This is why we you see a majority of Spanish women putting loads of gel in their hair, it is to define the curls. There is nothing wrong with your hair, there may be something wrong however, with how you are caring for it :)
This is the EXACT experience I had with them. I used to buy the bundles because they were perfect and lasted for at least a year. However, this year I this very same experience. I paid $545 for a wig and it was JUST like the matted hair you posted. I contacted them, spoke with a girl named Ebony and she was rude. She told me to send her pictures, then said they don't sell hair like that. I told her that I had been a consistent customer and wouldn't make this up. We went back and forth then I contacted my bank to have my money reversed. They sold a fake product. The hair was definitely a synthetic mix and not what they described. I believe they send really good hair to the "celebrities" but send us garbage. Never again!

I purchased 3 bundles and a frontal (3x 20in &18 in) from Kendra's in June 2015. Bleached and dyed it twice in a row bc I had no idea of what I was doing. Finally gave up and dyed it black. Flat ironed it once using heat protectant. No products ever used except Olive Oil Sheen Spray. It is now January 9, 2019, and this hair is still in excellent condition as purchased. It took a while for the smell to go away tho. I just purchased an 18in body wave frontal from Tinashe Hair for $30!! I'm about to transfer the hair to a different cap and add Tanashe Hair frontal. Voilà! Brand new unit. lol
I ordered the Exotic Brazilian hair three bundles for my b-day. The hair was soooo nice when I put it in. A week later it was all dry and shedding like crazy. The hair look like trash pack hair u get from the beauty supply store. NEVER AGAIN!!! I had real virgin hair that last a year. This is not real virgin hair. My money was so wasted. I ordered straight hair from Kendra's boutique in Mar 2015 for me and my twin daughters. While they no longer wear their extensions, I still use my same bundles I ordered 2 years ago. It wasn't until summer 2016 I bleached the hair and I noticed that it takes more hair oil to moisturize but I had no business trying to dye hair before watching the pros on youtube do it first. My daughters now want curly hair for middle school. I appreciate you posting this video because I was considering ordering curly hair from Kendra's boutique since my last order lasted 2+ years (which is in my book is a good investment). After watching your video I'm going to watch more videos and do my research on other hair companies for their curly hair. the reason why the hair is matted is because all brazilian malaysian peruvian hair is coated with silicone..that's why it's smooth and beautiful when recieved. after few washes it start to matted and tangle...have my fear share of that and started my own research..I also have a Chinese friend who told me no matter which company you buy from you can never gurantee good because of how the hair source.

Then I took my sew in out and I washed the hair with anything you could name and it was still funky. I called them and they told me it's going to smell like that because it's cut off a humans head! LOL honestly the same thing happened to me. I bought 5 bundles. Had to return it 3 times and they never reimbursed me for my shipping when it was their mistake which was like $20. Their straight hair was ......Ok. But I could have went elsewhere with my $470 that I paid. 18, 22, 24, 24, 26. They were rude to me and I think it's so funny that when I called them for a whole day they were ignoring my call and the phone was busy. Called off of my friends phone and they answer....but overall the hair I give it a 7. Service was horrible they had attitudes made me feel like I was lying after she tried to convince me to keep the wrong length, after the fact that they forgot a bundle. NOT doing it again. I brought their hair too in February and I hated it! The bundles were very thin, I experience a lot of shedding and I wasn't feeling it. The hair did color good I wanted to color it because I wasn't in love with it and I thought maybe it will bring some life to it. But February 14th I installed it and March 22 I took it out and threw the hair away. Normally I'll keep my weave and reuse it because hair is very expensive but that hair went in the garbage so I totally agree with you. And I will NEVER order from this company again. I do feel like they give the IG girls the best bundles so everyone can buy the hair. I totally agree with you!

It was so bad I decided to cut it and use it as clip ins and it was still ugly. Mix a few drops of the argan oil with Silicon Mix and leave it on the hair for a few hours. That will restore it. For maintenance, put a mixture of argan oil, leave-in conditioner and water in a spray bottle.

Well I ordered 18,20,22 deep wave 2 installs no shed or matte or anything it was perfect for me 🤔 so maybe it's how you take care of it.. You do have to take care of your weave like it's your own.. Plus I just order natural straight & it's perfect to me. & the ends are excellent too. But hey that's my opinion I personally like kendras hair.
I got some hair from her once, three bundles of 30 inch and that mess shedded so bad it went from 30 inches to about 14-16 inches from shedding so bad. I tell people all the time, never but form Kendra! It's a mess!!

I AGREE, KENDRA HAIR IS A HOT MESS!!! My daughter and I ordered their closures at different times, shipped to two different states. She ordered the lace frontal in June 2016, shed like super crazy, she was only able to wear it for a month because it became too thin. I ordered the silk closure body wave in August 2016. There was not a wave in the hair no where, the roots were very thick with short hairs throughout, It looked like Alfalfa and it thinned out towards the ends of the hair. I have shedding and when I wash it, it mats up at the roots. We both left reviews on their website but they were deleted. My daughter reviewed on instagram and she was blocked. STAY AWAY THIS HAIR IS NOT AN INVESTMENT BUT A RIP OFF!!!!
The problem is you put all that oil in it. The hair still looks good. Wash it with Creme of Nature Detangling shampoo and conditioner, let it sit dry. Put biosilk on it while wet as well. Keeps it from tangling. Now in the mornings every 2-3 days you're going to have to wet it with a wig brush and brush it out. put biosilk in it while wet and let it air dry. Biosilk is a hair reconstructer. It works on the hair all day. Keeps it soft bouncy and tangle free. With curly hair you can't put all those oils in it. You just getting a product build up and it's making the hair unmanageable
Don't sleep on pack hair. I've worked miracles with it and saved some coins. Also, after doing some research I found that some of the companies own both the brands in the stores and the big vendor brands.

Girl I had this same problem with Mayvenn, I live to wear body wave "Brazilian" and when I wore their hair it started matting in the nape too , plus it wouldn't straighten for Sh!t, not to mention I had the hair in for not even a month and I used oils and all but it was so matted when I took it out the bundles wouldn't separate 😭 on life I swear it was synthetic.....

I bought from them 3 times and i would like to say it is "okay" but never like how i wanted. I would see girls getting beauty supply store hair and their hair would be more silkier then mine. Their is barley shine... Id say it last for a week or two and then it starts fucking up. I hate Kendra's hair boutique‼️ I paid almost $400 for curly hair and it literally lasted a week. It shed like a dog and then matted so bad to the point that I had to literally cut it out because I couldn't comb through it. I told them what was going on and they told me it was the product that I was using on the hair and that it was my fault and they blocked me on Instagram. 😡 I hate them so much
Curly hair in general, even if it it still on a person's head, has to be cared for in a very specific way. This means if you want nice curls all the time make sure you wash it all the time. NEVER comb it while it is dry because it will get fluffy and lose its curls. The best way to Comb curly hair is when it is wet. So for defined curls and to avoid matting make sure you are combing your hair often while it is wet. This is why we you see a majority of Spanish women putting loads of gel in their hair, it is to define the curls. There is nothing wrong with your hair, there may be something wrong however, with how you are caring for it :)

This is the EXACT experience I had with them. I used to buy the bundles because they were perfect and lasted for at least a year. However, this year I this very same experience. I paid $545 for a wig and it was JUST like the matted hair you posted. I contacted them, spoke with a girl named Ebony and she was rude. She told me to send her pictures, then said they don't sell hair like that. I told her that I had been a consistent customer and wouldn't make this up. We went back and forth then I contacted my bank to have my money reversed. They sold a fake product. The hair was definitely a synthetic mix and not what they described. I believe they send really good hair to the "celebrities" but send us garbage. Never again!

I purchased 3 bundles and a frontal (3x 20in &18 in) from Kendra's in June 2015.
Bleached and dyed it twice in a row bc I had no idea of what I was doing. Finally gave up and dyed it black. Flat ironed it once using heat protectant. No products ever used except Olive Oil Sheen Spray. It is now January 9, 2019, and this hair is still in excellent condition as purchased. It took a while for the smell to go away tho. I just purchased an 18in body wave frontal from Tinashe Hair for $30!!

I ordered the Exotic Brazilian hair three bundles for my b-day. The hair was soooo nice when I put it in. A week later it was all dry and shedding like crazy. The hair look like trash pack hair u get from the beauty supply store. NEVER AGAIN!!! I had real virgin hair that last a year. This is not real virgin hair. My money was so wasted. Her fake hair site needs to be shut down.

While I am not a weave queen/princess nor do I work for Kendra's Boutique, that really sucks what happened to you with the curly hair you purchased. I appreciate you sharing your story. I ordered straight hair from Kendra's boutique in Mar 2015 for me and my twin daughters. While they no longer wear their extensions, I still use my same bundles I ordered 2 years ago. It wasn't until summer 2016 I bleached the hair and I noticed that it takes more hair oil to moisturize but I had no business trying to dye hair before watching the pros on youtube do it first. My daughters now want curly hair for middle school. I appreciate you posting this video because I was considering ordering curly hair from Kendra's boutique since my last order lasted 2+ years (which is in my book is a good investment). After watching your video I'm going to watch more videos and do my research on other hair companies for their curly hair. the reason why the hair is matted is because all brazilian malaysian peruvian hair is coated with silicone..that's why it's smooth and beautiful when recieved. after few washes it start to matted and tangle...have my fear share of that and started my own research..I also have a Chinese friend who told me no matter which company you buy from you can never gurantee good because of how the hair source.

LOL honestly the same thing happened to me. I bought 5 bundles. Had to return it 3 times and they never reimbursed me for my shipping when it was their mistake which was like $20. Their straight hair was ......Ok. But I could have went elsewhere with my $470 that I paid. 18, 22, 24, 24, 26. They were rude to me and I think it's so funny that when I called them for a whole day they were ignoring my call and the phone was busy. Called off of my friends phone and they answer....but overall the hair I give it a 7. Service was horrible they had attitudes made me feel like I was lying after she tried to convince me to keep the wrong length, after the fact that they forgot a bundle. NOT doing it again. So I can relate to your experience. I'm also doing a review soon to share my experience as well.

I brought their hair too in February and I hated it! The bundles were very thin, I experience a lot of shedding and I wasn't feeling it. The hair did color good I wanted to color it because I wasn't in love with it and I thought maybe it will bring some life to it. But February 14th I installed it and March 22 I took it out and threw the hair away. Normally I'll keep my weave and reuse it because hair is very expensive but that hair went in the garbage so I totally agree with you. And I will NEVER order from this company again. Mix a few drops of the argan oil with Silicon Mix and leave it on the hair for a few hours. That will restore it. For maintenance, put a mixture of argan oil, leave-in conditioner and water in a spray bottle.

Well I ordered 18,20,22 deep wave 2 installs no shed or matte or anything it was perfect for me 🤔 so maybe it's how you take care of it.. You do have to take care of your weave like it's your own.. Plus I just order natural straight & it's perfect to me. & the ends are excellent too. But hey that's my opinion I personally like kendras hair.

I AGREE, KENDRA HAIR IS A HOT MESS!!! My daughter and I ordered their closures at different times, shipped to two different states. She ordered the lace frontal in June 2016, shed like super crazy, she was only able to wear it for a month because it became too thin. I ordered the silk closure body wave in August 2016. There was not a wave in the hair no where, the roots were very thick with short hairs throughout, It looked like Alfalfa and it thinned out towards the ends of the hair. I have shedding and when I wash it, it mats up at the roots. We both left reviews on their website but they were deleted. My daughter reviewed on instagram and she was blocked. STAY AWAY THIS HAIR IS NOT AN INVESTMENT BUT A RIP OFF!!!!

The problem is you put all that oil in it. The hair still looks good. Wash it with Creme of Nature Detangling shampoo and conditioner, let it sit dry. Put biosilk on it while wet as well. Keeps it from tangling. Now in the mornings every 2-3 days you're going to have to wet it with a wig brush and brush it out. put biosilk in it while wet and let it air dry. Biosilk is a hair reconstructer. It works on the hair all day. Keeps it soft bouncy and tangle free. With curly hair you can't put all those oils in it. You just getting a product build up and it's making the hair unmanageable
