Freeza's second form actually looks a lot like the demon on the album cover for Kreator's Pleasure To Kill. The picture at 14:45 even has him positioned in what is almost the exact same pose that the demon is in on that album's cover art.
Here's something to think about: Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta when Goku was a toddler, meaning that when they first fight, Frieza is at the very least 30 years **older** than Goku. If you take into account the seven years after the Cell Saga, then Frieza is (yet again) at the very *least* in his 70's since Goku is around his mid 40s during Super.

Actually in the original Japanese, Freeza does mention his 両親 (Ryoushin) which means “both parents” when he’s on Namek. It’s definitely means “both” because the first kanji 両 (Ryou) means...both.

両親 is a Japanese word for parents which includes both parents. The kanji 両 conveys the meaning of both,pair,couple,etc. If Freeza used this word then he is referring to a pair of people as opposed to a 母(mother),父(father),片親(mother or father). If he used the last word then he could have in fact been referring to a singular parent. My point is that Japanese does have a word for the plural of parents and if he used this word, it implies that he has at least two parents or that Toriyama later decided that he wanted Freeza's origins to be different and so retracted previous information.

I was always under the assumption that King Cold ran the Empire. And Freiza is just a special commander. Freiza is more than likely occupied with organizing the armies and such. while King Cold probably handles the business end, and the making money aspect. I also think King Cold is probably stronger than Freiza, but in generally is more hands off and strategic. His strategy to try to beat Trunks was to try to outsmart him.
King Cold is also much more willing to engage in diplomacy. He is still a sociopath, but not as much of one as Frieza, or maybe as you have said more strategic with it.

That's a useless theory. Everyone knows that he's in his 1st form to suppress his power, and that there was no need for him to transform, since no one was nearly as strong as him in his suppressed form.
Well it was rather he took it as an agreeable request by Beerus because it's not like those fears he had weren't still there. So Frieza's grandfather was basically Broly in terms of freak genetics? One of the reasons I state that Frieza is very old comes from the fact we see him in DB Minus, and he doesn't seem any younger. Frieza must be in his 50s minimum, and Cold in his 70s minimum, yet neither seem old. So they should have rather long lifespans
Fun fact: In the Maylasian dub for DBZ: Cooler’s Revenge, they give the name Glaeris for Frieza’s race. Glaeris is a pun on the word Glacier. This may be non-canonical, but it is better than saying Frieza Race so I’ll take it. I guess everyone around the globe pronounces differently on the ones we're familiar with. Normally in English, it pronounces "Say-an" while in Japanese pronounces "Sigh-a-jin".
The reason why Frieza is so powerful is because he's a mutant who was born with a power level of 1 million. It's speculated that most members of Frieza's race are nowhere near as powerful as he is. Also, Lord Beerus is noticeably shocked when he finds out somebody else managed to kill him. So I believe that it is possible for Frieza to jump that gap with golden form. He simply had no motivation to do so until after his death.

Jin is NOT part of the word if you watch it subed the subtitles say saiyan, jin is just the prefix.

両親 is a Japanese word for parents which includes both parents. The kanji 両 conveys the meaning of both,pair,couple,etc. If Freeza used this word then he is referring to a pair of people as opposed to a 母(mother),父(father),片親(mother or father). If he used the last word then he could have in fact been referring to a singular parent. My point is that Japanese does have a word for the plural of parents and if he used this word, it implies that he has at least two parents or that Toriyama later decided that he wanted Freeza's origins to be different and so retracted previous information.

I was always under the assumption that King Cold ran the Empire. And Freiza is just a special commander. Freiza is more than likely occupied with organizing the armies and such. while King Cold probably handles the business end, and the making money aspect.
I also think King Cold is probably stronger than Freiza, but in generally is more hands off and strategic. His strategy to try to beat Trunks was to try to outsmart him.
King Cold is also much more willing to engage in diplomacy.
He is still a sociopath, but not as much of one as Frieza, or maybe as you have said more strategic with it.

King Cold does have greater power than Frieza in my eyes, however unlike him cannot control his true power in that form. * Frieza's stunningly high power is the result of eugenics. His family has bred the strongest of their kind, and Frieza is the result

Also, Lord Beerus is noticeably shocked when he finds out somebody else managed to kill him. So I believe that it is possible for Frieza to jump that gap with golden form. He simply had no motivation to do so until after his death.

It is a direct translation and application of the nuance in the word 'saya-jin', that being the '-jin' suffix, which is the equivalent of the English usage of 'an'/'ese' suffixes to describe people of other countries. For example; American = Amerika-jin, Japanese = Nihon-jin'

No amount of strongarming a non-existant rule that states it must be 'saya-jin' with absolutely no brainpower going into what the suffix even implies will change that, bud. They say Say-yan on the show, and they always have. even if it's incorrect, it's been adopted as correct by the anime. So when you talk about the anime, Say-yan is correct.
i think people just sound dickish when people pronounce one thing one way, (like people using correct accents for foreign words), and then other words another way, (like other foreign words being pronounced in your language's accents).
So if you're going to say "Sigh-yan", you'd may as well say every single word that originates from Japan (or whatever country) in it's original pronunciation, every single time. even then, you'd still sound like a dick.
