Got an appendix holster based on your Big Guy Holster recommendations. First one that fit me great and was actually comfortable and concealable. Great EDC recommendations! I use a groove belt. It stretches left to right for bending/ working or after a large lunch 😉 And it doesn't fold over like an apple turnover due to my tactical muffin top. Great video guys!
That amount of stretch doesn’t cause your pants to sag or anything? I have a similar belt (knock off) and it does decent at holding my pants up but I can’t carry with it.
@@dillbill2A the groove belt does not cause sag for me even eith the stretch. I carry a small p365 with 12 rounds. It really only stretches when i bend which is nice, but it still let's me cinch it down and keeps my pistol in its spot comfortably. Not sure if your rig is bigger/ heavier, but the groove belt and p365 combo work fantastic for me!

Lincoln outfitters at rural king make great pants as well they have a lot of quality and a lot of the same pockets as vertex ive had mine for about a year now and so far they are holding up very well

Just bought a Glock 43X to be my new carry. First Glock I've ever owned, I've always wanted one since I was a kid whenever I first had interest in firearms. I'm relatively slim frame, don't have too big of hands and the 43X fits my hands pretty well and it's nice shooting. You both have given me some awesome ideas for my EDC, great recommendations. Did the same thing with my Glock 30 with the Xcarry adapter it does 2 things 1st better grip like you explained. 2ed it bumped up the capacity on it from a lowly 10+1 to 14+1 in my opinion that’s a big deal. Especially for a 45acp carry gun but I ran into hard times and had to let the 30 go. Ended up switching over to the Walther PPQ M1 9mm and I love it

Funny you mention a 26X; configure mine the same. But check this out Josh & Josh. After fiendin' for a couple years...FINALLY in the process of adding a 45 ACP Glock to put in the 26, 19 and 19X rotation ... calling it a Glock 30X (13-round mag; standard EDC load). So recently scooped up a Glock 30S.😉 The 30X plan? Fits my G19 and some G26 holsters; all set there. Talon Grips & Inforce APLc delivered; Glock night sights, Slide Spider, 13 Round Magazines with X-Grips, and Tungsten Guide Rod enroute. Yeah, baby! I feel a sweet shooter coming on.
I EDC a TruSpec Cobra belt, Northwest Trail flip knife for work, a 1942 Ka-Bar fixed blade for my defensive knife, Olight I5T EOS pocket flashlight and Olight I1R Eos keychain flashlight, and a Canik TP9SA Mod 2 in a Pegasus holster (because I haven't been able to find a sidecar for it, and haven't gotten around to making my own yet) with a spare magazine in my pocket. My tournaquet is on my plate carrier, which is always in my vehicle with me. I need to grab another one to carry on my person at all times too though. I also wear TruSpec and 511 pants. I do like Glock, I just haven't gotten another one yet. Sold my 27 a while back, and I've been working on a Polymer80 PF940C build for a little while now. My MK18 build has kinda taken priority lately, so it got put on the back burner for a while. It will be my EDC once it is finished though. And if the ATF doesn't like it, they can fuck off too! ✋🦶🐍🇺🇸
I carry a Taurus g3 in a kydex holster a Spyderco yojimbo 2 a small but extremely bright olight a pineapple burts bees chapstick and ofc my wooden beard comb to look presentable for the ladies
Blue Alpha gear good stuff, I have two(one black and coyote brown). Also use a Kore Essentials leather belt for work and I'll carry either my Glock 27 with Glock 23 mags or my lovely Zastava M88a depending how I feel that day

My secondary is a Kershaw brawler ... again not the best thing in the world, but good for the money. Hoping to do a video on the ABTK knife I have that I took into the Gulf of Mexico several times with my grandson...on how to take it apart and get all the rust off it, etc.

Now I understand there are people that are big Glock fans and believe that they are the greatest gun ever designed by man or God. AND THATS OK…The funny part about that is a lot of those people are also the ones that modify the hell out of their Glocks. Glock‘s slogan is “perfection“… right after you put in a aftermarket barrel, trigger, mag, grip, whatever… I honestly would’ve been really surprised if you said something like “I carry a Smith and Wesson bodyguard“ or “I carry a Springfield micro 45” or “I carry a PSA dagger” Those would’ve been “surprising“. As you can tell from my comment I don’t carry a Glock as a edc. I also don’t own any Glocks. Not to say that I will never own a Glock. But if I did I definitely would not carry it every day for self-defense. And the number one reason is… Expense! Glocks are expensive. The Glock 26 that you described carrying is a modified Glock which means you had to take two Glocks to make one Glock. 💰 First off ,I don’t wanna carry a plus $600 gun. Every day. Where in tear is a son of a bitch and you will devalue that weapon quickly. Second off, The price of the gun itself can become a prohibitive factor to some. I have A.R. 15 builds that are in the $600 range. $600 for a carry gun to me , teeters on becoming excessive. Third off, and the number one reason I do not carry a Glock (plus $600 gun) as a every day carry weapon is because ( in the state of Florida where I live) if you were involved in a shooting( self-defense or otherwise) Or your weapon is involved in a crime or what is considered a crime. The police can confiscate your weapon for as long as they deem it necessary. Now most people wouldn’t have to worry about stuff like this, but something like this did happen to me about… 15 years ago. Long story short, never trust anyone. I had a “friend” or that manage to steal a handgun from me ,as soon as I found out I filed a police report supplied pictures and serial numbers (because I have pictures and serial numbers of all my guns). That person was later arrested for a separate crime, he sold my gun to someone else who ended up using it in a robbery. That person was eventually caught and My gun was recovered. I received phone calls from the detectives letting me know this. They told me that my gun was going to be ballistics tested and then they would release it to me. After waiting for three years! I finally got answers from the state about what happened to my weapon. THEY DESTROYED IT ! Luckily that handgun was a fairly inexpensive knock off 45 that I bought for roughly $200 brand new. Now could you imagine if that was a customized $600 Glock.🤔 pissed off would not even begin to describe it. I know this is a long comment. But all I am saying is there are plenty of handguns that are as good as a Glock for a lot less money. So if you’re going to use the word “surprised” by the particular model of handgun that you carry. I guess it should be “surprising“🤷♂️. Sorry for the rant… No hard feelings. Just my opinion

I don’t see how being called a “fanboy” is a bad thing. It’s probably rare for anyone with a little extra money to spend to not be a fan of a brand of something. I love Heinz ketchup, Vans shoes, Glock pews and Dairy Queen. The “boy” may be a little derogatory but the “fan” part is true. My money goes where I want it to. Just like everyone else.

I EDC an HK VP9 or VP9SK. I have no problem with Glocks, I just prefer my version of tupperware.
