In every corner of the world is someone saying we should build no housing because a school hasn't been built yet..
Voice of America not africa.
😂
Overpopulation and overbuilding will destroy Nairobi. Vote for smart people next time.
It's NOT about the Chinese so much as it's about putting up multiple homes in a neighborhood that isn't planned for these much homes. If city authorities can put curruption aside and strictly control the development of multiple homes in the same area, the area may still remain livable for long time residents of the neighborhood.
However, if the area is turned into a concrete jungle just like any other concrete jungles in big cities worldwide, then it'll disqualify the whole purpose of living in a high rise building if you have no scenic view, ether from a low rise or high rise home. In addition, the required infrastructure required to accompany the number of homes are non existent
Let them build homes , I don't see any problem 😂😂😂😂
Supply and Demand people..lets keep up.
And how did that work in China? They now have oversupply
That's unfortunate but guess what? There's demand in kenya now and they are making the most of it. Demand dictates the market.
If it get to oversupply we will cross that bridge when we get there. For now, there's need for more housing.
@@magdalinenjeri5262 for sure! I’m not saying to halt all construction but the Kenyan government needs to closely regulate construction and supporting services. Else, Chinese companies will build like crazy for cheap to make a quick buck to the point that the real estate market plummets. That is happening in china right now
@@deemanDavid s o cheap homes for Kenyan's is bad how??
@@TheTroyc1982 yeah if they fall apart and dont have proper sewage drainage it is far worse.
She has somewhat of a point but at the same time some development is better than no development
But they need more power plants, hospitals, fire departments, police departments, sewage, waste facilities and schools and universities. That’s very important infrastructure and development
The governor has a case against this lady and she is still going on
Go to court.
For City Mayor, vote Miguna Miguna.
Sei voted in this pple why cry wolf?
Biggest lier
Talking nonsense again
Blah blah blah dont come to us begging you voted for the current govt
The government is not the problem, Even in previous regimes,Chinese developers still developed.
let them build.you voted in the current govt
and previous ones.dont complain, enjoy chinese efficiency
Horrendous US propaganda
Lol USA, a rich country that can’t build enough homes for its working class is complaining that homes are being built in Nairobi by Chinese companies 😂
