"Mass Effect is a science fiction media franchise created by Preston Watamaniuk, Drew Karpyshyn and Casey Hudson and owned by Electronic Arts. The first entry in the series is a third-person role-playing shooter video game developed by BioWare (subsequently acquired by EA) and was initially released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Microsoft Windows (the third installment in the series was additionally released on the Wii U). A fourth game was released on Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in March 2017. The original trilogy largely revolves around a space navy soldier named Commander Shepard, whose mission is to save the galaxy from a race of powerful mechanical beings known as the Reapers and their agents, including the first game's antagonist Saren Arterius. The first game, released in 2007, sees Shepard investigating Saren, whom Shepard slowly comes to understand is operating under the guidance of Sovereign, a Reaper left behind in the Milky Way 50,000 years before, when the Reapers exterminated all sentient organic life determined to have met or exceeded a threshold of technological advancement in the galaxy as part of a recurrent cycle of genocide for an unknown purpose. Sovereign's purpose is to trigger the imminent return of the Reaper fleet hibernating in extra-galactic space, restarting the process of extermination. The second game takes place two years later and sees Shepard battling the Collectors, an alien race abducting entire human colonies in a scheme to aid the Reapers' return to the Milky Way. The final game of Shepard's trilogy centers on the war being waged against the Reapers. The fourth installment takes place in the Andromeda Galaxy and features a new cast of characters. The development of a fifth installment was announced on December 10, 2020 via a trailer released during the 2020 Game Awards as well as an official post on the Bioware blog. The original trilogy was met with commercial success as well as universal acclaim. The series is highly regarded for its narrative, character development, voice acting, the universe, and emphasis on player choice affecting the experience. Mass Effect Legendary Edition is a compilation of the video games in the Mass Effect trilogy: Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3. It is being developed by BioWare with assistance from Abstraction Games and Blind Squirrel Games, and published by Electronic Arts. All three games were remastered, with visual enhancements, technical improvements, and gameplay adjustments. Mass Effect, the first game of the trilogy, has received more extensive upgrades than its counterparts, specifically with regard to combat mechanics, vehicle handling, and loading times." (Wikipedia)

I hope they make a mass effect 0 prequel, with first contact war, skilian blitz, and captain Anderson's mission with saren detailed in the mass effect novel.
A mission as javik would be cool too, detailing the prothean war vs the reapers leading up to his cryo sleep. Or even one's from the cerperus perspective, maybe even going over Miranda's and Jacob's history (especially as Jacob left the alliance) that could be interesting. Or missions focused the geth quarian civil war resulting in the quarian displacement (ideally from legions perspective as he was there back then).
There's a lot of potential for the mass effect franchise to build off (assuming they do the logical thing an announce Andromeda as non-canon).

There's something incredibly eerie about this shot in the video. No pedestrians, no cars travelling, just the fountains running and the sky projection going. Especially unsettling with the music at 26:13.

not gonna lie this is the stuff you listen to when your in the future, your parents are well off, you got big furniture and huge tv with your room upstairs, you play this on a early Saturday, your planning your studies for the day, advanced classes.

Andromeda had potential, but it tried too hard to break new ground and ended up getting rushed
It has its moments and it was probably redeemable if we got the DLCs.
But they were screwed from the leadership of Bioware/EA. The last good games that they published was BF1/Titanfall 2 but that was the beginning of the end, because what happened to TF2....it hasn't been the same since.
You can just keep playing mass effect 1, you know.

They really shat all over this series with a botched ME3 ending and Andromeda.
Still, fantastic trilogy. Firmly up there with (or even above) Dragon Age.
Bioware really can build a world and likeable characters.
