Was coming here to say exactly this, how it was the most useless tactic EVER.
I guess it does make sense early on (especially if you go second) if it’s clear which drink was moved, because then that eliminates a possibility for a spot, but as more drinks are moved and more spots used it becomes less and less relevant. And all this relies on being able to tell which drink was moved last as well

@@emmamccollom8113 In 2017 (I think it was that year), Moonlight and La La Land were up for best picture at the Oscars. There was a card mix up and the announcer said that La La Land won. The whole cast and crew got on stage and were emotional but then they realized that he just had the wrong card and Moonlight actually one. I hope that helps!
