As a licensed therapist the talk around narcissism aggravates my nerves. What people are describing is just selfishness and arrogance. Not actually the personality disorder!! But in regards to relationships as you ladies so elegantly put it. It comes down to a heart issue. I love that you all reflect Christ. He is the first one who loved us. He is the author of what love is. Without Him as your foundation "love" will continue to be fickle and surface.

Lol I am only 27, twice married and now on my second divorce process with a 7 and 4 year old, abandoned and traumatized in CA away from all friends and family on the East Coast now for a year and a half (being unable to leave due to legal proceedings, being originally brought here on military orders in 2020 but ex service member spouse left us here 2021). You all are SPOT ON without having to go through these horrible experiences about how men will marry for pure benefit and how many of us as a “Christian feminine fool” will EAT up the facade of “but I’ve got a ring, I’m being “provided for”, and I’m not shaking up!”…I’ve never seen a healthy relationship, never had a father figure, or any positive male figures all my life due to the system. All I had was the church saying what was “right and wrong” to God once you become sexually metamorphic (13,14). Having to go through another marital undoing with another spiteful, controlling and evil hearted misogynist is unfortunate for myself and my children, but your mentioning hope just gave me the strength to go though these unrepresented court proceedings, while the other side continues to hire counsel but leaves us financially despaired. I am also disabled, which as you all stated, will mean nothing at the end of the day when the heart posture of your foreseen “partner” was being cannabalized by all the hidden skeletons in the closet that should have been surrendered to the Most High prior to a DIVINE union. I so deeply wish I would have had you all as a resource long, long ago, especially due to every woman in my life not being able to advise me of any better, as they too had no better and ofc didn’t want anyone to “upstage” their lapsed potential. I pray you all reach MASSES of young women of color such as myself, because these topics are SO SO needed in order to not only continue to survive these spiritually war-fared times but to continue with courage to keep growing and glowing. Love you both so much, I wish you nothing but the BEST. 💌

Yall were preaching today! i unsubscribed to aa lot of relationship accounts on social media because they were being so negative. this video has made me look at things in a different perspective and i have hope that i will find my person and now i have to think about the way i will show up in relationships. i've been single for three years and im scared to date lol
