The original melody remembers me to my father "El Cóndor Pasa" (pronounced [el ˈkondoɾ pasa], Spanish for "The Condor Passes") The original is a musical piece from the zarzuela El Cóndor Pasa written by the Peruvian composer Daniel Alomía Robles (From Huanuco-Peru, place where my father was born too)
It was written in 1913 and based on traditional Andean music, specifically folk music from Peru.
