Yeah, its really refreshing to hear someone play this on piano without trying to imitate orchestra (which is impossible), but rather play the music with respect to piano, without too much "pounding" of piano. Tis very nice performence, love it :)
exactly, orchestra is never the same as piano, something is everytime added to it. some harmonies which doesnt really work...but pure piano is best, pure melody....i am pianist so i must love piano :-)
I guess Im asking randomly but does anyone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb lost the password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
Thoroughly enjoyable. A useful reminder to us that the four-hands version was Dvorak's original and he then orchestrated it. I find it fully convincing in both formats, but greatly helped by an expert performance as here. Real toe-tapping stuff!
I agree with the comments below. Two people, especially two people closely attuned to each other, can produce a kind of flexible intimacy missing in orchestral performances. The only thing better than listening to these is playing them! BTW, the order is different in in my edition.
The best piano version of Slavonic Dances on youtube actually.....
+Tomáš Rada Totally agree
Unlike some ponderous performances in orchestrated versions, these two make the music *DANCE*.
