R.I.P Brooks. I will cherish all the memories you have supplied us with over the years. It was a pleasure meeting you multiple times over the years. Are great baseball player and an even better man. Aint the beer cold. Love ya brooks!
My childhood died a bit on September 26, 2023..... Godspeed Brooksie, you have been, are and always will be my baseball hero. They say never meet your heroes, you'll be disappointed. Well I met mine years after he retired, he didn't disappoint. He was everything a boyhood hero should be. As great a third baseman as he was, Brooks was a better human being.

DITTO - to everything you said in your lovely tribute to a Class Act.. Brooks Robinson.
My first son was going to be Brooks Robinson Merchant. Had two girls. Brooks and Willie were my two favorites✌️❤️
Terrific tribute, Roy. Found this after listening to you on the Lost Ballparks podcast. Miss the shows you did on ESPN.
I was born after Brooks's playing career ended, but I grew up admiring him. He's my hero. If I ever have a son, I would like to name him Brooks.
No one has played as many games as Brooks without being thrown out of a game.
