    very cool product! I like it very much
    recommended your project to all my friends
    Well done development team
    please add the option so that in the dark theme the colors of the palette and coloring of the diagram blocks remain the same as in the light theme
    add the ability to change the default font size for all shapes from 12 to 14
    p.s. google translate, RUS

      Hello! We're thrilled that you're enjoying draw.io! 😊 Unfortunately, adjusting the colors of the palette isn't possible due to the nature of the dark/light mode switch. As for default font size, you can set the default font on a per-shape basis using the "Set as Default Style" button! For more details, check out this link: github.com/jgraph/drawio/discussions/3312
      We absolutely value your feedback and welcome suggestions for new features. Feel free to share your thoughts on our feature request page here: github.com/jgraph/drawio/issues 🚀

    Thank you both for this informative tutorial. I am a new user and love the content, so I subscribed immediately. One question I have is when I try to modify an existing shape with another one, is there any way to have the text content added to the new shape, or do I have to type again all what was in the old shape?

    • @drawioapp
      @drawioapp  Год назад +1

      Hi there! Yes, it is possible to keep the same text within a shape when changing it to a new one! Simply drag a shape from the shape library to the left over the existing shape, and drop once you see the blue cyclical arrows. Another way to do the same thing, is to select the shape you'd like to replace, hold shift, and click a shape from the left column. Either of these routes will replace the old shape with the new one, while keeping the text inside the shape!

    Is it possible to reverse the direction of the arrows instead of going outward to go inward?

    • @drawioapp
      @drawioapp  11 месяцев назад +1

      hi there! yes, this is absolutely possible. now there a few ways you can go about this, depending on your end-goal:
      1. select the connector(s) you want reversed, and under the 'Arrange' tab in the right column, select 'Reverse'. to select all collectors in the diagram, right click on the canvas and select 'Select Edges'. this will be the method you'll follow for connectors you've applied 'Flow Animation' to and are wanting reversed, as the flow direction depends on the connector origin point and termination point (when you drag-and-drop).
      2. swap the line end and line start arrow head/symbol. as you know, when you connect one shape to another, the beginning of the connector will have no arrow, and the end will. to swap them so the connector appears reversed, first click the connector(s), and navigate under the 'Style' tab at the right. find the line stroke size field (white box with "1 pt" and arrows), and UNDER THAT you will find two drop downs. click the left drop down, and select an arrow head- this is your Line start. then remove the arrow at Line end: click the right drop down and select 'None'. now, when you drag from shape A to shape B, the arrow will be pointing to shape A. then, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, to make this the DEFAULT, simply select one connector you've edited to your liking, and under the 'Style' tab in the right column, click the 'Set as Default Style' button. now each connector you create will appear reversed!!
      I hope this was helpful! I tried to make it as least confusing sounding as possible 😆 if this still didn't answer your question, no worries! here are a few resources I've gathered you might find helpful:

    Hello there! I love the existing infographics but how do I customise the element- i.e. add another step or stage?

    • @drawioapp
      @drawioapp  Год назад

      Hi Nicola. Of course you can always modify existing diagrams and make them your own. You have multiple options, you can even safe your extended diagram as a future template. From your comment we can't quite tell in which direction you like to head exactly. Feel free to contact us and specify your idea, we will help you succeed (marketing@drawio-app.com).

      Hi Paul. The "Move selections to…" button has moved and can now be found behind the three vertical dots in the layer panel. You can activate it via Menu > View > Layers.

    how do i change the default size of a custom library shape dragged onto the editor?

    • @drawioapp
      @drawioapp  3 года назад

      Hi Neal! You need to adjust the size according to your needs and then add it to your custom shape library once again to have a new default size. You can always modify it once you dragged it onto your workspace but I guess you like to make adjustments in the library already, correct?
