I'm loving this! To answer your question, YES. Although, it seemed to happen in series'. My mind was all over the place at work and I was given an ultimatum, focus on work or pursue my dream. I chose the later and moved state.. Unfortunately..(maybe/maybe not!?) that didn't work and I ended up moving back to my original state where I landed an amazing job, met a girl, bought a house and new car, then sold it all to move states and travel for 12 months. We started all once we got back, landed another but hit a fork in the road..we split up, I turned to alcohol and have been through hell since with nothing to show but the memories. I've been in and out rehabilitation for 2 years on and off and always looking for that next opportnitistic thing to come along.. Keep it up Stephen, I'm sure you are helping people than you realise!! You're talking about accidents. Accidents are irrelevant for regulating your emotions. I could equally easily invent a scenario closer to your own where the hapless fellow never meets any future wife - though he might have done so if he had gotten the job at Grocer M.
