The girl dancing, Shraddha Kapoor, is actually not a dancer. She had to really push herself to train and reach a level where she isn't lagging behind the rest of the cast, who are actually some of the most famous dancers and choreographers in India.
She is ❤️

In India Disney is not like in the west.. it's not just for kids .. it has an array of investments in independent and new niche creative movies all over India. There is no vibe of kids movies with Disney in India it's quite open to all formats.

This is not really a musical but a movie based on the journey of an Indian dance crew. I think it's about Kings United or Desi Hoppers, I'm not sure. They both participated in competitions on an international level. Kings United won in 2019 and Desi Hopppers in 2015. That's why the dancing is more contemporary and western.
And the scene's situated on a dock.
This song is a friends to lovers situation. Pretty sure this is 13+ at the minimum.
It is actually about Fictitious Dance academy who won a show in Las vegas. And the one who headed was Suresh who also was the head of kings United and they won the world dance championship.
All you said is correct except that this movie is not inspired by neither kings United nor desi hoppers because both the group ran for World of dance and won it in their respective years. This movie is based on the crew King's United and v company whnen they together went for the world Hiphop championship and secure the third place

This song is popular because of the song and the lady’s beauty. The dance is a distant 3rd. Other songs from this movie have better dancing and more ….dance elements and equally good songs? Vande Mataram, Hey Ganaraya AND Bezubaan in ABCD 1 AND 2. Personally I like the bezuban part 1 better than the 2.

In India, Disney is just like any other productions. Stereotyped or trademarks of Disney's doesn't really followed here. This isn't that type of movie you're imagining about. It's a dance movie based on the real story of Indian dancers. And it's not for kids but for all ages I'd say.
No one is explaining about the situation of this dance. If you watch properly the girl demands some one to join her for a dance because she wants to have some more practice.... it means three of them don't know what to do step by step.... You can see the domino effect in which one follows the other.The girl seems more professional because that scene is for her in which she will dance and other will follow by instincts. They are not bad but the best dancer's.... This is the story of the movie.But yes we can say that this songs can be used for stage performance for the film.
Disney is india is different than in west. Its more open to all ages and not just kids

okay that was interesting to listen to your perspective about the choreography because initially the choreographer was praised for this piece . Personally I like the choreo with the song but it's okay everyone has different opinion.
What i like about your channel is i always feel your reactions are genuine..they are indeed very honest..i always cringed at this choreography because the actress here is not known for her dancing so i wasn't sure why she was casted second like you said the music and choreography don't go along..i sorta cringed..but you tried to put it nicely without seeming rude or negative..keep going and enjoy

India is pretty vast mate, India is not just classical music & classical dance. its 1.2 billion ppl ull probably find every type of music & every type of dance form here. And they r not tryna look or dress like westerners that's how the normal youth looks like & dance like in India.
Definitely react to ABCD part 1 songs. They have professions dancers in the music videos and as lead actors as well.
In ABCD 2, apart from the 2 main actors (this female dancer Shraddha and the one that comes later to dance w her ), everybody else is a dancer.
I understand this is not the best choreo, but I cannot agree with Wale in this point. This is still a good one.
Also, this movie is the real life story of the dance crew named "Fictitious Dance Academy" who from a small town 'Nala Sopara' in Maharashtra reached the finals of the World Hip Hop Championship Dance Academy in Las Vegas.
Do not think of this as the cliche Disney Movie, it is not. Think of it as a sponsor lol.
Besides, every Indian movie is a musical. Nothing special in this like that.

Yup,The track is brilliant, Shradha is pretty and they are both great dancers.
The perspective is very important. The video It’s not showing the coreography. It’s more like a REHEARSAL between them maybe that’s why it looks incomplete. The chemistry between Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan, the visuals, the voice, the background it’s very good.
im kinda surprised about the perspective on the choreo. everyone ive heard simply loves this piece. and its definitely not a simple or easy one either and has been performed really well. and personally i love it and thinks it goes very well with the vibe of the song.

You should check out ABCD 1 songs, you will love the choreography because everyone is actual dancer in that movie, but in ABCD 2 they included 2 actors from Bollywood that is why the dance maybe not upto the mark, they have to ease the choreography so that they both can match the actual dancers.... So please do check out ABCD 1 songs.
If you're looking for another great song and great dancing, I would recommened "Oru Murai Vanthu Parthaya" from the movie Manichitrathazhu.
A spoiler free and overly long explanation for what's going on in that movie/scene is that a married couple moves into a supposedly haunted mansion owned by the husband's family and the wife gets possessed by the spirit of a dancer. That dancer was in love with another dancer but the old owner of the house fell in love with her and wanted to marry her. When she didn't reciprocate his feelings, he had her killed. The scene is about her remembering her life and the song is about her yearning for her actual lover (the other dancer).
