I don't get why owners/ managers in the US get so little from prosecutors in way of punishment. This was pure negligence and the fact he got found guilty for a sentence of 1 month in jail for cutting corners? Isn't this at least trying to get a manslaughter from? I guess it boils down to if the guy has money we will knock the charges down a peg or 2 plea bargain so his expensive lawyer makes us lose. The film Law abiding citizen reminds me how you don't need to be innocent or rich just know how to play a corrupt system
The average criminals are now beneficiaries as well. Early parole, light sentencing for heinous crimes, etc. Those who follow the law make one mistake and get hammered.
Yeah. RUclips recommend this channel, but he should put just as much effort into the visual elements as he did the script, rather than using a bunch of unrelated stock footage. Stock footage is fine as filler, but when you say the ride by name and show various rides that all fit the description of "rotating pendulum ride" it's very hard to tell which one, if any, is the true ride. Even if it says the name on it, traveling carnival rides can go by multiple names and the names can overlap.
@@eaglescout1984sometimes they can’t use the actual footage for various reason’s because RUclips can block it or demonetize it or even strike the whole channel. At least he’s posting a video about it jfc.
This is just a bunch of random clips of other rides with some creepy voice in the background barely telling a story. Show the actual ride and focus on what happened.
After working at a well ran amusement park and knowing that even there there can be accidents I have made it a point when I go to fairs with my family we spectate, enjoy the sights and atmosphere but never I mean never ride on a temporary permitted always on the move ride. Peace to the individuals who that do but it ain't my style.
The physical pain the Gorhams endured alone keeps me awake at times but what hurt my soul the most is knowing the truth that wasn't told. Pulling Mr Gorham out of the way was the most difficult thing I've ever had to do and i wouldn't wish for my worst enemy to be in either shoe.
Its things like this that have always made me NEVER go to these sorts of things, or at least to never ride these "traveling rides". They're so shotily kept up or, like this, have owners who are only in it for the bucks.
Roller coasters are unbelievably safe lol, WAY safer than the car ride up there or even sitting in a lawn chair, statistically. Majority are user error, fair rides are the ones that are unsafe.
How on earth are there not SEVERAL interlocks and fail-saves in place that immediately cut electricity to the main parts if there are literal breaks made in the circuit? I just don't understand how something so simple can be overlooked or even tampered with? Absolutely unreal. .. Edit: there seemingly were but Josh Mac n Cheese should be in fkn prison for YEARS! I am not a fan of any rides at all…but I know is so much fun for others…and yes, moving parts can fail after a while…however for the moving shows are probably more dangerous, because of constant assemblies…🤷♀️
He knowingly tampered with a machine that was capable of causing harm, knowing that these changes were both illegal and would result is both malfunction and/or prevent the ride from preforming safety and disregarded the safety of riders and the law itself. Oh, sure, give him a slap on the wrist, whatever. He shouldn't be allowed to ever work anywhere near machines. He should be paying for every single person effected, this is disgusting.

Hmmm... Guess the operators wanted the people to go on a second time...this time trying a new technique. The second time would be WITHOUT the safety restraints. 😉

The system is corrupt and benefits exactly who they want it to. Sucks for the average person

It's the same in Europe and it's all about who has the most money. They don't care about people.
Disgusted act, sue him
Not just the USA. Other countries have crappy if not worse systems.
If something werid happens while waiting for a ride. Please don't get on that ride. It ain't worth you life.
You should have shown the actual ride (or a similar ride) instead of a bunch of different fair rides.
He did show it multiple times

I saw the original ride in this video.

Your editing was very confusing, I had to look up Vortex to see what the ride was. You showed about 50 different rides.
Most Amusement park owners don't want to hold accountable for people and children deaths injuries and negligence

Yep my dad was the same way on us especially with the state fair rides like you said that are always on the go…not actually stable
people like Mr. Macaroni brain should get punished by having to ride the rides he messed up himself...

Ridiculous. There must have been 100 different rides shown, which one was the topic.
The yellow one the 2 identical gondolas side by side
Absolutely disgusting those poor people. God bless them all xx

They both should have got years in jail it's about integrity which they had none those families did not deserve the unjust
People wonder why I have fears if riding rollercoasters and don't hardly ever go on them when I go to an amusement park:(

Reminds me of the accident that happened at the Ohio state fair
@@infamousaccidents I was there the day it happened I was on my way to ride it
@@infamousaccidents and I’ve watched that video of the one you made about the fair
He also carried on running the rides. Crazy He should've been banned from everything running rides again.
Confusing. Which ride is the vertex? Too many background junk is shown that is irrelevant to the story
Love your voice!
Never trust a carni called Macaroni
True 😊
0:04 Please tell me that coaster in the background footage isn't real. Horrifying ride design.
I watched it 3 times, and it's absolutely horrifying! I hope there's more track that we just can't see.
No its not real, its been edited.
Is it not in vegas?!
There’s no way it’s 2023 and people are still getting fooled by that image.
What ride was the accident on? You have clips of so many.
The vortex one

They clearly had 2 mystical warnings from the heavens. Thanks!
They gotta bring this ride to the Loving County Fair in Texas or have they already?

BRUHH why vortex ride look like that 😨😨😨OH Heck Na To THE NA NA and it's fliping around🤢🤢🤢I can't do rides like that
Your thumbnails are serious clickbait lol
That hot shot owner should be in jail....or better yet made to ride his own rides... Almost no one gets what they should
Did Paulie Walnuts hire this operator?
