Enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing 👍🏼 About vortexes, let’s not look upon it as an obstruction but rather as a concentration of energies at the chakras, finally each node being a chakra actually. In kundalini yoga, unfortunately these days there is no focus on the preparation, the purification needed before beginning. In fact, that is all needed, a pure heart and steadfast resolve to dwell in thought rested silence. The kundalini or Divine Mother acts as She chooses, energising body-mind, filling us with bliss until all concepts and ultimately ego (identity) disappears. Blockages are fears and desires rooted in attachment, that’s true.
you’re welcome 😇 a vortex is exactly, by definition, an obstruction in the flow of a medium, causing turbulence in a familiar Fibonacci spiral pattern. that describes *all* phenomena, *all* manifested things from subatomic particles, chakras etc. all the way up to galaxies. so in the _Mahā-Nidānasutta_ the Buddha described the world as _vaṭṭaṁ vattati,_ a whirlpool or vortex because it is an obstruction to the free flow of consciousness. i don’t like the term “kuṇḍalinī yoga” because it carries the association of an action done by the will. this misconception has caused incalculable suffering because Śakti doesn’t like to be pushed around or ‘raised.’ She is already flowing everywhere in the form of _prāṇa._ but when we worship Her and She becomes satisfied, She can give everything up to _mokṣa._
My yoga teacher explained this to me exactly like this. Bhakti yoga is not bhakti with rules and regulations. I am drawn on this path by various people and events . I have been pulled . And as much as I feel so many things inexaplainable but felt, I still needed to explore. You explain everything so much in detail and am thoroughly grateful to you ✨
You’re fortunate to have such a good teacher. This is deep knowledge! I also have the same feeling, that my whole life was a setup to draw me into this Path, little by little over time. At the appropriate time you will also be drawn to the Ultimate. 🕉🙏😇🌙🔱
Well Michael & I are feeling like we have a pretty good overview & functional understanding of the Path. It’s all there in Sri Vidya. Of course you do have to dig it out, but it represents and explains our direct personal experience accurately.
Namaste 🙏 My _ādi-guru_ was ISKCON founder Bhaktivedānta Svāmī. But I never thought of myself as a ‘Vaiṣṇava’, just as a disciple of a realized being. Just as when I was living in a forest monastery, I didn’t think of myself as a ‘Buddhist’. Or when living in this body, I never thought of myself as this body. People are deluded by identification with material objects, names and forms; but I have always felt the falsity of temporary things such as membership in different groups. You said, “you were a Chaitanya Vaishnava.” What do you mean by ‘you’? This body? But I am not this body, nor have I ever been. Anything that has a beginning also has an end; thus it is a temporary manifestation of the illusory material energy, _māyā._ But I am not like that. I am always and forever the same, unchanging, the non-doer. Sometimes I manifest different forms for the benefit of the living beings, and sometimes I remain formless. But I am always the Witness, both in this body and ‘others’.
It is the left hand path though. That's its traditional designation. As in you can't have a right hand if there is no left hand. Ardhanarishvara, symbolically, represents that.
Yes, that’s alright. Śrī Vidyā includes both right-hand (Vaidik) and left-hand (Tantrik) paths. It also includes all stages from dualism _(dvaita-vāda)_ to complete Self-realization _(ajata-vāda)._ Similarly, it includes teachings from Lakṣmī, Kālī, Sarasvatī, Durgā, etc. Śrī Vidyā's all-inclusive quality is why we have made it our focus.
Namaste... Hi, I've been attempting to learn/study/practice Shaivism& Shaktism very specifically. However I've been very reluctant to study from the Brahma Sutras, cuz I am under the impression that it is actually a Vaishnava scripture? ...I wana ask should I feel free to study from Brahma Sutras as a tool to learn or enhance my knowledge in Shaivism/Shaktism? Also I know that in Hinduism we say that Lord Brahma created the physical universe...is that still valid in the judgements of Shaivism-Shaktism...( for I've learned that Shiva himself and his Shakti have created everything).. Could yu please explain this ?- about what is relevant as a Shaivite-Shakta student. Namaste
Oh boy, so many misunderstandings. The _Brahma-sūtras_ predate sectarian Vaiṣṇavism and Śaivism by thousands of years. Śaṅkarācārya has a beautiful commentary on it, which you can find here: sankaracharya.org/ ‘Hinduism’ is a catch-all term introduced by foreign invaders of Bhārata (India before it was carved up by said invaders). The word ‘hindu’ appears nowhere in the _Vedas._ The complete story of creation appears in _Purāṇas_ like _Śrīmad Devī Bhāgavatam_ (not to be confused with _Śrīmad Bhāgavatam)_ which you can download here: archive.org/details/srimaddevibhagavatampart1
Yes I'm aware that " Hinduism " is a term first used by foriegn invaders..( I actually have a Muslim background). And yes do know of shankaraachary, I'm under the impression that he " formalized " if yu will , how ' Hinduism ' is viewed today ( in any sampradaya)- much like Swami Prahbupad has organized ISKCon today..if I'm not mistaken. So I'm assuming that it is worth a study for the Sri Bhasya Brahma sutras. Also I wanted to check about another video yu made about picking a Guru.- since I am not able to find a Guru in my area at all that I can get to, except only at an ISKCon temple..although I prefer a Shaivite- Shakta denomination...I take it that ISKCON is better than none at all. I will investigate this more. NAMASTE

Wonderful Insights. The very nature if Virtex is centrifugal force that binds and suffocates.🙏
Yes indeed! That’s how Māyā operates. 🕉🙏😇🦁
How little I know and spent half of my life -beautiful explanation
There’s always more to know. Life is too short to know everything. How much you know isn’t as important as what you do with it.

Pranama. If I'm not wrong, you were a Chaitanya Vaishnava a number of years ago, weren't you, Sir?

In the chart shown in the video, bhakti is associated with Manipura. What is the role of Anahata then?
Communication.
@@ConsciousnessRC Communication between the "lower" and the "higher" centers ? Like Tipheret in the Qabbalah ?
No, communication with ‘others’. Communication with the object of love in _bhakti-yoga,_ and communication of various concepts in _rāja-yoga._
