@@ChadHooverFishing it would definitely be a hike for me from Indiana. I’m always looking to hone my craft..especially as a new tournament angler. I could use the wisdom…tight lines man!
Another good video with my 2 favorite fisherman. You 2 are awsome when fishing together. And Thanks Chad for getting me into kayak fishing. Its my getaway. Peaceful and quiet time. Thanks again Brother.
Chad, this is Dean Johnson and I live in Huntsville, Alabama. I believe I saw you at Publix in South Huntsville on August 14. Thanks for all you have done to promote kayak bass fishing! Hopefully, I'll get a chance to see you in Huntsville again, shake your hand and thank you in person.
One of the few great things about the internet is the ability to learn so much from a video, for free. Although I’ve fished my entire life still love listening to these guys and I even pick up new tips here and there !
Chad that was an awesome video! Loved the content. So is Gene the "bass nettin, bee movin, maybe cow tippin, flukemaster" Jensen now? Just kiddin! Watching these videos on Guntersville bass fishing is going to make me want to come back sooner than I planned. For those guys who are just thinking about booking a guided trip, they need to get off the couch and on to the water in their kayaks in those beautiful North Alabama waters. Guys, book a guided trip with Chad and Gene! you won't regret it! I had the time of my life.
Hey Chad, it’s raining here all day. If I go out tomorrow when it’s calm and sunny again what’s my best strategy to find fish? Thanks, hope to see you in the shorts
Great video. I'm new to bass fishing. Just purchased a Hobie PA 14. What would be a decent fish finder? Planning a trip this fall to Huntsville and Guntersville.
Nice video, except for the snake. It looks like there is a lot of weed covering the bottom. I tried fishing a pond with the weed solid 6" to a foot under the water and got skunked. I used a popper and a frog do you have any suggestions? I'm in Connecticut if that helps. Thanks for all your videos. They help a lot.
Hey Chad, can you come to the finger Lakes (New York) and fish with me lol I know some insane spots on some giant lakes and some really little lakes that we could cover the entirety of in a day!
I would love to do something like that and it’s possible that I could do it next year. This year I’m limited financially due to the divorce and also limited on time since I’m working hard to fix the other one. Hit me up next year and let’s see if we can make it happen.
Yessir, I actually have a couple videos here on the channel and the one Bait Caster Versus Spinning Rods is a good one too, especially for those just starting to use a baitcaster or just starting to consider it.
Question for you both, If you could pick one state to kayak fish for bass, which would it be? Brok my PB again 2 days ago 10.2! Any recommendations on quality accurate digital scale? I have a cheaper Rapala digital scale now few years after checking it with 5 & 10lb weights it's constantly coming up 1.2 light! So my 10.2 is probably an 11.4! Need a new scale asap!
That’s a tough one since there are great places to fish everywhere. I chose to move to North Alabama because it has the most great places to fish within a couple of hours of anywhere else that I could have went. So, I guess that I can answer it by saying I “picked that one state” when i could have went anywhere
@@ChadHooverFishing good to know. I haven't fished or been to Alabama unfortunately. I moved to southern SC 2 years ago from southwest Ohio. Not many if any big bass up there. I've done very well down here though. I have lake Murray, Russell , Clarks Hill, Santee Cooper all within 20 minutes to hour n half away. Plus ton of smaller lakes. Caught a bunch of 7-10lb largmouth! I hadn't caught anything bigger than 4.8 lbs before I moved.
In all seriousness, I am a beginners nightmare! I know nothing about fishing. I used to live on a lake and fished on a daily basis with all guess work into play! I love your videos! Certainly a sport that I love even without the knowledge needed to catch and release. Thank you Chad!
Install. The screen to be fixed, the transducers fixed on the shaft, there are two sensors for Lowrance HDS 7", I do not want to drill the holes on the kayak, it is portable for different kayak type, thanks@@ChadHooverFishing
Awesome video! I love watching you and Gene.
Great Video! I'd love to see one where you give some tips on shallow fishing and Gene does some on deep water.
Awesome action with Two Masters of they're craft. Keep on grinding guys!
Thank you
Sounds like you are getting your joy back! Tight lines
Man. I’d love to do a guide on a boat with this gentleman
I may add guiding from a boat in a few years,
But for now it’s just from the kayak. Would love to take you out in the kayaks

Definitely coming back to North Alabama September, and again in October... and again in November!

@ChadHooverFishing absolutely! That would be awesome! We would just have to work around tournaments, that's all!
Hello Chad, I am learning to fish with a bait caster(ugh) Any good pointers?
Free advice LOL?

How do you add fish finder to a non equipped kayak

How to set the fish finder for Kayak fishing? compared to boat fishing, thanks
I will work on that. Do you mean how it’s installed or more how the settings on the unit are set up?

That snake was a banded water snake, non-venomous. ;)
How about a video on the type and color of the clothing you wear and why.
john wick with that net
Ha! Don’t blow his head up even more 😂😂
ha! i still dont know how to properly net a fish, but hey im a pro
You should net a fish and fall out of the kayak and see if you can still keep the fish in the next. 🤷🏻♂️
🍻🤙🏽
👊🏻
Guntersville gators???
I need to come down for lunch again! Please don’t sing “I’m a little tea pot” though. I will haunt you with “Baby Shark”!
Ha!! Thanks
