Why are the roads so wide

Why does the car not oversteer and slide moore when going faster? There is bearly no countersteering because the game seems to do the driveing halfway by itself and have a big understeering charakteristic. It looks impossible to have a spin becase the car wont drift in low speeds when accelerating and doesnt look like the car has a chance to slide or spin because of too much speed.

@@TakeGaki heh. I dont know how to explain moore simple what i thought about the game. I just wonder a bit how the car doesnt any time go to a bigger slide when steering and brakeing hard like in with a real car.. It looks like the car cant power over in slower corners and spin because too aggressive throttle. And when going over 150kmh it looks like the car cant go out of control, when having high speed the car should be moore nervous. I understand that youre driveing very good and ofcourse not letting the car go out of control but the game doesnt look so realistic in situiations that i tried to explain. :)
There at 3.17 you have a bit of a moment when braking and steering too late to the corner and you dont really have to do anything when overspeeding, no actual car control needed because the game just forgives the error. The car in this game has a small oversteer the whole time and i cant really see that you would have to do any countering corrections from your steering. Have you played Richard Burns rally ever? :) It would be nice to find a newer game like Richard Burns rally game but this just doesnt look like the game to me.

It's a matter of taste. On flat ground is even.
DR2.0 is simple and selfaligning torque is accurate.
WRC8 reacts quickly to undulation.
So wrc 8 or dirt rally 2.0?
Not to speak for him and his experience, but what I've gathered from a good amount of previews is that wrc 8 is less 'arcady', whereas dirt 2.0 is far more forgiving at times. Even dirt rally 1 was more punishing which I personally miss. Cant say myself for certain until I play it.
It's hard to tell between the two.
If you want to enjoy the latest WR car and WRC world, WRC8 is good.
FFB is better with DR2 than WRC8, but WRC8 is not arcade.😉👍

It's the idea of the developers. You can try the good old Richard Burns Rally with modern NGP physics.

dirt rally 2 may be better just if you dont care about real WRX cars and reals tracks , because Dirt has none of those.

Actually the stages in Dirt rally 2.0 are real world stages. Pretty damned accurate too. Watch the video on RUclips of rally driver Miko Marczyk smashing a top leaderboard time on a stage in Poland. He also included footage of himself driving the same stage in real life, in the same car. The stage is extremely accurate.
