I remember those train cars in normal use when I was a kid back in the 1980s. There was a plaque in one car that was actually dated 1895 (I think it may have been the old royal train because the interior was elaborately carved). Athens Line 1 must be one of the oldest electric railways in world, and I'll bet that the train in your video is the one of the oldest operational electric trains anywhere. It is nice to see that at least one of the trains has been so beautifully preserved, it looks great! What wonderful memories, and a ticket was only 10 drachmae!
