What a spectacle the Platinum Jubilee was, fantastic all around! I've watched more since reacting to these highlights and all around very exciting and fun to watch. 👑 British or any other nationality, I would like to hear your thoughts on this historical event for Queen Elizabeth II. Favorite part? Most memorable? Made you cry or laugh with joy? Let me know! 🙂 Enjoy!
Charles is known for that when going and visiting parts of the country on behalf of his mother (she likes to visit parts of the country about every 6 years, or now did do) will go behind the railings to talk with people lol. Though during that is extremely rare.
@@californianreacts The whole series of events that involves the Royal Family was arranged by the Lord Chamberlain, is how it always is they're the head of the Royal Household (goes back to even Shakespeare's time, though then they were also the licensor of plays as well for a period of time the patron of his acting company excluding James VI and I's time) arranges pretty much everything like this including weddings and funerals. Was formerly Lord Peel until 31st March then on Andrew Parker (Baron Parker) the former head of MI5.
I am Portuguese too but living in Portugal. For four days I couldn't take my eyes from Sky News. I followed every single documentary about the Jubilee. I simply adore the Royal Family especially HMQ. From Portugal: God save the Queen!!! 🇵🇹🇵🇹🇬🇧🇬🇧

Exactly what this broken, chaotic world needs right now - dignity and good order, precision and elegance, the rituals and symbols that bind strong nations together. The Brits have got it right.
Completely agreed! It's a wonderful and much needed event and celebration to be having, a shining star with positivity, hope, and bringing people together from around the world.
Massive design flaw in your constitution not having a separate head of state and government. Both the US and the UK had massive political tidal waves of change and shake up, which coutry looks more united? If her majesty asked her subjects to fight tomorrow 99%, no I'll be generous, 98% would happily lay fown their life for Queen and country. If biden asked the American electorate to fight for him would they? A good chunk would refuse simply because it's biden asking.
@@libertasdemocratiam887, never thought I’d agree on the idea, but actually I agree. The monarchy has a critical role to play for cohesive culture. Maybe because it drains the emotional energy from politics, and we could do with that!
@@paulinemaclellan8204 Agree Pauline... NO family is perfect, will always have disagreements and life issues,. The added spotlight and scrutiny on the royals, only adds to this.
Except that’s a lie, never before has there been so much hate towards the queen and the royal family. You only see what you allow yourself to see. I saw mass hate, the royal family does not belong in the current age and as the old people die off so with the royal family. Not necessary in 2022 to have royalty in a first world country and a waste of money.
She and Phillip worked hard to bring in the commonwealth( leaving poor Charles with his grandparents : but I'm so glad many far off countries came over to join us!!
After the first part of the Parade on Sunday, when all the Cavalry units had passed, five or six street cleaning vehicles came down the Mall line abreast to clear up the horse droppings. With typical British humour they were cheered and clapped by the crowd as if they were part of the event!
We have to be like that, it rains souch here if we didn't laugh we'd cry. The whole weekend was so British it was nearing embarrassing, her majesty got stuck in traffic, we had floats and even cars breaking down during the pageant, darleks going rougue. Thankfully the weather was kind...for the most part.
@@libertasdemocratiam887 How was it 'nearing embarrassment...'? We will NEVER celebrate a platinum jubilee again! 'Flying our flag' is a rarity! The car breaking down was hilarious! The organisation of the whole 4 days was brilliant and I was very proud to be British!
The horse droppings are worth a fortune. It’s prime organic fertiliser for plants and soil. I know this because a gardener once told me an army of collectors would rush and bag it up to sell it to gardeners and allotments.
The bit that made my feel emotional was at the end when the huge crowd on the mall sang God Save the Queen at the tops of their voices. It was very moving.
I think even the Queen was moved by her people singing God save the Queen it did look like she did feel some emotion at the end as they showed it was not just a party & time off work.
Was happy to have a long bank holiday and thought I'm not that bothered and I can do some gardening...then found myself running in to watch the TV. Guess I'm more of a royalist than I thought. Loved the Paddington bit, still smiling.
Hi kizzyr glad you like the queen . I would like you to know the queen, all royal family and us all made Megan markle so welcome and happy for harry and her gave them a wonderfull wedding with no racism at all.and they threw it all back in our face and left no respect whatsoever and made the queen so I'll as her husband was dying.her and harry are so evil. I hope you are well and take care of your self .glad to here from you.
And appreciate your comment, White Dwarf! Went to London specifically in 2018 (and Scotland and Ireland when I was younger) and can't wait to go back! Saw so much, yet missed an incredible amount. So much to see, so much to do! Looking forward to exploring London and the rest of England since it look so beautiful.
Just like the previous jubilees, when they announced the plans there were lots of comments that it wouldn't be very good, that people weren't going to be interested etc. like the other times, those comments were wrong. It was all tremendously well done and people really wanted to be part of it. I think most people people have great respect for the Queen and the way she has handled the job, even those who are not keen on the institution. Of course nothing is 100%, there are some people who really don't want anything to do with the jubilee. However, My local street party was organised by the street's only republican. The British don't do a lot of open patriotism ( it seems too much like boasting) so occasions like this are a great excuse to express it. I also think that this time everyone was conscious that , by the nature if things, we probably won't have another chance for another big celebration for the Queen.
Simlarly in 2005 when London was awarded the Olympic and Paralympic Games for 2012. The British seem to hate themselves. The 2012 Olympics were great from start to finish. The opening and closing ceremonies for all should have made you proud to be British and the Paralympic Games were the best ever and since.
There was a rapper in the concert where they referred to the individual parts of the U.K.. The 3 lions for England, the Welsh dragon and then the Irish flag. Not the emblem for Northern Ireland. The southern Irish one. Then no Scottish flag. Most of it went well but not quite without a hitch.
@@CandleLight1974 The vast majority of this country are VERY proud to be British Unfortunately there are subversive forces at work that are trying their best to destroy all that true Brits hold dear.
Born and breed in Ireland, before moving to England when 6yrs old, I positively love being British! I served the Crown (RN submarines), considering it to be the bedrock of my future success after leaving. I can’t explain what’s it’s like to watch something like this, it’s just overwhelming. The only time I can compare it to was standing on the casing of HMS Otus, back in 1977, at the Spithead Review. It’s something the British feel and do that’s so succinctly British. You just don’t get it unless you are one. Being a Mick, I’m so very proud they’ve accepted me.
I live in London and witnessed the Trooping the Colour parade and have been in Jubilee parties. Loved the flypast especially with the planes forming the number 70. I also loved the skit with Paddington Bear in the Party at the Palace. The Queen is a very good actress. The country has really come together and my eyes welled up with tears every time the National Anthem was played. God Save the Queen!!!
Just amazing. If I had to choose one best moment, I would struggle between the tea with Paddington bear, and the gob smacked look on Princess Beatrice face when she realised they would have to move to let Nutmeg and hazard sit in the even cheaper seats than they where in. But honestly it was the best 4 days of my life, and I never even left the house. Great great production for the Greatest Queen who ever lived.
Harry is a very silly little boy and megan is a nobody who wants to be a somebody . I hope they never return to these shores, parasites both of them. It was a fitting celebration for a great monarch. So proud to be British and a royal subject
It was actually the gob smacked look on Princess Beatrice's face when the gruesome twosome asked her to move along and let them have the aisle seats. i am so proud of her for standing her ground and saying a firm "No!" to them!
Wonderful, greetings from Sweden. Was in London 10 years ago at the 60th celebration and it was insane as well. We are also very fond of our monarchy, one of a very few that still exist in Europe.
It was just beautiful! Brought tears to my eyes numerous times. My Grandparents were from England and Ireland so we grew up with the Queen always being a part of our upbringing. After all they have been through this past year I was so happy to see her celebrated for how wonderful she has been, to able to keep such tradition and respect. Was also happy to see the two who have tried hard to bring this family down during hard times notice how their Opinions meant nothing and will mean Nothing in the future, Netflix and spotify must be sick to their stomachs, what a waste.
Hi kalipsokinse God bless you for your comments.harry and Megan are both evil kicked the queen when her husband was dying all the lies made her so I'll we all made Megan so welcome gave her a nice wedding and both harry and her just kicked us all in the teeth with all their lies. The Lancaster was Britains main bomber and the one used for the legendary attack on the great dams of Germany. 617 squadron still carries the name "The Dambusters " . I'll admit to having tears in my eyes when the Queen appeared on the balcony , she's beautiful .Thankyou for showing such interest and respect for our celebrations .🇬🇧
The Queen is a noble, gracious lady. She has been consistent and faithful to her vow before God and her nation. She is regal, gracious and honorable. God bless her!
I loved her tea time video with Paddington Bear. The full two minute video is on The Royal Family RUclips channel for Kids. Other channels only showed 1 min versions.
Absolutely loved the celebrations - such a glorious weekend .I'm so happy Harry and Meghan weren't allowed to spoil it for the Queen and her family .Well Done to all who helped organise and participated in this once in a lifetime event .I'm so proud to be an Englishman living in the United Kingdom .
I am filled with love and pride for our Queen. For me she brings calm and ensures me that while we have a non-political Monarchy we will never (again) be ruled by a President, Dictator or Lord Protector. She has had 14 Prime Ministers serving under her; all of whom probably fantasised about being totally in charge! The Jubilee Celebrations were a fitting 'thank you' to a truly remarkable woman.
As you said, the royals don't have any power. The PM is President in everything but name, and he/she only serves under the Queen in a figurative sense. The Queen can't manipulate policy of Parliament in any way whatsoever. Well, I hope those little sprogs get used to waving at the lowly plebs, because that's their jobs from now on!
The entire celebration is about a different aspect of the monarchy, the Queen and the people, so it is all equally important. However, the Queens sketch with Paddington Bear and Queen playing is perhaps the most personal element...it shows the Queen at her best...humour, kindness, politeness, dignity and grace all together in just a few moments from both the Queen and her beloved guest, Paddington Bear.
iam so proud to be British, sorry to say I couldn't go to the jubilee, iwhen I watched it on TV, I cried full of emotion for our majesty the qeen she is a wonderful caring, elegant woman I want to say thank you your majesty from the bottom of my heart
The Gold State Coach is older than the US of A. Commissioned in 1760 by King George III, and has been used at the coronation of every British monarch since George IV. Last used at the Golden Jubilee, The Queens 50 year of reign. The Queen has been known to remark numerous times how uncomfortable it is to ride in.
There is much to be said for an individual who does his duty for 70 years. The Queen has shown up with grace, commitment, and honor. She became Queen 2 years after my birth, so I have really never known of anyone else in that position. I greatly admire her. I am an African-American woman and yet in many ways I consider her our Queen as well. God bless her.
Respect to you ma'am, loved reading this comment but who cares where you are from or where I am from, she is a queen of the people in any country and a role model to all. GSTQ
@@scousemouse9715 With the line "an individual who does his duty", she is speaking about people generally, and she is using the generic 'he', which refers to anyone, just as 'man' in 'mankind' refers to anyone. It's only the semi-literate PC brigade who wantonly misinterpreted the generic 'he' as referring only to men. As an example: In the drama series, Downton Abbey, the stubborn and competitive Dowager Countess and Cousin Isobel set each other a challenge. The former said: "May the best man win", even though both were women.
Thanks a lot just when I was starting to pull myself together after 4 days of partying, you’ve got me all emotional again. Truly a fantastic four days which showed the world how diverse and inclusive the British are, contrary to certain comments by minor non working fleeing royals! I truly believe that's when they lost us.
We took our grandchildren age 7 and 8 to London for the jubilee. They were thrilled to see the royals, soldiers, horses, all the tourist destinations and more. What an incredible memory they have of their time on the mall and in St James park watching the big screen whilst enjoying a picnic. They will never see another platinum jubilee, they will tell their grandchildren about this.
Take it from a Mexican. Many of us wish we had kept our independent monarchy. Though few, those were the best days for our country. It is a million times better to live in a productive, constitutional monarchy than a crumbling, failed narcorepublic.
@@amandamiller304 I know! I was also in London for the Diamond Jubilee flotilla of boats on the Thames, and I truly never expected to get this glorious bonus 10 years later. A joy and a privilege.
I was surprised by how emotional I felt over the 4 days. There was a wonderful feeling of love and affection for her and a consciousness that she won't be there for us forever. I have loved the feeling of celebration and love which has permeated the country over the weekend. The last couple of years have been very difficult for the whole world and we have war in Europe and a massive cost of living crisis to deal with. The message for me was very much we need to unite to solve these problems as a country and globally. I can't, we can.
The best thing is the love, everywhere, being shown to her and the knowledge that she is aware of how sincerely and deeply we love her. She has given her whole life to us and this huge national party has enabled us to express our gratitude and everlasting devotion. That smile was so beautiful, because we knew that, as always, she has understood what we were trying to say and she loves us right back. This is why Brits should never be referred to as citizens We are proud to be her subjects. Incidentally, when Boris turned up for the service at St Paul's, he was booed by the crowd.
It was absolutely beautiful and stunning, I'm excited to watch more events since I have yet to see most parts in full. You live in a wonderful country with spectacular history and tradition, we love it over here! 🙂
I'm so gutted I did not go wish I had now , watched on the telly with my flags up cheering along , was'nt it just fabulous ,god bless our Queen just love her 🙂❤🤍💙
I wonder if Putin watched this....he should take note, the queen is an example of how to be respected, and loved by your people....she never had to force it on anyone
Her Majesty represents unity...the overriding value that the institution of Royalty embodies in its existence. Her commitment to service has never wavered, 100% deserving this amazing memorable public accolade.
Monarchy, as the Queen has demonstrated when needed, is indeed a nationally unifying force as you say. She has pulled us together so many times and the words she put together at the height of the COVID pandemic here were heartfelt and so right. She said "We WILL meet again". And did we ever.... No President can be this unifying as they are politically biased by definition. For example can anyone say the USA is in any way unified now?
@@1chish exactly! 2 countries shaken by political earthquakes in 2016, both still reeling from it, but only one is united, the one with a head of state and head of government not the same person performing the same role. When people ask what's the point of a constitutional monarchy this is it.
Thanks for your video, it was lovely to hear your views. I was quite emotional about several parts of the Jubilee & always love to see the Brits doing pageantry so well. Perfect!! Everything went well. Even the weather cooperated. Every part was well thought out and planned to include as many as possible. Paddington was superb and a lovely touch for everyone. What a party! Our Queen is an example and inspiration to all.
In answer to your question, Her Majesty's preference for green is no coincidence and it speaks to the cultural significance of the colour itself. It melds beautifully with ideas of spring which the Queen adores, and the colour is often used to signal renewal and harmony, symbolising open-heartedness and, of course, some clover-inspired good luck! Her Majesty deliberately chooses bright colours so that people know she’s there, she needs to stand out for people to be able to say, ‘I saw the Queen!' When Her Majesty arrives somewhere, the crowds are two, three, four… ten to fifteen deep, and everyone wants to be able to say they saw a bit of The Queen's hat as she went past! Thank you for your video and kind words.
Also, on the different parts of the celebration, she wore a red outfit, a blue outfit, and a green outfit. These are the colors of the regiments of the Household Guards, and her tribute to the different Royal Colonels that represent each one.
I’ve always been a strong supporter of the queen and seeing her smile on the balcony has to be my highlight of the event, I joined my brother in his street that had been closed off and A local DJ brought his setup and was hosting a party in the street which carried on despite heavy rain helped by some fold out marques, it Was a great day The most valuable part of having a queen is having a national leader that everyone can support while generally an elected leader only receives support from half of the country
Harry and Meghan were the only blot on the landscape. After the way they’d treated the Queen, it was amazing they were there at all. Apart from that, it was a wonderful Jubilee. Always nice to see an Americans perspective as your our closest ally. Great vid! 🇬🇧🇺🇸
It was awesome. I love the moment with Paddington bear. Family unity among loyal ones. The Cambridge children especially Prince louis, i feel it brought a moment in history we will never have again, for a lady who has dedicated her life to her people.
I loved watching the Queen's Jubilee!! I was especially thrilled to hear the crowds cheering when The Queen came out on the balcony. Every day there was something wonderful to hear and see. The evening of entertainment was spectacular with the talent and the special effects being shown on the palace behind the stage. The Trooping of the Colour was magnificent and the parade on the last day was a feast for the senses. I am an American and I loved every minute of it. BRAVO.....WELL DONE!! 👏👏👏👏👏
The beacon ceremony was so magical and moving and beautiful. The party at the palace was great so much good music and the final pagent was awesome all the vivid colors and memories and just the amazing craftsmanship by the sculptors and school children. You really felt the love the public has for the queen. And her message of hope to the commonwealth.
Other than marriage and the birth of my children/grandchildren the most exciting moment of my life was when I was once in the Headingley area of Leeds (my home town) a Lancaster bomber flew over at 500 feet (or less) to fly over the crowd at the famous cricket ground. The noise from those Rolls Royce engines was tremendous - no wonder prince Louis was holding his ears - I still get goose pimples thinking of it now. An experience of a lifetime.
Favourites - the Queen on the Balcony with the next 3 Kings, The Trooping of the Colour, the Queen doing a skit with Paddington Bear (the Queen always has a surprise and it is said 'whe takes her job very seriously but does not take herself seriously') - how lucky we are to have such a wonderful Queen.
The green colour outfit, I think it's a subtle reference to the theme of the jubilee which was The Queens Canopy, with the aim to plant millions of new trees across the UK and the Commonwealth Countries. There was a 'Tree of Trees' outside the Palace which was ceremonially light up by the queen during the jubilee weekend
Loved all of it!! Teared up innumerable times. No significance to the colours, but a lot of hidden messages in the brooch she wears and other jewellery items. Thanks for this.

It was the PM Boris Johnson and his latest wife that were booed not the wonderful Harry and Meghan...don't blame them for leaving, Charlie made it very clear there wasn't a place for them in the Royal family ...everyone i know hope that the 2 adulterers never get to the thrown. Yes I've lived here in UK all my 70 years and can't help wondering how much this 4 day event cost me from the taxes I pay?
@@caroledwards3465 • Don't fret...the event cost you nothing as a taxpayer, apart from the usual amount of your Council tax that goes to policing. The celebrations were funded by commercial businesses, great and small. For the record, Boris and Carrie did get booed, and, as I'm sure you're perfectly aware, so did Harry and Meghan...very loudly, even though some of the crowd had remained silent but turned their backs to the couple. As for Charles making it clear there was no place for them in the family, how do you know? Have you witnessed their interactions? It has been reported that they visited Charles prior to the Thanksgiving service to ask for more money, and Charles rightly refused. Harry and Meghan were seated in St. Paul's among the non-working Royals as befits their status, and Beatrice and Eugenie were on the same row. It was their own decision to become non-working Royals. It wasn't forced upon them. Considering the false accusations made by Meghan about the Royal Family, which were backed up by Harry, the invitation to join the celebrations shows that the family do still consider the pair as family members...as does the fact that Harry is still a Cousellor of State. The fact that both wore recording devices is the reason why none of the family wanted to say much to them, and I don't blame them. Also, Harry and Meghan also insulted the whole population of the UK when they accused us all of being racists. They have only themselves to blame for the boos. Diana was an adulteress, and began her series of affairs long before Charles and Camilla did theirs.
You should all read less from the right wing media ...and as for Diana have an affair before Charles...he was having the affair before they were even married and it continued and never stopped ( Tampon Gate! )..Charles has admitted it in TV interviews....I think you're racism is showing through with your ,what seems like,, hatred of the lovely Harry and Meghan...think they made the right decision to leave the "firm". I don't think you live in the real world Maureen bet you voted for Trump and live in the USA....Best wishes from the North Norfolk coast UK

The bright colours the Queen wears don't usually mean anything. But they do stem from one of her most famous, and humorous qoutes: "I can't wear beige, no one would know who I am."
I think the country always goes in a little unsure of how much support the jubilees will get but as always it was a huge success and a sign of the continued support and love for the Queen. I had a lovely few days, my highlights were the concert and our street party. The country felt really together for a while, which is probably the main benefit of having a non-political head of state. A very happy 4 days. We await the change that will inevitably come, I don’t think the monarchy will ever be like this again.
The Lancaster bomber in the fly past was the British main heavy bomber of WW2 - my uncle who was 100 in December 2021 flew in these during the war, and was later posted to Ceylon (now Sri Lanka). He is still going strong, living alone and driving his car. He is quite a local celebrity where he lives! I am nearly 60 and have only ever known H.M. Queen Elizabeth on the throne, as a constant in all of our lives. It is sad of course that the years are catching up on her now, and it will indeed be the end of an era when she passes. She has dedicated her life to the country and Commonwealth, and we are all immensely proud of her - Vivat, Vivat Regina !
Thank you Rich for the information on the Lancaster bomber, not overly familiar with bombers outside of the U.S. during WWII. Fantastic aircraft all around in the RAF!
It brought back memories for me. I was serving in the RAF in Iraq when it was announced that King George VI had died and Elizabeth Proclaimed Queen. I was in a Signals Unit and It was a Flash Signal( highest Priority) at around 14.00 local time. The Station was brought to attention as the Ensign was lowered then raised, then down to Half Mast symbolising the change and our allegiance to the new Queen. Not many are left that witnessed such an event. By the time of the Coronation I was back in London Teacher Training. I stayed up all night to claim a place to watch the procession with my wife to be. We married the following year for 66years receiving a Card from the Queen on our Diamond Anniversary.
It’s was the first big celebration since the pandemic and first time we had massive crowds in london and we wanted to celebrate this once in a lifetime celebration. It was a chance for people to get together and celebrate how proud we are of the queen and everything she has done
It was FABULOUS from beginning to end. Shout out to all the organisers, volunteers, etc. for an AMAZING 4 days. I think the green colour was a 'nod' to the Duke and hat pin of black (sign of mourning)! She is the only person who can unite us and keeps us 'stable' in a mad world! It was her birthday and coronation celebrations but also a reminder of her father's (the King) death, to whom she was very close. It's great that our party was shared by so many around the world. Just loved it all.
This platinum jubilee makes you realize that the queen is the only monarch the vast majority of people in the UK have ever known. It's going to be quite the spectacle when she does finally pass on.
Took holidays to watch the whole 4 day event on tv.. could not have missed this wonderful tribute. The jubilee celebrations were a fantastic way to honour our queen. Proud to be British. ,Queen Elizabeth has served our country well in last 70 years, She has been my queen for almost 66 years. One graceful lady.
The Red Arrows pilots are all active serving members of the RAF. Also, the Lancaster Bomber was the principal British bomber of WW2 and could carry a heaver bomb load than the B17. A max bomb load of 15000 lbs I believe. The Lanc's most famous raid was that of the Dam Busters raid dropping the 'bouncing bomb', but the Lanc took the fight to German occupied Europe and Germany itself all through WW2 with a loss of 55,000 air crew over the course of the war.
@@iriscollins7583 He did indeed. But sadly Roy Chadwick died in 1947 just as the Vulcan designs were getting into metal. The leap of technology in a few years was phenomenal.
I just remember Coronation day and all the jubilees since. It was great to have a street party where everyone was joyful and united. Tears and smiles of pride, thankfulness and joy.
The lady in the crowd summed it up and that being Queen Elizabeth is the last great Monarch and she is correct . The Queen is a living link with earlier times her grandmother and mentor was Queen Mary of Teck a very interesting lady who would of known Queen Victoria .
Mary was never Queen of Teck, she was a Princess , but not a Royal Princess. She WAS Queen of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions, and Empress of India. Her mother was first cousin to Queen Victoria. Her husband was Victoria's grandson so, therefore, her second cousin.
Joanna Lumley being interviewed is another national treasure. I camped out at Buckingham Palace for the wedding of Diana and that was impresive. We will never see anything like this for generations to come.
I love the Royal Family representing our country for the good of all. We do have a unique history and we should be proud of it especially at times like this when the world seems so turbulent. We can all unite, celebrate the joy and raise peoples spirits.
Yes indeed! Always have loved WWII history and way way before back to the Pharaohs, WWII being one of my favorite to learn about. Those engines are incredible. We have an old bomber fly over where I live every so often from WWII and sounds similar with that deep rumble/roar. Love it!
Being a Brit I had my flag flying and the four days of celebrations were so memorable. I really remember the Coronation. I had a decorated mug from school, sadly now gone. Happy Days!!!! After the war everything was so bleak, just coming out of the war we had very little, but, everyone came together and had street parties for children. Most of my friend's fathers had been away fighting to have them back was wonderful. Both my father and my mother worked in armaments. My mother helped with the Bailey bridges and my father helped with tank production. The Queen was always our hope and faith.
What a spectacle the Platinum Jubilee was, fantastic all around! I've watched more since reacting to these highlights and all around very exciting and fun to watch. 👑
British or any other nationality, I would like to hear your thoughts on this historical event for Queen Elizabeth II. Favorite part? Most memorable? Made you cry or laugh with joy? Let me know! 🙂

Charles is known for that when going and visiting parts of the country on behalf of his mother (she likes to visit parts of the country about every 6 years, or now did do) will go behind the railings to talk with people lol. Though during that is extremely rare.

Massive design flaw in your constitution not having a separate head of state and government.

It's been wonderful...Royalist or not, the country had come together and I'm left with a warm glow.....
That's very true.

Yes, so British!

I think it was like 81% favourability for the monarch in a number of recent polls. Our traditions stand strong it seems.

Born and breed in Ireland, before moving to England when 6yrs old, I positively love being British! The only time I can compare it to was standing on the casing of HMS Otus, back in 1977, at the Spithead Review. It’s something the British feel and do that’s so succinctly British.
Great Britain certainly knows how to throw dignified but lavish and star studded show . It was fabulous , I loved it ♥️

The Gold State Coach is older than the US of A. Commissioned in 1760 by King George III, and has been used at the coronation of every British monarch since George IV. @@scousemouse9715 Whoops.👍

The Queen is so up-to-date with everything. Green also a 'nod' to the Duke.
I loved the black hat pin, what that said to me is that she is still in mourning for her beloved “strength and stay” the Duke of Edinburgh. 💜🇬🇧💜🇬🇧
Also, on the different parts of the celebration, she wore a red outfit, a blue outfit, and a green outfit. These are the colors of the regiments of the Household Guards, and her tribute to the different Royal Colonels that represent each one.

The sketch with Paddington bear and the Queen was fantastic! Booing megain and just H was the icing on the cake for most british people. We showed them what we felt about the terrible lies they have told about the royal family! Hope you enjoyed it Phillip.! x
@@caroledwards3465 you're not very intelligent are you? and as a betting woman you lose hands down.
@@caroledwards3465 Look at hows much revenue it brought into the country. And H and M were booed as well, I heard it with my one good ear. Specsavers now do hearing aids.
I'm British and I felt so happy, emotional and proud of Her Majesty. It was a wonderful 4 days to celebrate her and for us all to come together. There's been so much division in recent years, all of it was a joy. Bless her, can't even begin to imagine Britain without our Queen. I really enjoyed your video, thankyou xxx
Can I also say THANK YOU for being interested in our Tiny Islands celebrations, its nice to know that the MSM is wrong
I have only lived through the reigns of 2 monarchs. But my sister ,3 years older has lived through 4. George V, Edward VIII ( abdicated before he was crowned), George VI and now Queen Elizabeth.
Incredible! Thanks for sharing Gill, always very fascinating to me hearing this 🙂
@@californianreacts Here`s another strange family fact .My late husband was a child of his Father`s second marriage ,in later life .We married in 1959 but my Father-in-law had already died, actually in 1938,one month after I was born
Wow, that's incredible. Stay safe and take good care. Wish you and the queen all the best.
@@northbreeze0111 Thanks ,I`m good ,hope you are too
@@gillcawthorn7572 just fine! Take care mate 🙂
The bright colours the Queen wears don't usually mean anything.
But they do stem from one of her most famous, and humorous qoutes: "I can't wear beige, no one would know who I am."
Yep,. she does it so she stands out in the crowd.
Her first couture dresser explained - delicately - that being of 'small stature' she needed to wear bright colours so she would easily be seen.
Ha! I love it! Great quote and she chooses great colors, fantastic classy style.
I loved every minute of it. God save Queenie.
Aw Bless you ... And Thank you for your service .... A true Hero .... Paula UK .... English
It was magical.... We Brits put on a show for the whole World to enjoy.
I loved the Queen hologram in the coach, fabulous to see.
Appreciate the information on the Red Arrows and Lancaster Bomber, Keith 🙂
In fact the Lancaster was the only bomber in WWII capable of delivering the 12,000 Ib 'Tall Boy' and the 22,000 Ib 'Grand Slam' earthquake bombs.
@@1chish The designer of the Lancaster, also designed the Vulcan.
@@iriscollins7583 He did indeed. But sadly Roy Chadwick died in 1947 just as the Vulcan designs were getting into metal. The leap of technology in a few years was phenomenal.
@Nehemiah Scudder Sorry your point being what exactly?
Great channel mate. Brilliant content
l love it , it was very great for the country . Best wishes from germany. The Queen Elisabeth is marvelous.
Thank you
Thank you and respect to you.
I just remember Coronation day and all the jubilees since. It was great to have a street party where everyone was joyful and united. Tears and smiles of pride, thankfulness and joy.
I liked it all but my favourite part was when the crowd sang God Save the Queen at the very end.
Our Queen ❤️❤️ The last great. I shed more than one tear. She is our nations and indeed the commonwealths Grandmother.
I love the Royal Family representing our country for the good of all. We do have a unique history and we should be proud of it especially at times like this when the world seems so turbulent. We can all unite, celebrate the joy and raise peoples spirits.
Glad you love the Battle of Britain Memorial flight, amazing, the sounds of the Rolls Royce engines what more could you ask for? (Avro Vulcan?)
The Avro Vulcan sounds like some sort of prehistoric dinosaur when you hear its high pitched scream. It's bloody nuts.
Yes indeed! Always have loved WWII history and way way before back to the Pharaohs, WWII being one of my favorite to learn about. Those engines are incredible. We have an old bomber fly over where I live every so often from WWII and sounds similar with that deep rumble/roar. Love it!
The Lancaster and the Vulcan, same designer.
Best bits - the military massed bands and the mounted band, HMQ & Paddington, Queen (the band), the stuffed corgis and the Queen on the balcony.
The Queen always wears bright colours, so that she can be 'seen'.
Filled with so much pride in our wonderful Queen and the people of the UK 🇬🇧 ❤
I worked on the Jubilee concert as a camera operator and consider it a professional highlight
