You forgot stabilization. Some succulents will throw out aerial roots as a way to stabilize them and keep them upright instead of tipping over. Aeonium kiwi and jelly beans are two good examples of that..
Wow🤩😱 cool you have kalanchoe Tiger Humilis😱 amazing! It grows that high? Mine is 6 month or 8 months old but is stil is small😢🪴 it was potted to small terracotta pot although now the stem is 3 and there are some new growth of leaves 😊 but boy how glad would i be if it grew that high like the one in your possession 🤩
That is Kalanchoe right Sir? I had a flaming Kathy but I gave it to client as gift but I took 5 stems hope it will be successfully propagated😅 Sir LG can you make vlog about Kalanchoe and Cotyledon Paw (but i think you have that already🧐) thanks
Kalanchoe actually doesn’t require a lot of. are after a while they become. dry invasive..all you need is a well draining soil that’s all no fertiliser required they grow like crazy …there have been times have just trashed the cutting coz they were growing so much 😂
Ohh...i agree with on that Sir like the case of Mother of thousands. Because of their prolific nature they propagate fast without you even knowing it your neighbors had it already without then even bother to buy😂 but the Humilis and Mamorata baker their leaves has fascinating color and design😊
Very good evening, A lush view from a Gardener who helps us to stay happy and healthy. Nature has a way of contributing to our good health. Thank you for sharing your video and valuable tips. That's an awesome succulent among others.💞💞 💞👌👌👌👌
Very interesting. I just received a little assortment of cuttings from an Etsy seller. And on one of the Kalanchoes there are aerial roots half way up the stem. There were sufficient roots on the end of the stem to plant it. Now I will watch it and hopefully my substrate and the conditions I am going to give this cutting will prove to be the remedy. Maybe later when it all stabilizes I will cut it and use the too half as a new cutting... very nice video, Frank! Thank you! Judy
Wonderful! yes kalanchoes are known for growing aerial roots .....yes good idea let it establish first then you can cut the part that has grown aerial roots and you have an additional succulent .....I think that’s the best part about succulents 😁
Oh wow congrats ......well to be honest summers will be quite challenging for you as the temperatures are quite high in Delhi ......you wil have to take extra precautions like providing them a cooler place .....if the temperatures get too high u can move them indoor provided you either get direct morning sunlight or indirect sunlight for few hours it’s very important to have right amount of light indoor. If light is an issue indoor then you will have to use grow lights.....now I can’t give much information on grow light use and from Where to buy as I have never used one and never purchased one but you can research about grow lights .....because summers are the only thing you need to pass
You've brought so many succulents or propagated them???? I don't have much succulent. Only 5-7 of them...want to grow more. When I buy new, old sucs die.. 😂
I have all my succulents growing under grow lights because there’s no sunlight in the monsoon in Mumbai. So my fishbone cactus, echeveria pulvinata, sedum adolphii firestorm are putting out aerial roots. And they’re turning leggy too. I don’t water too much because of the humidity. I hope they survive. I have them since only a month
aerial roots couple of possible as you said you avoid watering too much so I guess the succulent is putting aerial roots to absorb moisture as there is too humidity in the air
Hi. I live in a humid climate. At night we switch on the AC. Will the succulents survive in the room with AC or should I shift them to another room (non ac) at night. I have snake plant, string of banana's, string of pearls.
To be honest I haven’t grown succulents in air condition so I don’t have the first hand experience...how ever as per my knowledge it should be fine as cooler temperature and good sunlight will make them thrive .....just a caution don’t place them under the air conditioning vent or where the air flow directly hits them this will dry the leaves faster and could dehydrated them even though it’s cool air ....the temperature won’t be any issue but you need to make they receive the right amount of light ......luckily all these plants that you have don’t require direct sunlight they will do well indirect bright light
Recently had ordered sucs from succulent crafty. Actually they were damaged. So I planted jelly bean succulent In soil and not they're developing aerial roots 🤗

can you share the image in Instagram…which grow light is it …and how high is the grow light ….I think the grow light isn’t enough

Nice video. I guess few of mine have aerial roots due to lack of water
oh could be possible as we tend to water them less and plus there has been so much moisture around off late
