Every time I watch someone do a race I think: "Surely the one guy with a Red Bull livery isn't going to drive like a knob this time" and I'm proven wrong almost EVERY time
I used same thing with different approach. 1. Put tires on white line using chase view. 2. Get in car and use small piece of tape (2mm x 10mm) to prolonge the white line into cockpit. Now u know exactly where ur tires are and at which angle.
Best car on the service! I hope you do more racing in it! The league I race with is about to start it's second season in the F4. It's so much fun. The racing is super clean and very competitive. I've had battles that lasted multiple laps and times where I've been side-by-side for almost an entire lap.
@@codygrams If you say so. I do race F3. It's also one of my favorite cars, but I just like how the F4 handles better. F3 attracts more idiots who can do quick laps but have no race craft or consistency. They usually don't respect the fast closing speeds so you get more dumb accidents.
Nice race dave! Im thinking this is the open setup monza and not the fixed. I watched your lines and every thing your doing is spot on except lesmo 2. If you turn in a split second earlier and put your right tire up on the green pain right at the apex you will find you can pickup the throttle a slight bit earlier. Try it you will see! If need be you can soften your fast bump on the right side to help keep the car more stable when you ride that curb! I put a video up of the same race but fixed setup where im doing it.
Great stuff Dave. Shame about the overlays, I love seeing your brake and throttle traces. Funny how you said track limits are relaxed and immediately got a 1x LOL. I, too, hate it when people want to battle when I want to settle in and catch the next group in front. Keep it up Davey Boy.
Dave, i hope you can see this comment. I bought ACC within discount period. And I wonder are there any 3rd party programs you are running while racing in ACC, for example kapps, crew chief, irffb in iRacing. Lastly, where do you find your setups for ACC?
Hey dave question I've been noticing in some vids you have been wearing gloves and using No Gloves. I wanna try racing without gloves but yet I don't wanna ruin my wheel.
I've been watching your videos for ages. Best iracing RUclipsr around. I've always referred to you as the "gentleman racer" to my girlfriend (She's not into simracing. But she listens to me rant). Anyway, since you're not a fan of downforce cars, I'd love to see you try out the Cadillacs. Big 'ol heavy mechanical grip cars that are difficult, but a blast to drive.
I cannot find the words to express my disappointment Dave. ☹ Yes you have really let me down I'm afraid... I was so looking forward to seeing you race in a wig! 🤣 Good racing and the spin coming out of the first chicane was unfortunate but we've all done it at some point. Keep the content coming.
Me: Frantically Googling "Where is the mute chat button in iRacing... " Driving the F4, almost felt like pressing Alt+F4, too much chatter. Those two should have a tea sitting, privately.

Dave you're killing the content recently! So much in so little time too!
12:00 proper hospital pass on the guy behind leaving him to deal with the other guy, very funny.

You should try F3. It's like F4 but better in every way.
which league?

@@angryginger791 You just described F4 haha but yes there are poor drivers in F3 as well.
@@codygrams I've had far more good races in the F4 officials than in F3. It depends a lot on when you race though. To each his own.
7 videos in 7 days, what a treat.. keep up the great work Dave!
You beating yourself up in such a relentless fashion is some of the funniest shit I've seen in a while!

This was fixed 👍
Awesome to see you trying out F4 again! Great video as always Dave :)

I finally made the jump to iRacing. I'll keep playing ACC, but after watching so much of your content I am happy to experience this by myself
My personal fave sim racing content creator, big thumbs up
That's so kind of you, thank you 👊
The lesmo track limits have been relaxed, you can push right to the edge but if there’s any contact with gravel, it’s a one X. But definitely better
Definitely struggling with this one lately. So many people have been pushing just a bit too hard and spinning in the wrong place at the wrong time.
If Jim was a human he would say “ok Dave get ready to wear a wig, P7 it’s over mate, it’s over” 😅😅😅. Great race tho!
Always entertaining, Dave! And I love watching you in open wheel!
Was really lookin forward to the wig. Big sad. Maybe next time lol. Good race anyways Dave! Enjoyable as always
"speed google excitement". Too funny!
22:14 Anyone on iRacing knows this feeling!
Great to see you racing in this class! A real nail biter!!😅
I’m not a Gamer, and enjoy watching your videos amongst others. I would of thought downforce gives more grip and makes it easier to drive?
Nice to see you in a proper racing car and not a tin-top in racing clothes!! 😂😂 Next up the sr10??
Would like to see you in the radical SR10 more dave 👍🏻.... Great content as usual
It’s the glasses! +2 seconds due to increased downforce 😂
Heh, that was pretty good stuff; except for the spin. I think you should wear the wig anyway. Thanks for the content!
I audibly gasped very loudly at the spin
So close pushing for know reason there at the end. I do it too

There might have been a crash ahead but I think, as punishment for your silly spin, you should do the F1 21 car in a race ;)

Dave Cam, come and jump in the lotus 79. Participation is up 🚀
I think if the video gets 1k likes Dave should still wear the wig 😉
😂😂
Enjoyed the open wheel race
It feels weird that the steering wheel isn't turning
Yeah always gets me, mine moves but without hands :')
Can I ask @Dave Cam are the speed goggles prescription or just blue light
Just some cheap pound ones that I bought so I can see the back off food packaging 😂
What don't you like about downforce cars?
I cannot find the words to express my disappointment Dave. ☹
Yes you have really let me down I'm afraid...
I was so looking forward to seeing you race in a wig! 🤣

I was hoping for a Wig. Damn them.
Where do you watch the carnage Dave or do you compile it.
Put the replay to the start and it's ctrl numpad 1 & 3 to cycle through the incidents 👍
How do you see all the crashes in the replay? There’s a fast way that show them automatically? Great content by the way man 👍👍☝️
Presumably there’s “jump to next/prev event” buttons

Hi Dave, how do you make the halo see-thru?
Go to the garage and there is a tick box near the top to make it transparent 👍
@@davecamyt Thanks Mate cheers :)
I love the iR04. Too bad it's ruined so often by poor driving standards by many of the competitors.
Once your car goes down-force on you, you'll never go back. 😉
The f4 is soooo good
😊👍
👍
You still need to wear a wig next video 😂 Be a man (or woman or whatever). Great content as always and good racing!
Lol, Dave speed Google’s didn’t help!
Watkins in formula Renault 3.5 next week, grab some brave pills and give it a rip
Annoying when you´re having no overlays.
😉👍
