I like that there's a big ticket item for gathering that you probably don't have to game the mb to make decent gil like with materia or under supplied mats
Wow, I'm surprised it's a mount from gatherer scrips. That's so cool and so worthwhile rather than spending it on materia you don't need. This feels similar to grinding for the vouchers in the Island Sanctuary lol While there are items and housing items to spend on crafting and gathering scrips, I don't know if we ever had a mount before?
I see myself very slowly chipping away at this with the weekly custom deliveries. No need to rush here since imo it's not that pretty. Just for one step closer to completing the mount collection 😅

This"ll have me bothering to turn up for custom deliveries all expansion long then. (I don't remember there being one of these scrip mounts in previous expansions? Did I miss one?)
To my knowledge there are two recent crafter mounts, but not scripts specifically, no. .
For those who don't cheat those 100k gatherer script will take a while.
For those who cheat, with bots it will take a weekend.
This is bacause the nodes to get the script takes time.

Me and my brother manually did it without any add-ons/program. We just did it casually and we grinded it for 2 weeks max. It's not so bad as long as you bring many high-cordials and gear your gatherer to have more gp

Thanks for showing this mount. I wouldn't want it even if it's free lol much less pay 100 M gil for it much less grind for countless hours for the scrips. Already have the buffalo mount I only use if it comes up in mount roulette.

Was considering grinding this with fishing script farm but after this video, I'm not going bother... it's so meh. Just going meld up and call it a day.

Also doesn't help that they add twenty of these grinds every expansion. 50k gemstones for a squirrel, 100k scrips for a buffalo, 3000 hunt targets for a dragon. Its fucking dumb.

@@pastaboy1338 More like this guy has been actively playing for 10 years. I have not done anything special and I have like 400 mil. It just accumulates over the years since there is not much use for Gil in this game.
get yourself FC house, get yourself 4 submarines to the highest rank/level, ez avg 500k per day
@pastaboy1338 or. You know people actually play the game they enjoy for a long period of time and it just accumulates.
if anyone wants to farm it to sell it its not worth it believe me you need around 2 and a half or 3 hours to get 5 tokens assuming you get 5 Ores from each collectables node if you sold it for the market board price you will get 1.5 mill, instead if you do folklore nodes and sell the Materia from spirit bonding its much better you can get 10 Materia in 15-20 min and if you spend the same time you do in order to get 5 tokens to do the folklore you can get 110 Materia and if you are lucky it will sell for 5mill + maybe in later patches the mount will be better but for now the Materia sells faster and worth more
Fishing is more efficient for gatherer scrips btw. The scrip range is from 18 to 1000 scrips depending on the fish. Something like Urqofrog should be fairly straightforward to spearfish and it gives you 60 orange scrips a pop if your collectability is high enough. And it's a fish you can fish 24/7. There is probably even better fishes for it, but that was just an example of how much better fisher is than miner or botanist that rely on timed nodes heavily.
This is entirely dependent on your server, the market isn't the same for all data centers. At release I was selling the Hoverbike mount for millions more than its worth, but this market crashed already once people started reaching the second city.
@@touma-san91 i wasn't planning on leveling fisher but i might after what you said thanks but for now miner and bot are better for the Materia
@@KGhaleon not just my server every server on my data center prices are from 300k to 400 k for the token and 80 k to 120k for the Materia so the Materia are still better to get and i know the Materia will crash but probably the next Tuesday not now so you got plenty of time to get millions before it crash and then you can do the token which will be stable at 150k probably because of the time it takes to farm them
yeah no. I'm def selling. grinding for about 3-4 days is more than enough to get it if you have the time and on my sever at least the mount sells for 100 mil+ and the tokens sell for a little under 500k, either way I'm making a nice profit and don't have to deal with battling idiots in the materia market that are constantly undercutting or using bots and inevitably crashing the price.

I really dont understand why the 14 devs think they need to add fifty huge grinds every single expansion. This thing doesnt even look cool enough for me to want to grind that many orange scrips. And even if I did grind that many, I could probably get more use out of materia. Ugh. I love the flying squirrel mount of 50k gemstones jesus fuck.

It will be worth the effort when we get to a point where we don't need tokens. We had nothing to buy with scrips after the last set of armor came out. People were capped on scrips for months upon months with nothing to use them on. And if you did your Custom Deliveries, you could get them easily. You can get around 1k to 3k scrips a week on the custom deliveries alone. And we are only going to get more and higher amounts when the new deliveries come out.
As for high effort, it is not at all high effort because you can easily get 100% rewards from custom deliveries now with 2 or 3 buttons per item.

Pretty much a mount for completionists with nothing but time on their hand tbh.. If it was lot nicer looking mount, I would consider grinding for it but it's not worth it when there is so many other better looking mounts in the game
