- Whether your heart is set on day trips out of Sukkur or exploring its beauty within, this city will amaze you. I used it as my homebase to explore the UNESCO Site of Mohenjo Daro and the breathtaking fort at Kot Diji (which, by the way, is now tied for 1st with Lahore Fort as my favourite fort in Pakistan). I travelled TO Sukkur by train from Bahawalpur and left it by car & driver to Larkana so it's easy to get in and out by various modes of transport. And while you're there, Hotel One Sukkur should be your base ... it is the best hotel in town and their team will coordinate your day trips and sightseeing to some really amazing places.

Hello friends :-) Welcome to my Sukkur Travel Guide. I hope you'll find it helpful if you're thinking of visiting Punjab. I'm in Pakistan for 50 days creating LUXURY TRAVEL CITY GUIDES and visiting areas not yet well documented online. Pakistan is turning out to be even more wonderful than I imagined, and with so much to share all day long:
- if you'd like to see all of my Pakistan hotel reviews and vlogs, please save this playlist: ruclips.net/p/PL88xCnJRARRmULI76LXtnoqMRQq5RNu0bb
Have any plan to visit Islamabad again?? We would like to shoot a vlog with you. We have just started our Channel recently recently.. promoting tourism via website since 2 years...
Angela Carson is back home. Its time for a check-up.
Doctor: All your reports have come out good. Only a test indicates 37.8% blood.
Angela Carson: Good God, what's the rest of it?
Doctor: Chai, where have you been?
Angela Carson: Pakistan....
Thanks for Propoting Sindh culture. Sindh is the land of peace and Sufism ❤️🙏
I'm having a wonderful time :-)
People like Angela are doing great job by exploring Pak and by posting these videos on RUclips. I live in Lahore and never new about many places Angela has visited. I think Pak Govt and provincial governments should publish books about the places tourists can visit. Theses videos are not only inspirational but also instigating for people like me. I am planning to explore all these places of my beautiful Pakistan.
That is very kind of you to share that comment. My view is that these places should be easier to find on a single website for Pakistan, which right now there isn't one ... there are regional sites but not all designed to 2021 styles and standards for usability. I've seen the books about these places in print at the sites but we are all digital creatures today ... that all needs to be with gorgeous large photos on a website :-)
@@AngelaCarson cannot agree with u more.
As a pakistani I never got a chance to visit my beloved country. Thanks for showing us pakistan. Love from Canada 🇨🇦 ❤
What a kind comment, thank youuuu
Wow Amazing Pakistan is Very Historical Country please Save #Heritage of #Pakistan 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Great videos made by Angela Carson.. the way u walk barefoot on holy sites shows how much u respect our sacred places. Thank you so much. God bless you.
Thank you. I think as westerners we don't always understand how often we need to show respect like that so I try to show when I've taken my shoes off (and also when there are pretty tiles on the floor haha) :-)
@@AngelaCarson as pakistani patriot I admire the way u showed positive image of pakistan.. the country is so diverse and full of cultures , history, hospitality, honesty and from simplicity to modernize international level living standards..!! Please do visit ancient city of harrapa near sahiwal, the remains of Buddhist culture in swat in kpk and taxilla city near Islamabad, kathas raj temples in chakwal Punjab, salt mines of khewera, the Kailash valley and its people who r known to b the decendents of Alexander the Great, and many ancient Hindu and Sikh temples located ev where in Pakistan. God bless u.
I like how you go to the less traveled places in Pakistan.
It’s time for us to explore the south more. It’s beautiful.
Honestly, thank you soooooo much for this. I'm a foreign born Pakistani so I've never experienced life there, its so great and enriching to see just how much cultural heritage I am connected to.
Welcome To My Home Village Kotdiji Thank For Telling Everything Secure Country for Tourism

Love and respect all time in Pakistan
Thank you
Love to see you visiting places nearby my home town.
Thank you so much
Very Excellent videography, nice shots, good information
Want to share two things.
-------- YOUR SKILL ---------
Well, I'm regretting for not being a poet or a writer. Evey passing video polishing the quality more & more.
I've been to these places. Observed them as signs of our history. Way of living of our ancestors.
But, Angela, your skill >>>> damn.. It feels like you grab my arm, pulled me into your time machine. And taking me right there, in that era, right on the spot.
Simply, mesmerizing.
--------- THE CHAEY --------
I do believe, the effects of love are more lethal in East than West. And to prove it. I have a royal lady Angela Carson, fascinated by a chaiy dhaba. Enjoying tea in those clay made DESI pots. Gosh.....such scenes of you remind me your reviews in a 7* hotel on hygiene.
Note :- all your love is our pride.
Hugs
That is very kind, thank you Azmat. Much appreciated. And if I could just shoot videos of local chai-making and sipping chai in historic spots I would have that as my channel hehe
You promote our all culture and city's thts wounderful sister..keep enjoy and be happy 4ever
Pakistanis see more Pakistan because of you. You are going to places , we never knew it existed. God Bless you 🙏
I love that!!!! I hope to inspire some weekend explorers :)
Superb sharing
Thank you so much 😊
Where the hell they been whole my life😍
I should visit these for sure now
Mohenjodaro is amazing place. This is just a tip of buried city. You can visualise how much is under the sand. World’s oldest civilisation.
There's a video and piece out just yesterday by National Geographic that's worth a look: www.nationalgeographic.com/history/archaeology/mohenjo-daro/
Civilization and religion are two different things . Many Pakistani think there ancestors were Turks , Afghans , mughals which is wrong .
@@basuvivek643 Very true. It was wonderful to visit those sites.
@@basuvivek643 so you think they were all Indian Hindus, well you are wrong.
@@AFFYJAMBO
Most Pakistani Punjabi and Sidhi were Hindus , they still use titles like Bajwa ,Butt ,Nisar ,Bilal, Mallik Gujjar , chawdery ,Rajpoot .
But people of kuber paktunwa , Balochi were not hindus .They have Afghan origin .
My Sindh ❤️
Masha allah good love frome pakistan much love

You should visit ‘north’ lol just kidding. Just enjoying your vlogs, great work! 👍🏻
Great. This temple is marvellous. I wonder y we need permission to visit this beautiful place.
Ohhhh I don't know but maybe so they control who comes over and it doesn't turn into a crazy touristy spot? Not sure.
@@AngelaCarson thanks.

Maam u are doing amazing job for promoting tourism in Pakistan👍👌 More power to you coz u are simple classy. Wish u wonderful stay and amazing memories of Pakistan😊👍
Thanks a ton
Hi Angela, You're doing a good job covering sights of Pakistan. However you could have given some explanation about Moenjodaro. It's more than five thousand years old settlement with water supply and drainage systems. It's a must for people fascinated by history. I guess there wasn't a guide present to tell you all that! That was when there wasn't any city in Europe!
I m Very Happy that u Have visited historical Place moen jo daro Introduce by Jhon Marshall 100 Year ago nd u have visited today nd win this land.
Great stuff you are putting together.
Nice .. dear iam also of this side.
when you will come to larkana

I left Larkana 3 weeks ago (and I don't meet strangers from the Internet). The Larkana videos will be out the middle of next week :-)

Hi. Luckily i was there at Sadho Bela with my family when you were shooting this video 😊 you came In Royal Taj’s van nice video 👍
I am literally in love with your videos and like the way you share information about the place. As you mentioned that there is not enough info available online so I am thinking about developing a mobile app which has all the useful information about different places.
Great idea :-)
Beautiful sukkur 👍

I am Sukkur native, hope you had a good time there 🙂
I am amazed that you visited these destinations. Sukkur is my home town. I hope you never mind if I suggest you to correct the spelling of Koh Diji, it is Kot basically not Koh. Kot means Fort in local language. Regards
Hi - no no it's fine, I always love to know what is correct. I'll edit the text for the fort but sadly I can't change the text on the video graphic :-( But thank you for telling me.
Welcom to our khair pur koat digi sindh i live near kotdigi very nice place

hi Angela, Very Very Happy 2021 to u and family. Really, salute your courage in travelling to Pakistan as a Western Woman. This is Saurav Lahiry from India. Please don't forget to visit Haraapa once, which is the 2nd most important city in Indus Valley Civilization. Regards, Saurav Lahiry
Thank you, happy new year to you
@@AngelaCarson hi angela, one help required. If u are free, do mention hotel rates, in which u have stayed, in Pakistan in USD. Regards, Saurav Lahiry
@@sauravlahiry6951 Since 2011 when I started as a luxury travel blogger I've never included prices. Prices vary too much from high/low season or if you book direct or with a 3rd party website. Sorry, that will never be on my channel :-(
@@AngelaCarson okes, no issues. have a great time. do visit Harappa once. Regards, Saurav Lahiry

Welcome to Pakistan enjoy your trip of Pakistan
Do visit india. You will enjoy it too. I would love to watch your vlogs. Your video seems like a live video going on😘😘.watched your all videos with a couple of from pakistan. I am not watching your pakistan series right now as i would never be able to visit here . Actually out of 1.4 Billion people of india hardly few thousands will be able to visit here in coming years.
Keep up the great work. My best wishes to you and your family for 2021. ❤️❤️
Sad reality. Agree with you. We have grown apart and it is better to be realistic after waiting for 72 years. My father was born in India but he never talked about it after the 1947 incidents. He was protecting us from sad stories. None of us even knew and found out after he passed away (found one official letter with address saying Gurdaspur). All we have known is Lahore.
I lived 3 years in Bangalore but I was a blogger back then, not vlogger :) You can read all about it here if you want on my blog:

Angela Carson, you are better than me. At least you visited those places. I don't know from where you are. I am born in that area, but believe me , till today I could not get the time to visit those places. I am 70.Thanks
Hi Abdul ... maybe you can go soon? They all follow Pakistan government SOPs for safety right now :-)
Didn't you visit Shopping Bazaars/streets..., Foods, Bridges...? Lots more is there.
I did visit both bridges but the weather was terrible and none of the shots look nice because it was just grey and blah. I did spend tons of time on the streets out shooting my Sindh Cultural Day video. Did you see that? I'm sooooo happy making video to show places that most people never visit, so that is my focus (along with 5-star hotel reviews and luxury travel guides). It takes many hours to shoot and edit videos, so trying not to "do it all" is helping me not go crazy right now.
Very good video
You are an amazing lady ... May you live long....
Thank you
You should visit jhelum Rohtas Fort ( World Heritage site by UNESCO ) and Khewra salt mine. Second largest mine in the world.
you have missed one historiacal place in sukkur Which is SEVEN SISTERS place. it is very wonderful place to tourist like you but still glade to see you in our mini paradise
Wow he can speak multiple languages very nice
Yes, very cool to speak Spanish with someone there who I wasn't expecting. And the fact he speaks Japanese, wow!!! So cool.
I was surprised you didn't show next to nothing about mohenjo-daro which is quite more famous then the rest.
Yeah, I should have contracted a guide :-(
