Real dope Tommy... I have a question my man. Do you know if of the floppy disks for the MPC 2000 works for the 60? I just came across a MPC 60 mk2. I know since you rock on them.
Nice man. Very inspiring. I often wonder how you power all this stuff. How many wall outputs do you have? Genuine question. I have two sets of two in my room with an 8 output adapter on each and I've run out just by using synths/samplers/effects etc. Haven't even started on the compressors etc
Thanks man! I use 1 wall output and checked whats the power of each unit. So with some calculation i could run it on one wall output. I use kinda star connection. And if i dont use a unit i dont power it. Peace!
nice! =) whats the most time length you can sample on the s20? does it works with internal rom? Diskette? SD card? how you do your routing? to the mixing desk, inserts on the equipment back to the desk then daw? cheers
Thanks man! I dont know the exact sampling time but i gues its about 14sec in stereo. You can save the sounds on diskette if you wish. I go from the s20 stereo output direct in a direct group input on my console. Those groups are connected to my patchbay by the inserts. So from there i can patch on my bay with the outboard gear. Cheers!
@@TommyVamoz yes i was wondering if you using a patch bay but didnt see any around. now I understand how can you stem stuff but that s20 is really interesting piece of gear.
@CheekyRobot Out of the box the S20 is loaded with 1Mb of RAM, enough for only 14 seconds of mono sampling at 32kHz, but it can accept an additional 4Mb or 16Mb SIMM. With 17Mb installed, the sampling time jumps up to 131 seconds in stereo at 32kHz.
