I picked up lots of confirmation on which training to do from those clips so that seems not worthless at all. It should be clear what to train based on what position on a boat you are manning. If you are a grinder, I recon a speed based balance HIIT workout will be less important compared to endurance strength, while a bowman will pretty much be the opposite of this.
