Flanked by the Cederberg and Kouebokkeveld mountain in the west and the Roggeveld berge in the East.
If you have had enough of the city and have a thirst for nature come and Camp in the Magical Tankwa Karoo, find your inner peace with some Soul Tonic. The people are friendly and the place is empty.
The Tankwa is an arid basin only 2.5 hours form Cape Town.
It takes a special type of person to thrive in this forsaken place.
Sometimes it rains but most of the time it doesn’t.
If you catch this magical place at the right time of the year you are engulfed by a profusion colour during the annual spring flower parade.
Such is the beauty of the Magical Tankwa.
But it is the people that make this place so special. We can be fortunate to have such a treasure chest in our back yard.
We camped in this beautiful place and discovered some new gems. The people are open and ready to host the weary traveller.

Do you need 4x4 to visit Enjo Farm. Haven on earth. Thank you for taking us.
You definitely don’t need a 4x4 to get to Enjo, but we love our rooftop tent aka the bird nest, and to enjoy that perk we take the “beast” on our adventures. 😉

Jeepers but the fourcoll grows tall in the Tankwa. Miles and miles of Head high nix. Nice to have you slice through it with your camera to add a different perspective.
