Here's a short video of my MTH Pennsylvania H-3 2-8-0. This is a 3.3V PS2 locomotive. The rolling stock consists of MTH Civil War period cars.

Now if MTH would release the H3 again, this is one of those Special Engines I would want to purchase. Its such a great Steam Engine. I've been looking at used ones but their prices are outrageous unless you could could be lucky enough to catch a Buy It Now at a good price. So I guess I'll just wait on MTH. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I totally agree Matt, this is a special loco! I had been looking for one of these for years and this came up as a buy it now over the summer for four-fifty which I thought was really decent for this, so I grabbed it. I have a Pennys D16, to go along with the H3. I found some old photos of what looks like D16’s and H3’s running through my town in the early 1900’s about a half mile from my house on a short line that was part of the PRR. So I had been on the hunt for these two models for a long time! Unfortunately the D16 came with a higher price :( It would be great if MTH made these again!

Thanks Matt! I probably made up for it with the D16 though, as that came along almost right after the H3. Those two come up so rarely though, I had to do it. I think we(the family) had to skip eating for a couple weeks! ;) it was worth it! :)
