okay, got tired of seeing this making the rounds on all the youtube channels so I made this tonight with my ground beef instead of soft tacos. Holy crap, this hit way harder than I thought it would on the satisfaction scale. I happened to have some adobo chicken seasoning in the kitchen and I highly recommend actually going out of the way to get some and try it. This is much easier to make than a home-cheesesteak and it's pretty darn close second. Thumbs up.
Tbh, I completely geeked out that you're officially working the ads. That means you and your cheffery will be around for me a long time 🤣 Congratulations on your success Sonny!
Sonny, I hope you see this. My 12 year old son has ADHD and we have had hours of fun & bonding time copying your videos and cooking together. I have one request: could you maybe do a simple video for younger kids, with only a few steps, to finish with a great product? If it is done in your awesome fist bumping, fridge destroying style, I'm sure it would be a home run. Perhaps it could be a separate channel? THAT DUDE CAN COOK - FOR KIDS?
Fan-freakin-tastic. I am from NYC, and my local place uses hamburger patties they just chop up and start cooking w/ the onions all at once. MMM MMM BOY
Wow, at 10:50 I finally learned how to use my food processor's drizzling feature. 👍🏻 I always thought that hole was just to help airflow dry the parts after washing.
I appreciate the honest review. I take my leftover ribeye steak and make amazing tacos with it. You need to make a video about using leftover ribeye steak and turning that meat into tacos.
Sonny, I've made mayo about ten thousand times, but every time you use that poached-egg-in-the-mayo trick, it blows my mind. I have literally never seen anyone do that. I guess I've been sheltered.
They both look great but I gotta go with the classic . My father is from New York so classic it is . I use Goya adobo seasoning on a lot of my dishes and in the different flavors , it's a great all in one and you guys are super entertaining !
Sonny I've been watching your channel since the beginning, and it's so satisfying seeing your career here on youtube progress. Glad to see you finally getting the recognition you deserve, your cooking is always top notch.
the best part of these or cheesesteak hoagies is the combo of iceberg lettuce and mayo tbh I have learned to never replace iceberg with arugula to fancify stuff it just never ends up how ya want
Hey Sonny! Quick tip for finding hoagie rolls! They often are labeled as "Sub Buns" here in Texas. Idk why we don't like the word Hoagie here, but hope that helps! Great video as always!
I love using aquafaba for my mayo! Nothing against traditional mayo, raw eggs don't bother me. I just like buying cans of chickpeas for single servings of hummus and would otherwise waste most of the water.
I lived in NYC for 22 years. Chopped Cheese always had the cheese mixed in and never had any vegetables. LOL It was literally fried beef and cheese put through a blender and served on a hoagie roll.
Yall forgot the sazon seasoning bro .. maybe you weren't informed about that but try it one day for more authentic taste.. and cheese goes on top but they mix it together when they chop it up so you're good 👍
I have made this (non fancy style) many times. So damn good. Try white onion (some uncooked) cooked cherry tomatoes, and BBQ sauce in place of pepperoncini and it'd also insane!
Never apologize for grinding steak... I ran 8 lbs of striploin through my grinder to make burgers last summer. They were so good I'm probably gonna do it again this year.
Hope you all enjoyed this chopped cheese showdown featuring my man Senpai Kai!! We had a lot of fun with this one, HAPPY COOKING MY FRIENDS!!
The second I saw you both I smiled so big lol. I've been wondering what to make for dinner tonight and I think I might just go simple and do this.
👍
Where is the famous if you know, you know left 😭😭😭😭
chopped cheese is just nyc stealing a Philadelphia sandwich and making it with shite ingredients. smh.
I love a big husky sub in my mouth, it test better when it's veiny!🤤
This is not a collab. This is sonny doing a normal video with Kai acting wild behind him.
Completely agree and I love it!
Lol
Still awesome to see these two cookin together thoe!! Gotta appreciate it for what it is man 💙🤙🏼🤙🏼
That's acting wild to you?! You don't get out much, do you?
bruh Kai saying how cute the tiny spatula was and the immediate cut to the large one absolutely floored me XD
You know Kai was just excited to get to karate kick the poor fridge
my favorite scene 😂
I mean, who could blame him? It'd be my favorite part too! Lol
Kai’s double front kicks with slippers on barely kissing the front of the poor fridge… just so artfully done 😂
@@shadowm3ld Wonder who else was kissing 😏👨❤️💋👨
Had to stop Sonny after seeing how much damage that fridge takes
Came for the sandwiches, stayed for the tiny glasses.
Sonny has his own pair now (;
@@SenpaiKai9000 I hope they make a return in future episodes
I stayed for the comically large offset spatula
I think the classic version is way too fancy, but it looks great. The fancy version has so many good ideas in it, I can't wait to try some of them.
Akhi never uses a blowtorch or clarified butter
Sonny is cheesy. I love Sonny’s cheesy videos. I love cheese. I love Sonny. That is all.

The ending totally topped it off. What a nice video!
I always love your commentary. You make recipes more memorable.
Have been watching you for a few years now and you just keep making me COOK! Thanks for all your hard work, jokes, and legit cooking ❤
Senpai! Glad to see he’s coming up in the world, great collab.
*puts on tiny villain sunglasses*
DECENT
Raclette is originally a Swiss cheese and meal, from the Canton of Valais (Wallis), although France and other alpine countries have adopted it too.
Such a great collab. Those sandwiches looked magical!
I love the honesty, the fancy one looked amazing (and probably was!) but there’s something about the classic that just can’t be beat.
Id love to see how he explains the fridge to his neighbors lol
His neighbors either know what's up, or they're terrified of him.
I was excited to see you collab with Kai, I have been following you two for awhile! Great fun vid, sandwich looks amazing!
My favorite content creator colab I've seen so far I love both these dudes
Lol. Chopped Cheese is more internet-famous than actual NYC-famous.
That’s how it usually is food trends
ESPECIALLY among certain folks...
Overrated ass sandwich lol
What a great collab! Two of my favorites in the same room. Definitely making a chopped cheese soon!
2 OGs indeed what a fun video man loved it and love yall

Please please please do this idea. I feel like a lot of kids that watch you need something a little simpler. I really hope to see you do this.
That adobo seasoning is truly a one-size-fits-all. Good on everything
Fan-freakin-tastic. I am from NYC, and my local place uses hamburger patties they just chop up and start cooking w/ the onions all at once. MMM MMM BOY
LOVE BOTH THESE CHANNELS
Alot of Bodega in NY put Sazon too. I prefer it that way. But still taste good either way!!
Want expecting that duo to show up in my feed, a very pleasant surprise.
So Happy to see this Collaboration, Love you guys. Decent.
Love it! I think I vote for #2...OG is awesome, but I like the new spin!
No love for the Ocky way!!?? Don't ever disrespect me! Neva, neva , neva!!
Seriously one of the best youtube videos!!!!!! Two ballers.
Oh man! This was amazing. Such good chemistry
I love yours and senpai kais channels! Awesome video!
Wow, at 10:50 I finally learned how to use my food processor's drizzling feature. 👍🏻 I always thought that hole was just to help airflow dry the parts after washing.
Love it when my group of favorite youtubers collab
I appreciate the honest review.
I take my leftover ribeye steak and make amazing tacos with it.

You used so many PERFECT ingredients for the Fancy one..
I was like this is gonna be AWESOME, before you even finished it! 🤤
*THIS IS THE VIDEO I NEEDED*
That fancy chopped cheese looks though 🔥🔥🔥
You uploaded this 4 hours ago?!
I watch you guys every 5 minutes then I turn my back for 4 hours?
Kai, Sonny. Keep it up. Gonna get withdrawal soon

I like the awkward no music bread solo lol
My gawd. I wasn’t ready
My summer eating routine is mapped out thanks to this. 👍😀👍
What a duo 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. They're on the same wave length 🤣
I love Senpai Kai! And great thumbnail! You have great colabs
Wow this video was soooooo entertaining and I learned a lot this was amazing 👍🏾
I'm making this tonight. Lol. Great episode
this is the crossover event I didn’t know I needed. Moarrr!
this collab was DECENT
omg my fav cooking channels in one vid lol
Great video. Much love. That fridge never stood a chance
Made one tonight. Great, but I feel ya; getting good bread in Colorado is so hard since I left NYC a few decades ago.
This was awesome you guys !!
That poor fridge lol
Phenomenal collaboration!
Best collab ever
the best part of these or cheesesteak hoagies is the combo of iceberg lettuce and mayo tbh
I have learned to never replace iceberg with arugula to fancify stuff it just never ends up how ya want
Adobo and black beans are the greatest things my wife's Hispanic family (from NYC/Nicaragua) ever taught me about cooking. Both regular staples 😅
I made the tomatoes and put them on a salad - Delicious...
I will definitely be trying the original version of this minus mayo. Looks amazing
Love this collab
Legendary duo
I love how you bleeped over the swear but not loud enough, that was amazing!
Great collaboration! Keep the videos coming!
The video we never knew we needed!!!!!!!!!!! I love Kai the cutie pie
That looks so delicious.
I’ll take some!!
Hold the onion powder!!
Those blistered tomatoes, wow 🤩
Making that first one ASAP, $20 could give me 5 of these. Looks good af thanks Sonny!
Amazing you just introduced the every puertorican household secret adobo yup if you're Latin a adobo bottle in all our pantry
Best fridge scene yet 👏🏼
Hey Sonny! Quick tip for finding hoagie rolls! They often are labeled as "Sub Buns" here in Texas. Idk why we don't like the word Hoagie here, but hope that helps! Great video as always!
We need a collab with all the foodtubers. That wouod be sick!!!
I wish I could look out the back window and just see my neighbors going ham on a fridge in wigs
This collab works. Congrats.
your channel always has an interesting presentation along with the information.
Yo!!! Who else thought that was Salt Bae in the thumbnail???🤣😂🤣
My husband loooooves truffle anything and I can't even stand the smell of it! 😂
Thumbs up for Office Spacing that fridge at the end.
That dash onscreen and "I'm fired up" just HAAADDD to have followed the fattest of lines 😂
I love using aquafaba for my mayo! Nothing against traditional mayo, raw eggs don't bother me. I just like buying cans of chickpeas for single servings of hummus and would otherwise waste most of the water.
I would’ve never new these two would Colab 😂
The best part, by far, was the video of them "jamming out" without the audio overlay.
I lived in NYC for 22 years. Chopped Cheese always had the cheese mixed in and never had any vegetables. LOL It was literally fried beef and cheese put through a blender and served on a hoagie roll.
Bro I love ur cooking
Cheap in NYC is 8 to 10 bucks for a chopped cheese now
9:06 my guy made me jump out of my seat and chuck a punch into the air thinking theres someone behind me
Yall forgot the sazon seasoning bro .. maybe you weren't informed about that but try it one day for more authentic taste.. and cheese goes on top but they mix it together when they chop it up so you're good 👍

beautiful collab
You got the SENPAI?!?! My man 👊
Never apologize for grinding steak... I ran 8 lbs of striploin through my grinder to make burgers last summer. They were so good I'm probably gonna do it again this year.
Kai, you’re an awesome guest/co-host
What’s that Sonny?? You wanted me to get up and make this right now even though I just ate? “Salutes in culinary”
Thank you for mentioning the best melting cheese on earth is from France. ❤
