I must say that I have not had the same experience as you with the same insoles you are reviewing. That is the Weston Heated Insoles with the remote control. I've only been having them since mid November of 2023 and about 2 weeks ago I noted my left foot was cold in 30F Temps. When I got home from the hunt I plugged in the insoles to charge them and the left insole charge indicator light was Green (full charge) I then tried to re-pair the insoles to the remote and only the right one would work. I could never get the left one to come on. I reached out to Weston Support and received a reply with instructions on pairing and using some other product as it included a line on removing the battery. You cannot remove the battery. They also requested a photograph of the product I bought to send me a replacement. I provided my Name and Order number so they should KNOW what product I bought. Even if they do send replacements, the hunting season will likely be over before I get them. I am totally dissatisfied with my purchase. These things are not cheap, AND, I HAD TO PAY FOR MINE.
Thanks for this review. I need something like those insoles. I'm cutting firewood all winter long and the number one thing that shortens my work day is cold feet. Thanks again Dave
My hands and feet are my worst two places for the cold. Got Metal rods in three fingers and on blood thinner so I freeze anymore. I’d like to try these, thank you HUNTING FARMER for sharing these great new boots. 💪🏽🎥💯👍
Hot review, Dave! These look like a great options for stationary hunting or even ice fishing. I wonder how they would do hiking around in them, comfort wise. Sounds like you need to get your fingers on an exercise plan to slim them down a little. It will help push those hard to get to buttons! LOL. I know the feeling, I have the same problem. Take care and have a wonderful New Year.
Thanks for watching Steve. They are not extremely comfortable on long hikes. You can feel the hardness of the batteries you’re walking on. Definitely better suited for more stationary times. If I hike too far I’ll wait until I arrive at my spot before I put them in.
Thanks Dave for the information , as I get older like you say circulation is not as good as it used to be. I tried different things battery operated socks suck , foot warmers were weak, I purchased cabelas boots one size bigger (for heavier socks) and put hand warmers on TOP of socks taped in place so they stayed in place and it helped. I'am going to try these out next season 👍. Fyi hand warmers can be used a few times over put in a baggie seal shut and next time shake and they come back to life, buddy's would pitch after one use and I would take them seal em up . I have a kidney belt w/two slots for warmers and would transfer to the feet on next usage, the k/belt is a godsend 😁 if you never tried one your wife could wip one up w/an adjustable strap you and fellow outdoorsman would love it.
I wonder what the life span is from constant / frequent use is. Sure, they may work 6,7,8,9 times, but what about when they've been used day in and day out all winter. I guess I'm wanting to know their reliability over time. Your review has got me sold on them as long as they will last. Thanks for the honest review Dave
Great review Dave! It was my first year using a heated coat and I loved it. I wore it underneath my hunting coat and would turn it on when I started to get cold. I will be getting either the socks or insoles next. Do you think insoles are a better bet since you can use them day after day? You are the Man!!
You sure picked the right day to review heel warmers.. much Longer and you would have looked like a snow man! Great review as always and great product! How long do they take to charge once they are used up? I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!!
I don’t usually run the battery totally out and then it takes approximately 2hrs to charge. During the duration test when I did fully deplete the batteries, I didn’t watch how long it took to recharge. 😮
Looked at the Weston website and have a question. If you have tried both, do you prefer heated insoles or heated socks? Thanks for your videos. Yes at 65, I understand the cold feet thing, but enjoy being outdoors more than ever since retirement.
I have tried both (although my heated socks are another brand). I prefer the insoles vs the socks because the sock batteries are so high on my leg it’s hard to access with pants/bibs on. Also the heated socks have the heat almost too close to my skin, I like the heat in the boot and my sock on top of it with the insoles. Just my opinion after using both 👍
@@HuntingFarmerOfficial Thanks. I ordered both yesterday and also a heated jacket for my wife. I did the math and your link provided a 19.8% discount. Thank you and Merry Christmas!
Great review! You definitely need warm feet in that weather! 😂 how much snow have you had so far this year? I think I need some insoles like that when I’m checking the trail cameras in the cold!
Thanks for watching! We’ve had two different snow storms so far. Each one gave us a few inches. Your brother is always complaining about his cold shop. He might need a pair worse than you (I’m sure you’re tougher than him)! 😂🤣😂
I use hot hands and put them in a huge pair of socks OVER my boots. Both at the toes, one on top one on bottom. Best system ive found yet that actually works for hours in a tree
I’m relatively certain it would work just fine in waders. Simply remove the original insole (if possible) and slip the heated insole in. Thanks for watching Matt. Have a Merry Christmas (to you and your family) 👍
Thanks for watching Jason. That could happen. What happens to me, I forget to remove them and recharge them after being out: I’m then in your boat that you describe above 😜

I appreciate you watching Mike 👍
Just ordered them your code saved me $16 dollars! Thank you!!
Enjoy! I appreciate your support 👍
Good review, Dave. You definitely had great conditions to test out heated insoles. I'll have to keep these in mind for sure. 👍🏼
No doubt the perfect weather for it 😁
Thanks for watching Matt. I appreciate it 👍
That is a nice feature. My toes get cold real quick. Looks like you all have a good bit of snow there. Great video Dave.
I appreciate you watching Titus 👍

I appreciate you watching! Thank you 👍
About 20 years ago I discovered that simply putting a seat pad under my feet would help to prevent cold feet. Works on the ground or in a tree stand
That’s a great tip! 👍
The snow looks great. These look like a good product and very useful. Great review, thanks
Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment 👍

Thanks for watching! I appreciate it 👍
Those look really sweet good review Dave & Merry Christmas🎅🏼🎄
Thanks for watching Mike. Merry Christmas 👍
Great job with the review my friend I hope you had a great Christmas
Thanks for watching! Same to you John 👍
Great review, Dave. I'm definitely going to start looking into some of the heated footwear and clothing for next year.
Thanks for watching John! They work great for when your not hiking far. Not sure how comfortable they’d be if you were to put lots of miles on them

Thanks for watching and for the tips. I reuse hand warmers (keep them in a ziplock bag). I found they usually get even hotter on the 2nd or 3rd use. 👍
Thanks for the video and discount. I ordered 2 for long days out in the field. I'm hoping they work well, my feet get freezing.
Thanks for watching and for the support. Enjoy 👍

Thanks for watching. I can give an update after the winter. I’m using them everyday right now 👍
Great review, love the remote control aspect of it, seems like a pretty good product! 👍
I appreciate you watching 👍

I have heated socks and now these insoles. I prefer the insoles because you don’t have to deal with the batteries bulging in your pant leg/boots.

Thanks for watching! I appreciate it.

They look nice Dave. What was the coldest Temperature you use them in and for how long was it?
I used them with temps in the teens. The next few days should test them even more 😜
Enjoy your videos.
My feet are the first to go cold..
Be awesome around my farm and for hunting thanks for sharing buddy
Thanks for watching! It’s appreciated 👍
I went with the battery that straps to your ankle !!
I use hot hands and put them in a huge pair of socks OVER my boots. Both at the toes, one on top one on bottom. Best system ive found yet that actually works for hours in a tree

Any thoughts about these heated insoles inside a wader boot? Been kicking the idea around for a while.
I’m relatively certain it would work just fine in waders. Simply remove the original insole (if possible) and slip the heated insole in. Thanks for watching Matt. Have a Merry Christmas (to you and your family) 👍
Great idea for heated insoles
Thanks for watching John 👍
Where are these socks made?
Thanks for watching. They are made in China
Sold 🤠👍
I appreciate your support 👍
Great idea but I would hate to be out and realize I forgot to charge them.
Thanks for watching Jason. That could happen. What happens to me, I forget to remove them and recharge them after being out: I’m then in your boat that you describe above 😜
I dont see the link
Thanks for watching. The link is below the video (might have to click on “more”
