Thank heavens I found this. Been trying to move it for 2 years.
Thank you!! I was struggling to remove my cellular shade with all my might and pushing in and twisting forward removed it immediately and without effort. I wish I had seen this before I removed (and destroyed) 3 other shades. :)
What did they do before you could just RUclips this stuff? God I am thankful for technology!
Thank you, I NEVER would have figured it out on my own!
Jim Petersen SAME!!!
Thank you so much! It is so easy to remove it after I watched your video.
Excellant! I really was puzzled until as saw your video. Thanks!
Thank you
Thank you!!!
Super cool 🎥👌😃🙋♂️
Really? It’s been this easy all along? Wow I feel like such an idiot 🤭 thank you for the video
Hey don't feel like that, every day we learned something new, nobody came with the knowledge 💯.
The good thing is you try and do it fine, so good for you.🖐 🙂
Can you please show a longer picture of what your brackets look like I go mine at Home Depot but I don’t know. If I will be able to remove so I’m waiting
Hi there, the bracket in this video is the one at this link: fixmyblinds.com/products/mounting-bracket-for-rollease-cellular-and-cassette-80-roller-shades. But there are a lot of different brackets out there. If you need further help with your shade, please reach out to us at service@fixmyblinds.com.
On the brand I have this did not work. It is the bottom part of the bracket I had to push on. Carefully used a screwdriver to do this. I have hand arthritis and can not squeeze anything.
Hi Chris, All mounting brackets work a little bit differently. I'm glad that you found a way to remove yours.
@@fixmyblinds Thank you, Just thought I would comment . I struggled and almost gave up then tried it the other way ad it was so easy. Just trying to helo some one that has the different kind of blind Not being snarky.
Thank you. Why did they not include this with instructions 🙄
Not the right bracket mount for my shades.
If you need any help, please send us some pictures of your specific brackets and we can provide instructions about how they work. Our email address is service@fixmyblinds.com.
Doesn’t work at all for me actually end up breaking them trying to use your method. Thanks.
I'm so sorry to hear that the brackets broke! We may have replacement brackets for your shade. If you're interested, please reach out to us at service@fixmyblinds.com. Send over some pictures of the top rail of your shade and the broken brackets.
My brackets seem to be the same as the one in the video but they wont release even after the button is depressed and the window side is swing down towards me. I cant figure out why its stuck. Such crap tech tbh.
Hi there, If you'd like to email us a couple pictures of your brackets (whatever parts you can see) and of your shade, we can provide some tips to get those down out of the window. Our email is service@fixmyblinds.com.
@@fixmyblinds Thanks for the offer. It was down to the brackets just being poorly installed by maintenance. I had to slightly bend the rail of the blinds to get it off. Yikes!
Glad you were able to get the shade down out of the window!
