Might swing by harbor freight and pick up the herk! I have the Klein backpack it’s similiar to the Bauer and always fall over and very tight space cannot fit my drill or impact the herk looks bigger and bulkier so hoping it shouldn’t have that problem
I just purchased one of these tool backpacks Hercules and it’s nice and beefy with weight and stiffness that’s needed in all the right spots. I am very happy with mine and am even considering a second one for even more tool storage in the future. My harbor freight only had one tool bag in stock at the time I purchased mine and with the supply chain issues who knows when they will restock.
Awesome review. I was just lugging my toolbox across a parking lot, up a flight of stairs and back down. Really got me to thinking of these packs. (I'm always lugging around a basic automotive tool kit. Sockets and such. Old cars and scrapyards...)
If Milwaukee and Walmart made a backpack, it would be the Hercules. This bag has so much potential in the design and engineering behind it's durability. However it's constructed as if made in a Walmart sweatshop. But I still shop at Walmart. And I still bought this bag. Only time will tell if the many frayed seams hold up.
@@1D10CRACY reason why I asked, I was in use it for weighted Bodyweight exercises, but I didn't know what the capacity was. Depending on how big the zipper areas are, it might not be enough room
The Hercules design is pretty much a clone of the Klein trade master backpack. I wonder if they’re made in the same factory. Wouldn’t be surprised honestly lol
Who is the target audience of the Hercules bag? You can get the Milwaukee packout backpack for much cheaper than $140. And the non-pack out versions are even cheaper. Who would buy this?
The Bauer bag is competing with the Milwaukee Packout bag. The Hercules bag is competing with Klein's Tradesman Pro Organizer. They are completely different bags for different uses. Both the Klein and the Hercules bag is pretty beefy compared to the Packout bag. But I suspect people buy the Milwaukee because of the brand and never give it another though.
As much as I love milwaukee, red is not even near my favorite color. Also after holding both milwaukee pack out bag and a Klein bag, I personally prefer the Klein bag. The layout of the Hercules is closer to that and cheaper than 199. I'm not getting that ugly woodlands color Klein bag for 79$ either.

Great review. Very well presented. Convinced me to go look at one myself
Needed a tool bag for my car, and went with the Hercules. A bit pricey, but I used one of the 25% coupons. I like it a lot so far.
Thumbs up! Great review of those tool bags. I'm always interested in Harbor Freight tool reviews.
I got the Bauer bag it's a great bag.

Has the back held up?
Has the bag held up???
Has the bag held up?!!
Awesome reviews of both bags!!!
I like that Hercules
Damn you, you peaked my curiosity again!
Do you have any idea what the weight limit is for the inside of the bag
I don't remember seeing an official rating, but I would bet the Hercules bag will handle anything you put in it.

How do they carry full? I'm a maintenance man in a tool factory, I don't use a cart to carry my tools. I'm using the awp hp but it's failing.
How heavy is Hercules' backpack? Thanks
Their website says 11.4lbs.

The Milwaukee handle is very cheap. And as far as I know. No water bottle holder. Hercules it is
Nice but too much for me, I would buy 3 more tools instead.
