Doug Hepburn used a similar approach, one of his favorite methods was the 4x1 to 10x1 singles at 90% max, starting with 4 singles, then adding 1 single every training day up to 10 , then add some weight and reset to 4.Pretty solid.
Hi Josh I love your video and training single what do you think of this in a block Periodization of 3 to 5 weeks each : volume/accumulation : Jim Williams rest pause style, intensification : Density training/Emom, Sur compensation( 1or 2 week) : heavy cluster style. Réalisation block : Brook kubik style, thanks
I’ve bought your book and love all your different approaches to the strength game. However I didn’t get a great explanation on the when, why, how to implement the techniques into a program ie time under tension, cluster sets, isometrics, dead bench and so on. Is it a “up to you/ how you feel” or is there like 4 week blocks etc of the movements? Thanks or any feed back!
This guys an awesome coach, my bench hadn't moved in years until I started dead benching & listening to the advice in Josh's videos.
Thanks!
@@jailhousestrong No, thank you!

Quality content! Thanks a lot. Subscribed!
Thanks brother!
I’ve been doing the dinosaur training method on bench then hitting a few singles using the slingshot and it works like a charm
Great video! So much knowledge in a short amount of time.
Thanks
I like the Hepburn singles program
Sounds pretty hard. Im used to taking atleast 1:30min rest between sets when doing heavy singles or doubles
I heard a lot of good things about cluster sets. It makes sense. I'm going to give that one a try.
Amazing info. Thanks Josh.
Thanks matt
Awesome content!
Thanks!!
Great! Thanks a lot!
Thanks
Training with singles is a real disaster indeed. They're always chatting with girls and watching their booties in the gym :)
